Thandie Newton In Erdem – PaleyFest Los Angeles: ‘Westworld’

After a brief flirtation with blonde tresses, it was back to black for Thandie Newton who joined her co-star Evan Rachel Wood for the PaleyFest Los Angeles event for ‘Westworld’ on Saturday (March 25) in Hollywood, California.

With glistening embellishments, it appears Thandie got the same sequin memo as Sarah Paulson, opting for a vibrant Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 top and decorated with the designers signature florals.

Styled with pale pink Alexander McQueen pumps to amp up the Spring vibe, what I love most about Thandie’s style is that she marches to the beat of her own drum, isn’t afraid to take risks and most importantly has fun with fashion.

Gemma Arterton In Erdem – ‘Their Finest’ New York Screening

Gemma Arterton was back on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Their Finest’ on Thursday (March 23) in New York City.

When it comes to red carpet style, Gemma tends to favour a fitted silhouette, so this Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 gown featuring a fluid silhouette enhanced with asymmetrical drape that flutters over one shoulder feels like a change of pace.

The new haircut could’ve played a part; either way both are working in her favour as she looks radiant.

Laura Carmichael In Erdem – Three Empire Awards

Laura Carmichael was also at the Three Empire awards on Sunday (March 19) in London alongside Ella Purnell and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Perhaps inspired by the flirty appeal of this girly, bubblegum-pink hue, she wore an Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 embroidered dress.

Generally, a peplum-style silhouette is meant to be flattering, but here the extra fabric at the waist and hip fell a bit awkwardly.

I would also say her dark sandals somewhat weighed down the dress, however, the opposite was true for her beauty look which was a fresh, natural finish.

Felicity Jones In Erdem – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Following the main event, Felicity Jones second look on Sunday (February 26) was presented at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar party.

Always a fan of interesting and ladylike silhouettes, the actress stayed true to her style in an Erdem Fall 2017 dress.

The deep and glittery shade of the gown is perfect for the evening; however, I am left feeling slightly underwhelmed – even with all those sequins.

Do you love the look, or do you also feel like something is missing? I’m leaning towards the latter.

Alfre Woodard’s Sistahs Soiree

The 8th annual Oscar’s Sistahs Soiree, presented by Alfre Woodard and Farfetch, was held on Wednesday (February 22) in LA.

Ruth Negga: Continuing to celebrate a vintage aesthetic that we’ve seen earlier this year from her, the ‘Loving’ actress paired her studded Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 dress with a Simone Rocha faux fur stole. The bubblegum-pink Stella Luna pumps were a surprise, adding an element of quirkiness to the look. But I would have kept them red to match the embroidery on the stole and her lip.

Tessa Thompson: Delivering Rodarte’s unique brand of intriguing femininity, this Spring 2017 ruffled dress relied on an interesting mix of textures, polka dots, and flounce. Like the frock or not, the minimalist styling was on point until the ankles. The flashy gold platforms compromised the dark charm.

Viola Davis: Working her side angles, the actress posed in a black cutout dress with a swirling overlay. A bright pop of colour for the lip would have added another layer of vibrant impact here.
