33rd Annual Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), Egypt

It’s been a while since we last saw Salma Hayek looking this fantastic.

The actress looked stunning at this event were she received an honorary award wearing a printed Balenciaga Fall 2009 gown.

I had hoped to see more from this collection on the red carpet, but Salma delights in her stunning gown version, which I prefer to the runway.

Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Inaugural Governors Awards, LA

Ever since Cannes Film Festival Abbie Cornish just gets better and better for me on the red carpet.

I adore her in this Christian Dior lilac belted gown.

Her hair and make-up are gorgeous, her Neil Lane jewels are subtly beautiful and that clutch is divine.

Holt Renfrew Celebrates New Calgary Store, Canada

After two gowns Kristen Bell gives us a fresh sparkling Jenni Kayne Spring 2010 mini to get us in the to party mood for this weekend.

As always the blonde actress is flawless.

“The Blind Side” New Orleans Benefit Premiere

Sandra Bullock looked stunning wearing a purple striped Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 gown.

I just wish she had smiled to help me love this look even more.

Fabolous’ Birthday Party, New York

Amber Rose usually over does it by wearing loud colours, or tacky tight ensembles but I’m totally in love with this Martin Grant Fall 2009 sculptured bustier.

Black velvet pants, YSL suede black heels and sunglasses complete her look.

2010 Pirelli Calendar Cocktail Reception, London

Daisy Lowe opted for a Jasmine di Milo Fall 2008 jumpsuit which is split to the thigh.

I love this look as it’s seductive without being too revealing.

The tights even work in her favour, as she looks like she’s wearing a full bodysuit.

NAC’s Medal of Honor for Film Award Presentation, New York

I’m not feeling this Alexander McQueen Resort 2010 look on Christina Ricci at all, and it has nothing to do with the tights.

The asymmetrical one-sleeved mini has a mish mash of colours I really don’t like, plus I don’t think the dress is particularly flattering on her.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Birthday Celebration, New York

I’ve loved this Alexander Wang corseted one-shoulder dress ever since I laid eyes on it.

Kim Kardashian does look good in this dress.

I love way the dress gracefully drapes her shoulder, but she’s a little bit too busty for the dress.

2009 MTVU Woodie Awards, New York

I’m also surprised we haven’t seem much of the Balenciaga Resort 2010 collection on the red carpet.

Jessica Stam opted to wear this orange belted mini with tight and a small patterned bag.

“The Princess And The Frog”, LA Premiere

It’s been forever since we last saw Anika Noni Rose on the red carpet, then she reappears at this premiere wearing the Thread Social asymmetrical dress I had added to my ‘favourites’ a few weeks ago.

I love the back of the dress with the unexpected double strappy detail.

Such a cute look to match that gorgeous smile.

“Me And Orson Welles” UK Premiere

Claire Danes’ Stella McCartney gown is very classic and simple with ruffle details.

Large silver earrings provides the sparkle.

Best Dressed Award
It’s been a while but Selena Gomez finally wears something that I really love, as she had been dressed older than her teen years.

I adore her pink Tracy Reese Black Label gown, especially the cute petals adorning the bodice and shoulder.

It’s the perfect gown for her both the colour and style.

Best Spring 2010 Red Carpet Debut Award
Jordana Brewster picked a stunning gown from Reem Acra’s recently presented Spring 2010 collection.

The strapless draped canary yellow gown is such an ethereal colour which adds warmth of her skin.

Perfect choice for her.

Back to Black Award
After having a very brief flirtation as a blonde, Nelly Furtado goes back to her natural darker hair colour.

She looked stunning last night wearing Elie Saab Fall 2009 black halter-neck gown with contrasting lace panel for a provocative twist.

This is her second Elie Saab look in a row.

Slightly Disappointed, But I Do Like It Award
I expected a big gown from Eva Longoria on this red carpet, but I guess she was saving them for the show.

The host for the night opted for a strapless taupe paillette covered column Oscar de la Renta dress - which slightly squash the twins - paired taupe heels.

Her hair and neutral make-up are perfect for this look.

Best Non-Supported Actress Award

Jennifer Morrison should really have worn a bra with her Herve Leger cream gown, because the twins are looking a wee bit lopsided.

Once I got over that I could appreciated how stunning she looks.

She could have easily opted for a neutral make-up, but added a dash of red to the lips for a more sultry look.

Frizz Ease Award
Dania Ramirez’ also wore a canary yellow gown, but hers was by Pamella Roland.

I love the gown and the criss-crossing ruched detail on the bodice, but girlfriend needs some serum in her hair to control that frizz.

De Ja Vu Award
Jamie-Lynn Sigler wore a gown earlier this week in exactly the same colour, but this time her gown is strapless.

I’m more excited by the necklace than the gown.

Most Disappointing Award
Salma Hayek would normally proudly show-off the twins, wear a stunning gown, or do both.

This is not a look I would associate with Salma.

The shorter velvet deep lilac modified Bottega Veneta Fall 2009 dress is hideous and so over accessorized with the two necklaces and jewled headband.

YSL metallic Trib Two heels and a matching Bottega Veneta box clutch completes this terrible look.  I really hate it.

Worst Dressed Award
I was surprised Eva La Rue was wearing a Zuhair Murad gown, because this gown is very Las Vegas show girl to me.

From the colour to the embellished neckline, it just screams tacky.

What is it with the lack of support on this red carpet?

Salma Hayek and her husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, had their second wedding this weekend.

People.com reported that Salma wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere for the actual ceremony, as she exchanged vows with Pinault, at the Venice opera house La Fenice. The bride wore her hair in a bun with a long veil, held a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals.

Her guests included Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Ashley Judd, Antonio Banderas and wife Melanie Griffith, Woody Harrelson, Edward Norton Ziyi Zhang, Philippe Starck, Stella McCartney, Lily Cole, Anna Wintour and former French President Jacques Chirac.were looking fabulous too.

Salma’s BFF Penelope Cruz arrived with her gorgeous beau Javier Bardem.

Penelope wore a Caribbean blue Gucci Spring 2009 one-sleeved gown, with gold strappy sandals, and a matching clutch.

I love Penelope here, she looks so relaxed and fresh faced.

Charlize Theron arrived wearing a Christian Dior Spring 2009 slate grey halter-neck dress, but by the time she left the dress was considerably shorter.

Either she did a quick change inside the venue, or possibly many people stepped on her gown forcing her to shorten it. Either way she looks fabulous, even with the mask.

Frida Giannini appears to have taken some tips from Donatella Versace, by modifying her Gucci Fall 2009 mini dress, into a gown for this special occasion.

Her Trib Two lookie-likie platform heels were also from her Gucci Fall 2009 collection.

Anna Wintour arrived wearing the same black and white Chanel Spring 2009 Couture dress, she’d worn earlier this year to the Extreme Beauty In Vogue Party.

I love that she is not afraid to wear the same thing twice, but I would have preferred to have seen her in something different.

The Gucci Jackie Bag maybe familiar to some of you, but the coral bag which Salma Hayek is very fond of, is the Gucci New Jackie bag.

This new bag is a larger updated version of the classic bag, which also comes in gorgeous tan colour.

The bold coloured bag would compliment an all black outfit, or a floral dress like Salma’s above.

This luxurious leather bag has hand stitched detailing, and oversized tassels, giving this handbag a bohemian look, which Mischa Barton and Sienna Miller would love.

You can add this to your closet, by purchasing it from Saks.com for $3,100.

“Marley & Me” Paris Photocall

I found it really funny that lot of you sent me the picture of Jennifer Aniston in this Balenciaga floral dress saying ‘OMG have you seen Jennifer Aniston wearing….?‘, and I share your shock.

This is now twice in a row, that the actress has brighten up the red carpet, in a colour other than black, and doesn’t she glow?

OK the brown suede Christian Louboutin Orlan double platform T-straps booties, wouldn’t be my choice to wear with a floral dress, neither would the tights, but I don’t want to criticize her too much, incase she reverts back to black.

2009 Bent on Learning Benefit, New York

It’s not usual for us to see Gwyneth Paltrow wearing such a deep berry shade lipstick, but it worked perfectly with her burgundy Jasmine di Milo one-shouldered dress.

Gwynie looks really vibrant in this dress, like she is ready to have a good time at this event. Usually I get a duty vibe from her, but not on this occasion.

She completed her look with Roger Vivier shoes and clutch.

“Good to Great Hair” Book Launch, LA

Debra Messing has recently gone through a stylist switch, after Rachel Zoe wasn’t doing her justice. Saying that I’m not sure this Bottega Veneta Spring 2009 leather belted dress is doing her any favours either.

I think the square cut neckline makes her appear broader than she is, as do those extra pieces of leather on each side.

Something more streamlined, would have suited Debra much better.

Salma Hayek’s choices continue to go downhill. The gypsy skirt is so wrong for her.

Anne Hathaway has been wowing us for the last few months, since Rachel Zoe started styling her. As a result I fallen in love with her.

As the saying goes, ‘All good things come to an end’, and her magnificent run was ruined last night, when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this black and gold Chanel Fall 2008 Couture sleeveless dress, with feather detailing and a belt to nip in her waist.

She accessorized with black Chanel pumps and Bvlgari jewels.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like the dress. Hair and make-up is gorgeous, but the dress….No. It feels too old for her.

The Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection, was not my favourite, and since Diane Kruger and Cameron Diaz fail to impress in this collection, my advice to everyone else is steer clear.

Unless of course you’re Anna Wintour, because it appears that the Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection was made for her.

Many of you have accused Amy Adams of continuing to play it safe. I would say that there’s nothing safe about this one-shoulder nude Giambattista Valli dress with a black tulle overlay.

Heather Graham wowed in this plunging red maxi dress.

I must say I forgot how beautiful she is.

I really love this ombre strapless YSL dress, with a cute bow detail on the waist. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s Salma Hayek’s style. It’s a little to cutesy for her, but I love the colour against her skin.

All the ladies were of course blinged out with Bvlgari jewels.

Beyonce Knowles and Olivia Wilde’s Reem Acra gown was not the only re-run at the Golden Globe Awards.

Salma Hayek was the first to wear this pearl Stella McCartney silk asymmetrical gown, with a beaded detail on the shoulder, when she attended an The Art Of Elysium event during November.

The actress wore her dress, with very questionable headgear.

We saw Amanda Seyfried grace the red carpet on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards wearing the same gown, which she complimented with a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

As much as I love Salma, this gown suits Amanda’s milky complexion better.

I am sure you will not be surprised to know that this dress is now sold-out on Net-A-Porter.com.
