Shailene Woodley In Calvin Klein Collection – 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Shailene Woodley In Calvin Klein Collection - 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Shailene Woodley continued her love affair with the Calvin Klein Collection while attending the IFP’s 23rd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The actress donned a white-mesh-and-black-snakeskin woven halter dress with frayed edges from the Spring 2014 collection.

I can’t say I am excited by the look, but it works for the actress’s minimalist no-fuss style. She wears the dress exceptionally well and the minimal accessories complement the look.

Shailene Woodley was also among the sea of PYTs that dotted the scene at ELLE’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration, hosted yesterday at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, California.

The young actress was honoured with the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award, so it’s only natural that she selected a Calvin Klein Spring 2014 look for the evening.

Her geometric micro-printed, paneled tunic dress in muted neutral shades was safe from the front and a bit more daring from the side with skin-baring side cutout details.

She teamed the frock with massive black sandals, which seemingly weighed down the look. Not so for her hair and makeup, though, as she rocked her short crop and painted on a fun pink lip.

Shailene Woodley also showed up to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Like so many PYTs, ‘The Spectacular Now’ actress flaunted her toned and tanned midriff in an Emilio Pucci Resort 2014 black cropped top and swirly, purple patterned V skirt.

She simplified the separates, flinging aside the lookbook’s belt, cuffs and gladiator-esque sandals for a far more pared-down approach that included plain black Casadei pumps.

Freshly sheered locks, cut in preparation for her new film, ‘The Fault In Our Stars,’ were swept back into a semi-pompadour style, putting the MTV in this red-carpet moment.

Do you like her straightforward interpretation?

Shailene Woodley In Proenza Schouler – ‘The Spectacular Now’ LA Screening

Shailene Woodley isn’t considered by many of you as one of fashion’s it girls and she appears to be both happy and comfortable with that, however she made a greater effort while attending the LA special screening of ‘The Spectacular Now’ held at the Vista Theatre in California last night.

The young actress wore a Proenza Schouler Resort 2014 black ensemble which consisted of a turtleneck crop top and draped calf-length skirt.

Taking inspiration from the lookbook, she added an ethnic statement necklace by H.O.W.L to decorate what may have been a sombre look without the jewelled piece.

A simple ponytail and Proenza Schouler black double-buckle shoes completed her look.

Is this much improved over her last outing, or are you still not impressed?

Shailene Woodley In Apiece Apart – ‘The Spectacular Now’ New York Screening

Following in a long line of midriff-exposing starlets, Shailene Woodley jumped on the trend at ‘The Spectacular Now’ screening, hosted at The Crow’s Nest last Friday in Montauk, New York.

The actress selected a creamy two-piece top and skirt from Apiece Apart’s Fall 2013 collection paired with neutrally hued Jimmy Choo ‘Jada’ sandals.

This look had the potential to be fresh and youthful, but it was screaming for different styling—and an accessory or two. The black hair band around her wrist didn’t count.

Those glossy, long waves managed to weigh down this particular ensemble, also hiding the slit detail of the top. All I wanted to do was take that hair band and give this girl a ponytail.

She does get points for that vibrant fuchsia lippie.
