Scarlett Johansson In Saint Laurent – 2013 Tony Awards

Scarlett Johansson In Saint Laurent - 2013 Tony Awards

I was hugely disappointed that Scarlett Johansson didn’t really get into the spirit of the event for the 2013 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday evening.

The actress shunned the gown dress code for a Saint Laurent Fall 2013 mini dress with an animal-print patterned yoke.

Despite my disappointment, the look was impeccably styled with a Saint Laurent black blazer with satin lapels, a patent-leather clutch and Saint Laurent ‘Janis’ pumps.

Back in 2010, she was outstanding at this event. Today, forgettable.

Scarlett Johansson In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ Broadway Opening Night After Party

Scarlett Johansson In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof' Broadway Opening Night After Party

Scarlett Johansson attended the ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ Broadway opening night after party at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City yesterday evening.

Dressed in a chic all-black look, she donned a Dolce & Gabbana linen bouclé short-sleeve top with crochet details, which she paired with fitted black pants.

While the clothing and her shoes were all black, there were a few pops of colour added to her look via her red nails, red Dolce & Gabbana lip colour and aqua, silver and marine-blue Irene Neuwirth drop earrings.

Whilst the look is lacking va-va-voom, it’s high on sophistication.

A simple updo completed ScarJo’s effortless look.

Scarlett Johansson For Elle UK February 2013

Scarlett Johansson Elle UK

Scarlett Johansson graces the cover of Elle UK’s February 2013 issue wearing a Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 white dress with the leather Manolo Blahnik for Victoria Beckham peep-toe booties which also took to the runway back in September.

Rankin captured the Avengers star wearing a variety of other Spring 2013 designs from Jonathan Saunders, Tom Ford and Burberry Prorsum.

In her interview, ScarJo talks about her bombshell status, marriage and her perfect New York night.

You can read the full interview in Elle UK which is out now, and you can read some of the extracts below.

On her former marriage to Ryan Reynolds: “I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It’s hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married… I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’”

On having kids one day: “It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I’m not having kids anytime soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot, and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”

On her status as a sex symbol: “I think any woman who is curvy and wears a gown to an event is, like, super sexualized. I mean, at the time I was 18, 19. I was young. I’ve always been curvy. It runs in the family. Throw on an evening frock and it’s like all of a sudden you have boobs and everyone is like: ‘bombshell!’ Instantly it was: ‘The new Marilyn [Monroe].’”

Scarlett Johansson In Giambattista Valli – Late Show with David Letterman

While Scarlett Johansson’s co-stars, Jessica Biel, Helen Mirren and Toni Collette, were in LA attending the premiere of their latest movie, ‘Hitchcock’, ScarJo stayed on the east coast for a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’.

The blonde beauty wore a Giambattista Valli black halter dress, to which she wisely added with a Stella McCartney black wool coat.

To complete her head-to-toe all-black look, she wore Jimmy Choo sandals and smouldered with smoky kohl-rimmed eyes.

A quiffed updo and Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

I’m sure she looked amazing on the show without the coat: that dress looks to be hugging her in all the right places.

Scarlett Johansson In Rodarte – ‘Hitchcock’ New York Premiere

Scarlett Johansson gave us a new look on the red carpet in New York last night for the ‘Hitchcock’ premiere, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theater.

She wore a Rodarte Spring 2013 dress, opting to wear the black-and-green ivy-trellis-printed dress without the printed turtleneck.

Scarjo’s strapless dress was styled with black Gucci peep-toe booties and a dramatic deep-red lip colour.

I really tried to force myself to like this look, but I can’t.

The shoes are the worst offender, making her legs look very stumpy, and the edgy dress doesn’t suit her classic style.

I would’ve loved to have seen this look on someone like Emma Stone or Leighton Meester.

Who Wore Mary Katranzou Better…Scarlett Johansson or Jane Krakowski?

Back in April, Scarlett Johansson wore a Mary Katranzou Fall 2012 digital wildflower print dress to ‘The Avengers’ premiere in Rome, Italy.

It was one of the few looks to wow us during this promo tour from Scarlett.

She styled her dress with Bulgari jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Suki’ sandals.

Jane Krakowski wore the same dress to the celebration of the final season of ’30 Rock’ in New York City last month.

She styled her cap-sleeve dress with YSL ‘Tribute’ sandals and a blue pendant necklace, which many of you express a dislike for.

Scarlett wins for me. You guys were right; the blue necklace doesn’t belong with this look. The print speaks for itself.

You can buy Scarlett and Jane’s Mary Katrantzou dress from Farfetch US, farfetch.com, Matches Fashion UK, Matches Fashion Global and Browns Fashion.
