L’Oréal Paris and Balmain Paris unveiled the campaign and the pack designs for their much-anticipated lipstick collaboration yesterday.
The campaign which features twelve women, of different origins and backgrounds, alongside Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, send a message of beauty in diversity and female empowerment.
Bringing a new vision of Parisian beauty to the world, the three stories – Rock (blue), Couture (black) and Glamazone (green) – are each told in four shades for an overall collection of twelve Color Riche Lipsticks, designed for every complexion.
Launching next month, the fashion-meets-beauty capsule collection featuring 12 bold and stylish shades, ranging from shimmery rose gold to statement-making deep purple will be sold online and in-store at Barneys and at lorealparisusa.com on September 20.
I love how the shades a marriage of edginess and opulence. I’m particularly drawn to the green and deep purple shades.
