National Television Awards 2013

Here are the rest of the looks from last night’s 2013 National Television Awards, held at the O2 Arena in London.

Melanie Sykes: The TV presenter wore a shimmering silver one-shoulder gown, styling her look with an elegant updo and blue clutch.

Samia Ghadie: The ‘Coronation Street’ actress is so much better than this Herve Leger dress is suggesting. Samia wears this dress after Nicki Minaj.

Brook Vincent: Opting for a sleek black lace strapless gown, the ‘Coronation Street’ actress styled her frock with an Alexander McQueen clutch. I don’t think that cuff, which looks more like a sweatband, was needed.

Beyonce Knowles In Emilio Pucci - Ceremonial Inauguration For US President Barack Obama

Beyonce Knowles was accompanied by husband Jay-Z as they made their way along the West Front of the U.S. Capital in Washington, D.C. this morning to take their front-row seats to witness the second inauguration of President Barack Obama – plus, she was also there to perform the national anthem.

The loved-up couple looked very glamorous, with him in a grey Tom Ford suit and Bey mesmerizing in an Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2013 black velvet and chiffon beaded cut-out long-sleeved gown under a black fur Dior coat.

Lorraine Schwartz 80 carat emerald earrings and a 50 carat emerald ring provided a dazzling touch to her regal look.

Long two-tone honey-coloured wavy locks provided the finishing touches.

Beyonce looked stunning as always but I’m most impressed with Jay-Z, who scrubbed up very well, looking very distinguished (and, dare I say, ‘grown up’) in his suit.

Jaime King In Emilio Pucci - Golden Globes PartyJaime King joined a host of bright young things at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday evening.

While there, she flaunted a gown from Emilio Pucci Spring 2013, where designer Peter Dundas peppered his collection with traditional Asian motifs.

Subtle chinoiserie-inspired embroidery twisted and wove its way from the bottom to the cutout halter top, but the creamy color quelled the impact of the fiery dragon on Jaime’s torso.

A similar look was seen on the runway—except in sheer black—but this actress and former model opted for a more conservative interpretation of the dress.

Sleek, straight hair and a smoldering eye perfected the subtle sizzle of this look.

Julianna Margulies In Emilio Pucci - 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Known for being highly predictable on the red carpet, Julianna Margulies switched things up on Sunday evening for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

She wore a sheer lace Emilio Pucci Spring 2013 gown.

The navy beaded short-sleeve backless gown was styled with Roger Vivier black peep-toes and Fred Leighton jewels.

A hot-red lip colour and a sleek ponytail completed her ‘Good Wife’-gone-bad look.

Julianna looks awesome. I think this sexy look is a risk which paid off. Do you?

Eva Longoria in Emilio Pucci - 2013 Golden Globe AwardsEva Longoria made a rather dramatic entrance at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

She wore an intense black Emilio Pucci, custom-designed for her, paired with Martin Katz jewels.

The dress with its lacy bodice and chiffon-layered skirt flaunted all of her curves, what with its provocatively placed slit in the front, a cutout in back and a nearly hip-high slit at the side. Here we had another “Angelina Jolie” leg moment.

However, even with all that skin, the overall effect still seemed a bit dark and heavy.

An updo with bouffant-style volume finished this look with even more drama.

Gabrielle Union In Emilio Pucci (Resort 2013) - BET Honors 2013As host of last night’s BET Honors 2013, Gabrielle Union paraded out a crush of amazing quick-changes, as she took the stage at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

But her Emilio Pucci Resort 2013 red-carpet look was just as attention-grabbing.

We’ve already seen Kelly Rowland at this same event in the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.

Gabrielle’s slinky, forest-green gown with its skin-baring cutout and figure-flattering silhouette was undeniably glam, and it was more interesting than the black version.

And her long, glossy hair and glowing makeup were gorgeous with the dress.

As it happens, the actress also wore Emilio Pucci to the BET Honors last year with similar success.
