It has felt like forever – 2 weeks actually – but Elie Saab is finally back on the red carpet courtesy of Yasmine Al Masri.

The actress attended the “Miral” Premiere in which she stars during 2010 Venice Film Festival.

She looks stunning.

I love seeing her womanly figure in this stunning mint green Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown.

As I’m not a fan of the side sweeping pony past the age of 5, I’ll have to mark her down on an otherwise flawless look.

Since Heatworld have copied each of my Who Wore It Better? polls this week, I thought I would stump them today by featuring two stunning beauties that their Kerry Katona loving readers won’t understand.

Aishwarya Rai looked stunning wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2010 gown to the 2010 Longines Charity Dinner which was held in Paris back in June.

I was in total awe of the Indian actress as she took my breath away with her grace and beauty.

Flawless make-up and a gold clutch completed her look.

Chinese supermodel Liu Wen wore the same dress to Marie Claire’s Style event which was held at the Shangri-La Hotel last week. (Check out her amazing Vogue China September 2010 editorial)

She’s no stranger to Elie Saab’s designs, as she walked the runway during his Fall 2010 Couture presentation.

Liu opted for two pops of colour by sporting bold red lips and bubblegum pink Bottega Veneta knot marcapunto stitched clutch.

Although Liu’s pink clutch is a cute idea, I guess I’m more old fashioned because I loved way Aishwarya gold clutch complements the studs on her exquisite gown.

I also prefer this gown with the hair up so Aishwarya wins on two counts.

OMG.

I had – and still have goosebumps – over this picture of Angelina Jolie.

The actress is currently in Berlin where she attended the “Salt” photocall in the Wintergarden of the Berlin Adlon Hotel in Germany this afternoon.

I’ve been so happy that she’s not been wearing black lately, NOW she made my life by wearing my favourite designer Elie Saab.

This royal blue dress is from Elie Saab’s Fall 2010 collection.

I love the details including the slightly padded cap sleeves and the ruffled detail which cascades down the front of the dress.

Ange doesn’t often do fitted, so this silhouette looks stunning on her svelte figure.

Ferragamo white heels complete the look.

I’m going to lie down, because I can’t breathe.

It was a very quiet weekend on the red carpet, but one person shone very brightly – Dita von Teese.

The burlesque star looked stunning as she walked the red carpet at the ‘amfAR Gala Vienna’ 2010 as part of the ’2010 Life Ball’ at Parliament of Austria in Vienna.

For those who says she’s too samey on the red carpet, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this burst of citrus lemon.

Dita looked exquisite wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2008 Couture strapless gown.

I adore her for revisiting one of my favourite Elie Saab Couture collections. This was during his ‘bling’ phase of producing heavily embellished pieces.

I don’t like her attempt to be matchy matchy with the clutch, but everything else from her bun to the tip of her train is perfection.

Definitely a contender for BDOTW.

Elie Saab’s Fall 2010 Couture presentation was red hot.

Garnet, scarlet, ruby and crimson dominated the runway of this breath-taking presentation.

Aside from the reds the colour scheme was perfect for Fall with gold, pewter, mint, gold, champagne and fiery prints which looked even more dramatic in motion – like a volcano erupting.

The first thing that sprang to mind when seeing this collection – which was based on a phoenix arising from the ashes – was grown up glamour.

Many young stars like Dakota Fanning have enjoyed wearing Elie Saab recently, but for me this collection is for women like Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Diane Lane, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Winslet, Monica Bellucci and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Dramatic gowns dominated the presentation, but I found myself favouring the beaded jumpsuit which draped at the front.

It was very different for Elie who’s known for his red carpet gowns, plus I can so picture this being worn by Cate Blanchett.

The designer is not looking to test fashion boundaries, but if you’re looking for pure unadulterated high octane glamour this is the collection for you.

For the finale, the bride appears from the ashes wearing a sensational ash grey gown with a flowing vein and intricate embroidered details.

Who will be the lucky starlet to wear a look from this collection?

I don’t know, but I can’t wait to see. Olivia Palermo was in the front row.

French actress Emmanuelle Beart looked stunning as the walked the red carpet the closing ceremony for the “2010 Moscow Film Festival” with her Director husband Michael Cohen.

At the ceremony she was awarded the Stanislavsky prize for her outstanding achievement in her career of acting and devotion to the principles of Stanislavsky’s school prize.

She was no doubt also awarded the prize for being the best dressed at this event wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2010 gown.

Her blue tulle gown with a draped bodice looks amazing on her. She carries it with such grace.

I’ve always been in love with this floaty gown and I couldn’t think of anyone more perfectly stylish to wear it.

Vogue Russia threw a fabulous party attended by many local socialites to celebrate the Film Festival.

Here we see Emmanuelle’s second Elie Saab Fall 2010 look.

Her black lace and burgundy tulle panel cocktail dress was teamed with black accessories.

Both looks are amazing, but I prefer the blue gown.

Which was your favourite?
