Rihanna In Adam Selman – 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

It wasn’t only Miley Cyrus who was debuting a new hairstyle on the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards on Thursday evening; Rihanna did too.

The singer, who won video of the year for her hit ‘We Found Love’, wore an Adam Selman white custom-made dress.

I haven’t seen much of the designer’s work, but from what I have seen, the range is very limited.

This is the second custom look Rihanna has worn by the designer which was white and had a knotted detail. The only significant difference on this occasion is the higher neckline.

Neil Lane jewels, Jacquie Aich rings, nude Manolo Blahnik sandals and a beautiful red lip colour completed her look.

Like Katy Perry, Rihanna went for glamour over the shock factor. Thankfully.

Rihanna In McQ Alexander McQueen – Out In London

Rihanna was spotted leaving her hotel in London yesterday afternoon, sporting her favourite Gucci USA GG Flag collection Boston bag.

The singer toned down her look, as she was headed to River Island’s HQ for a meeting to discuss her collaboration with the high-street brand.

RiRi wore all black save for her striking gold statement necklace, bold red lips and her McQ Alexander McQueen leather biker jacket.

The dark-green hue was appropriate for a dismal day, weather-wise, in the capital.

As you would expect from any McQueen piece, this urban leather jacket has something a bit extra with asymmetrical zipper details, McQ Alexander McQueen-branded studs and one flap and popper pocket.

Rihanna Loves Her…. Gucci USA GG Flag Collection Boston Bag

Rihanna may call Barbados home, but the singer has been showing her American pride by carrying Gucci’s USA GG Flag collection Boston bag.

RiRi was first spotted carrying the monogram bag featuring the USA flag displayed as an interlocking G in Beverly Hills mid August, pairing the bag with a casual look consisting of jean shorts, red sandals and an oversized military jacket.

The following week, Rihanna brought her bag out to dinner in Santa Monica, wearing another low-key outfit of a T-shirt and Bermuda shorts.

The superstar brought the stars and stripes over to London yesterday, as she was spotted carrying the bag as she touched down at Heathrow airport.

She was later spotted carrying the logo-print duffel while exiting her apartment, wearing a Kenzo hat and sweater, and Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony ‘Mary Ellen’ platform boots.

With a style setter like Rihanna so faithful to this design, it’s only a matter of time before the USA Boston nag becomes the latest ‘it’ bag.

25% of the retail price of this bag will be donated to UNICEF in support of “Schools for Africa” and “Schools for Asia” education initiatives from now through to December 31.

Rihanna In Alexander Wang – Giorgio Baldi Restaurant

Rihanna stepped out to dinner yesterday evening at Giorgio Baldi Restaurant in Santa Monica, California.

The singer was sporting a very sombre look by her standards.

A black Alexander Wang peplum top styled with black tapered pants.

The look comes alive with her choice of accessories which included Tom Ford Spring 2012 wedges, as previous worn by Beyonce, a white Prada tote and a Lanvin ‘Cameo’ necklace.

Rihanna In Marc Jacobs – ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’

Oprah Winfrey still has the power to attract big name stars for her talk show ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’.

Next up is Rihanna, who will make a guest appearance on the show airing August 19 on OWN.

In this picture we see the 24-year-old singer showing Oprah around her hometown in Barbados wearing a Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 dress.

Rihanna becomes the fifth star to wear a look from this collection following Anna Wintour, Hilary Swank, Sofia Coppola and Hailee Steinfeld, making it the most worn Resort 2013 collection so far.

The turquoise-and-raspberry v-neck maxi dress has the same floral-and-dot print which we saw as Look 2 from this collection.

Ri Ri kept the look simple by adding gold hooped earrings, a gold pendaent necklace and cat- eye sunglasses.

Rihanna In Brood – Saint-Tropez Vacation

Most stars have disappeared off the radar and retreated to exclusive resorts for the summer, but Rihanna was all too happy to share her Saint-Tropez vacation with us.

If you follow her via Twitter you’ll know that she has been showcasing her sun-kissed super-toned body on a daily basis. I’m not sure why she is bothering, considering the paparazzi are documenting her every move.

The Bajan beauty was seen soaking up the sun wearing a variety of inspiring summer pieces.

On the last day of her vacation she was spotted shopping in Monaco wearing a Brood Fall 2012 blue-and-white printed dress. This is a perfect summertime cover up, so I’m surprised that it is a Fall piece.

Lots of gold bling and a Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 transparent monogrammed bag completed her look.

Prior to that was a succession of sexy bikinis and swimsuits.

A pink Le Silla Swarovski detail two-piece bikini followed a MinkPink floral-print red one-piece swimsuit styled with Miu Miu sunglasses and a white Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 one-piece with navy-and-white striped straps.

My favourite was her Charlie by Matthew Zink ‘Adrianna’ bikini from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection. This sexy two-piece features a zig-zag-print triangle bra and bottoms with a pink print on the front and an animal print on the back.
