Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Andrea Riseborough was in LA on Wednesday for the BVLGARI Celebrates the Holidays event.

The actress wore a pale blue floral Erdem Spring 2012 dress with sheer neckline and sleeve detailing.

Her dress was paired with silver Barbara Bui snakeskin pumps and an oversized black and brown bag.

While the old-lady-esque bag paired with such an ornate floral print could easily scream ‘nursing home’, this look is entirely saved by modern hair and makeup.

Andrea rocks the always-popular top-knot, and wears minimal makeup, save for an orange lip – which, coincidentally, has just been named Pantone’s colour of 2012.

We would still opt to ditch the bag, but kudos for the most fashion-forward hair and makeup we’ve seen on Andrea in quite some time.

Michelle Williams attended her second New York premiere for her latest movie, ‘My Week With Marilyn’, on Sunday evening.

The actress wore an Erdem Spring 2012 dress.

Her nude spaghetti-strapped dress with intricate embroidered details is sensational, but once again I’m longing for some interesting accessories to take her look up a notch or two.

The beauty is really in the simplicity without question, but a sexy pair of non-black Tabitha Simmons peep-toes would’ve been refreshing.

Instead she opted for Roger Vivier black peep-toes.

Kate Bosworth opted for yet another Spring 2012 dress on the red carpet at the LACMA’s Art and Film Gala which took place LA yesterday evening.

The actress wore an Erdem Spring 2012 dress.

I really tried to fall in love with this lace lemon off-the-shoulder dress, but I failed.

As beautiful as the dress is, it feels a tad frumpy on Kate.

I can picture January Jones wearing this on the set of ‘Mad Men’ with a string of pearls and a voluminous bouffant on a rare out night with her on-screen husband.

I’m not sure if it’s the lace sleeves or the lack of definition around the waist, but it just doesn’t work for me.

Kate accessorized with champagne coloured accessories included a Christian Louboutin clutch and Jonathan Kelsey pumps.

A chic updo and pink lips completed her look.

Anne Hathaway flashed her pearly whites on the red carpet at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala in Beverly Hills last night.

She snagged the first look from the Erdem Spring 2012 collection.

Her sexy floral-print embroidered dress with a high-waist skirt and spaghetti-string bralet was unfortunately teamed with uninspiring footwear.

The runway Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem shoes may have been too matchy-matchy, but they would’ve been a more interesting choice for me.

As much as I love Anne’s glossy tresses, I wish she would add some variety to her look more often.

A simple bun would’ve worked so much better for me on this occasion.

Bee Shaffer and Anna Wintour opted for colourful prints by British-based designers whilst attending the London Show Rooms LA closing cocktail event at Mondrian in West Hollywood, California yesterday.

Bee wore an abstract print Peter Pilotto Resort 2012 dress which she teamed with Roger Vivier Rose n’ Roll sandals.

I almost fell off my chair when I saw Anna wearing black knee-high boots with her Erdem Spring 2010 dress.

I guess her nude Manolos are only her ‘go-to’ summer shoe.

A black cardigan worn over her shoulders and her favourite beaded antique Georgian collet necklace completed her look.

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Premiere of her movie “Martha Marcy May Marlene” at the Ryerson Theatre during the 2011 Toronto Film Festival yesterday.

The actress chose an Erdem Lucietta floral-print silk crepe de chine gown from the Resort 2012 collection.

Her long, multi-coloured floral print dress features a keyhole cutout and short sleeves.

Elizabeth accessorized her dress with a beige Salvatore Ferragamo Swarovski crystal minaudiere, Jason Wu shoes and Kara Ackerman jewels.

She wore her glossy blonde hair in a half-up, half-down style and added coral eyeshadow and pink lips to her look.

I adore this pretty, summery ensemble on Elizabeth and especially like her Ferragamo clutch. It’s a grown-up look for the young actress but she manages to pull it off perfectly.
