Laura Carmichael, Eleanor Tomlinson & Joanne Froggatt – ‘Wolf Hall’ Celebration

Laura Carmichael, Eleanor Tomlinson & Joanne Froggatt - 'Wolf Hall' Celebration

On Sunday (January 18), Laura Carmichael, Eleanor Tomlinson and Joanne Froggatt attended an afternoon tea held at the British Consulate to celebrate ‘Wolf Hall’, airing on PBS, in Los Angeles, California.

Laura Carmichael: The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore one of her favourite designers, selecting a summery floral-print frock from Erdem’s Resort 2015 collection. Styled with a Chloe ‘Drew’ nude-hued bag and navy suede pumps, tousled tresses and a pink lip completed her daytime-chic look.

Eleanor Tomlinson: The ‘Poldark’ actress unexpectedly styled her dainty garden-party yellow hued frock with yellow and pink edgy sandals.

Joanne Froggatt: I love Joanne’s style as she always appears to be having fun with what she wears. Here, she donned a flirty black and pink flared Issa design styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a black Jimmy Choo clutch.

Sophie Hunter In Erdem – 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Sophie Hunter In Erdem - 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Benedict Cumberbatch and pregnant fiancée Sophie Hunter attended the 2015 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, California.

Since Sophie has come into the picture, I have to admit that for me she has stolen the spotlight from Benedict.

My eyes always fall straight to her.

On this occasion she looked gorgeous wearing another Erdem gown, this time a navy metallic floral jacquard gown from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Styled with a complementary rouge lip and chic chignon, this lady is the only one who can rival Camila Alves in the best-dressed plus-one department.

Oh, and with regard to Benedict, the papa-to-be of course looked very handsome in a classic tux.

Keira Knightley In Erdem & Hermes – 2015 AFI Awards & 2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party

Keira Knightley In Erdem & Hermes - 2015 AFI Awards & 2015 BAFTA Tea Party

Keira Knightley, who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture category for ‘The Imitation Game,’ attended two events this weekend.

2015 AFI Awards: On Friday (January 9) the actress, who confirmed at the end of last year that she is indeed pregnant with her first child, wore an Erdem Pre-Fall 2015 dress with the designer’s signature stamp: florals. While the style is classic and elegant, I do find myself a tad underwhelmed.

2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party: The following day, Keira attended the BAFTA LA Tea Party wearing a saffron-yellow, empire waist Hermes Spring 2015 dress styled with a matching Roger Vivier ‘Prismick Mini Beads’ clutch and black Charlotte Olympia kitten heels. Despite the colour, again I feel totally underwhelmed.

Perhaps she’s conserving her energies for tonight, but when I compare her to the likes of Zoe Saldana, Kristen Bell, and Blake Lively, her maternity style has yet to blow me away.

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen & Erdem – InStyle’s Golden Globe Nominations Party & 2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen & Erdem - InStyle's Golden Globe Nominations Party & BAFTA Tea Party

Before attending the Golden Globes this evening, where she is nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama category for ‘Theory of Everything,’ Felicity Jones attended both InStyle’s Golden Globe Nominations party held at the Chateau Marmont on Friday (January 9) and the 2015 BAFTA Tea Party held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday (January 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

InStyle’s Golden Globe Nominations Party: The actress continued her love for muted tones wearing a black Alexander McQueen Spring 2015 fitted harness peplum dress styled with a playful pair of Sophia Webster ‘Daria Neon’ pumps for an unexpected, but very welcome, twist.

2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party: Wearing another pair of eye catching heels, this time by Giuseppe Zanotti, Felicity wore an Erdem long-sleeve sheer printed dress styled with an Anya Hindmarch clutch.

Of the two looks, I’m instantly drawn to the first for its overall sleekness and chic appeal. I’m only intrigued by the footwear for the second look.

Michelle Dockery in Erdem – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Michelle Dockery in Erdem - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Michelle Dockery returned to the red carpet at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, hosted at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1), to present designer Erdem Moralioğlu with the Womenswear Designer of the Year trophy.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress naturally opted for an Erdem Spring 2015 dress, which she represented beautifully although I had every intention of passing it off as a bit cluttered and chaotic for comfort.

But the bold and botanical statement ultimately proved to grow on me with every passing glance, as Michelle carried off the embroidered layers of fronds and greenery with characteristic elegance.

The sheer, sexy peekaboo detailing only added to the dark mystique of the design, which was counteracted by a sense of Victorian properness via the high neckline and ankle-grazing length.

A slightly unkempt updo and desert-rose-toned makeup only added to the intrigue. She could have stepped off the runway herself.
