Selena Gomez In Gucci – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Selena Gomez In Gucci - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Selena Gomez attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

After not being so impressed with Kirsten Dunst’s offering, this is more like it.

The actress stunned wearing a Gucci one-of-a-kind pale-grey silk georgette floor-length dress intricately embroidered with small grey crystal chains, with twisted shoulder straps held by a black-diamond crystal brooch.

Some say that she often looks like a young girl playing dress up, yet for me this sultry gown couldn’t be more perfect for her, from the alluring silhouette to the colour which complements her caramel skin tone.

This is one of her best looks in a long while.

Who Wore Dior Better…Lucy Hale or Selena Gomez?

Who Wore Dior Better Lucy Hale or Selena Gomez

Lucy Hale wore a micro-mini Dior fit-and-flare dress sculpted from vibrant red duchess satin with a lustrous sheen and a plunging neckline to the 2014 Teen Choice Awards back in August styled with Brian Atwood ‘Abell’ sandals, which added a punch to this sweet offering, a MICHAEL Michael Kors clutch, and a selection of jewels.

Selena Gomez wore the same dress last week to the ‘Rudderless’ LA premiere styled with Manolo Blahnik ‘Pacha’ translucent cap-toe pumps which complemented her black VBH envelope clutch.

My overall opinion is that the dress is too short and too tight on both; however, Lucy wins for me as I like her sassier shoe choice and the lining she added to her dress.

Selena Gomez In Christian Dior - 'Rudderless' LA Premiere

Selena Gomez attended a screening of ‘Rudderless’ held at the Vista Theatre on Tuesday (October 7) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress donned a micro-mini Dior number in a blazing red hue which was so short I hope she wasn’t required to bend over to pick anything up.

Her satin number, featuring a bell-shaped skirt, plunging neckline and waist cinch, was styled with Manolo Blahnik Pacha Translucent Cap-Toe Pumps which complemented her black envelope VBH clutch.

Adding a touch of bling with some silver bangles and diamond earrings, all I can really focus on is how short that dress is.

You may remember that Lucy Hale wore this same dress to the Teen Choice Awards.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 Front Row

Louis Vuitton presented their Spring 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (October 1) to a mix of LV devotees and some new fans they have picked up along the way.

Jennifer Connelly: I was going to call Jennifer Connelly Nicolas Ghesquière’s biggest fan, but Charlotte Gainsbourg would dispute that. The actress selected an LV Resort 2015 black suit with red seams which on most I don’t think I would buy, mostly due to the leather neckline, but Jennifer sells the look to me with her confident pose and the elegance which oozes from every pore.

Charlotte Gainsbourg: The French beauty always nails it, this time working a Resort 2015 biker chic look which as always looks effortless. Even though I really dislike those front-zipper trousers, like Jennifer, Charlotte managed to sell this look to me in its entirety.

Michelle Williams: While Jennifer and Charlotte wear LV religiously, Michelle, who is the face of Louis Vuitton’s desirable bags for a third season, often wears the brand, selecting the easier pieces for her red carpet look. I found myself loving this sportier look from Michelle. The look feels fresh and effortless without compromising her style or the brand’s ethos.

Selena Gomez In Louis Vuitton – CR Fashion Book Issue No.5 Launch Party

Selena Gomez In Louis Vuitton - CR Fashion Book Issue No

Selena Gomez attended the CR Fashion Book Issue No.5 Launch Party held at The Peninsula Paris on Tuesday (September 30) in Paris, France.

The young actress wore a Louis Vuitton satin jumpsuit featuring a plunging neckline which for some might be a bit too risqué, but my issue is the fit.

The trousers are too long and I’m not a huge fan of the cummerbund-style waistline.

I do, however, like the shoes, but when it comes to this look, that’s about it – she can do so much better.
