Robert Pattinson In Dior Homme & FKA Twigs In Givenchy – ‘The Lost City of Z’ London Premiere

Robert Pattinson’s main man for ‘The Lost City of Z’ Berlin premiere may have been Charlie Hunnam, but for the London premiere on Thursday (February 16), he had a special plus-one in girlfriend, FKA Twigs, at his side.

FKA Twigs: Showcasing the striking power of a precision tailored jumpsuit, she struck a pose in a Givenchy Spring 2017 look that I loved for its sweetheart neckline fused with tougher, badass spirit. The extreme pockets at the sides, which could have gone extremely wrong, actually worked with her petite frame.

: While the actor has lately been opting for slightly more directional ensembles, he let his girl command all the style-forward attention this time out. So, he went for a traditional Dior Homme dark-navy suit.

Charlie Hunnam In Prada & Robert Pattinson In Dior Homme – ‘The Lost City of Z’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

After the photo call earlier in the day, Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson were back at it for the premiere of ‘The Lost City of Z’ on Tuesday (February 14) during the 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany.

Charlie Hunnam: Yet again the picture of classic polish, Charlie dressed up in a Prada suit styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Greggo’ shoes. Yes, it was just a black suit, but the impeccable tailoring and sleek precision elevated it to another level.

Robert Pattinson: Similar to the photo call, Robert brought a more rebellious, directional edge to balance out Charlie’s buttoned-up appeal. The Dior Homme Fall 2017 brushed fur overcoat delivered a sense of moody drama to his otherwise monochromatic look.

What they have presented here is an intriguing juxtaposition of styles—and I love it.

Robert Pattinson In Dior Homme & Charlie Hunnam In Prada – ‘The Lost City of Z’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall

Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam joined Sienna Miller at ‘The Lost City of Z’ photocall, held during the 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday (February 14).

Robert Pattinson: Exuding cool, street-style edge, the actor wore a Dior Homme black wool ribbed knit, half-zip sweater and white cotton shirt. It’s a minimalist look, but I love that he pushed the boundaries just a bit with this fresh silhouette.

Charlie Hunnam: While he opted for a significantly more standard, business suit look, Charlie was no less handsome in his blue Prada kid mohair suit accented with a notch lapel and paired with a white popeline shirt and a diagonal striped blue silk tie. The look was styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Greggo’ shoes.

Trend-forward or traditional—which look did you prefer?

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

From Mexico, New York, Leeds to Berlin, we have a host of handsome fellas in the midweek roundup.

Daniel Craig: The actor joined his glamorous co-stars for the ‘Spectre’ Mexico City premiere on Tuesday (November 2) wearing a Thom Sweeney suit. While I prefer Daniel in darker hues, I love how the pale-blue tie enhances his steely gaze.

Liam Hemsworth: For the start of the ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ promo tour, Liam wore a blue windowpane Ermenegildo Zegna three-piece suit with a burgundy polka dot tie and co-ordinated shoes adding some flare.

Jared Leto: The actor joined the Jolie-Pitts for the WSJ. Magazine 2015 Innovator Awards last night (November 4). I love that even when toning things down, Jared’s Saint Laurent Spring 2016 look still possess plenty of flare.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu & Robert Pattinson in Dior Homme

BDOTW 11 may

Fan Bingbing was the clear favourite this week wearing a breath-taking gown by Christopher Bu, who was inspired by the worldly known Chinese ancient imperial palace: the Forbidden City.

Proving that he can scrub up well when the occasion requires, Robert Pattinson looked both polished and handsome in his Dior Homme three-piece tuxedo to take the menswear prize.

2015 Met Gala Menswear Roundup

Met Men Matt

With the tidal wave of gowns and tonnes of sparkling embellishment at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), the guys’ looks were a handsome, albeit less extravagant, accessory to the girls. Rather than attempting to accomplish the Chinese theme, some of the men reverted to safer, traditional tux territory while others bravely went in the direction of the East.

Robert Pattinson: This is the Robert Pattinson I like to see—polished and handsome without losing his edgy, bad-boy charm. His elegant Dior Homme three-piece tuxedo was one of my favourite men’s looks of the night.

James Marsden: The actor infused another layer into his Ermenegildo Zegna ensemble, elevating the look with a cream jacket paired with a white tuxedo shirt and black trousers.

Matt Bomer: Showing off the power of the classics, he was dapper in a dark Giorgio Armani suit and bow tie popped with the hint of colour in his pocket square.

2015 Oscars & Vanity Fair Party Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Oscar men

The men were out in force at the 2015 Oscars and the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where there was plenty of handsome inspiration to go around from a fine group of fellows.

Jared Leto: Getting the evening started on a non-traditional note, the actor and musician was every bit the unorthodox Academy Awards dresser in his baby-blue Givenchy tux, accented by a white bowtie and white lug sole shoes. He let his hair down literally and made no excuses for it, saying that the Oscars was his going-away party for his locks. I wonder if the beard was also included in that party. While no one could pull this off like Jared, between the mane and the male pastels, this was verging on almost too much too handle.

Chris Pine: A stark contrast to Jared, Chris went for the all-out traditionally classic route and suited up in a Giorgio Armani black double-breasted peak-lapel tuxedo. It was impeccable and goes to show what transformative power a well-tailored tux can have.

David Oyelowo: Looking as if he was inspired by the red carpet itself, the ‘Selma’ actor dressed to impress in a crimson Dolce & Gabbana three-piece tuxedo word with #TackleEbola handcrafted pin by Jason of Beverly Hills. He does a great job pulling off this colour, yet I’m not completely sold on the satiny look of the vest and bowtie underneath.
