Reese Witherspoon In Oscar de la Renta – HBO ‘Big Little Lies’ FYC

Reese Witherspoon joined Nicole Kidman for the ‘Big Little Lies’ FYC event in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 25).

The actress may have been wearing something brand something new from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 collection, but there was something all too familiar about this look.

From the style of dress, the hair style, even the lipstick had a distinct feeling of déjà vu.

Disney’s D23 EXPO 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

Many more Disney darlings joined the likes of Anika Noni Rose, Mandy Moore and Kristen Bell for Disney’s D23 EXPO 2017 in Anaheim, California on Friday (July 14) and Saturday (July 15).

Emily Blunt: With fresh, platinum waves, the actress kept it feminine and fun in this rose-printed Dolce & Gabbana frock emboldened by the intensity of her bold lip and red-satin sandals.

Daisy Ridley: We’ve seen a number of girly frocks at the D23 EXPO thus far, so I was delighted by Daisy’s slight twist on traditional femininity in this Lela Rose ensemble. I love the mod romance of the, off-the-shoulder, bell-sleeve topped paired with the cropped trousers and quirky Pierre Hardy eye-accented shoes.

Karen Gillan: A dazzling example of a successful Miu Miu moment, this sequined peacock slip dress was just embellished enough—but far and away from overcooked territory. The metallic shoes were a great match, but I would have loved to see Karen’s locks treated as more than afterthought.

45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton

The American Film Institute’s 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton took place on Thursday (June 8). Various stars (including Rachel McAdams) took to the red carpet in Hollywood, California to celebrate the veteran actress.

Emma Stone: The ‘La La Land’ actress kept us guessing with this quirky dress from Loewe’s Fall 2017 collction. Whilst my head tells me that colour-blocking, check print, and polka dots do not belong in one look, my heart is won over. The placement of the colours works particularly well, with the check print cinching in Emma’s waist. I love the pleated skirt and Stella Luna ‘Carioca’ sandal combo too. The red-brown colour palette ties everything together into one cohesive look.

Reese Witherspoon: The exaggerated cuffs and collar on this Miu Miu dress bring some definition to what is otherwise quite an ordinary design. Reese keeps it fun and flirty with the length of this dress and her relaxed hairstyle. Overall the look is classic and chic. Irene Neuwirth jewels completed her look.

Diane Keaton: Honouree and woman of the hour, Diane Keaton, made sure all eyes were on her with a bizarre ensemble. A wide-brimmed dark hat and oversized dress coat combo dominated this look. A chunky buckled belt seemed to struggle to contain the swathes of fabric whilst Doc Marten style boots further confused the look. But hey, it was her night, and she owned her eclectic style. Top marks for originality?

NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Event

Famous faces were out in force to support Reese Witherspoon at the NET-A-PORTER x Draper James Event on Tuesday (June 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

Reese Witherspoon: The beautiful details like the organza flowers and clusters of beading take centre stage on this off-white silk and cotton-blend dress. The embodiment of southern style, Reese’s styling helped pull the look together. Summery waves and ankle tie sandals add to the charm.

Camila Alves: This shirt dress brings a smile to my face. Who doesn’t love white magnolias and soft pleats? The fit-and-flare silhouette is carried off with grace and ease by a radiant Camila. I think the boxy clutch and black sandals are too heavy for this particular look.

Jennifer Garner: Charming and fuss-free this look is incredibly inviting. There’s something warm and humorous about the pineapple print, which is echoed in the vibrant colours. The straps frame Jennifer’s shoulders and add some interest. The tousled, textured waves of the actress’s hair look great with this dress too.

Reese Witherspoon In Roland Mouret – Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Unveiling

Reese Witherspoon attended Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s double-star unveiling ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (May 4) in Hollywood, California.

Classic sophistication is what Reese does best, and it was showcased here again with her Roland Mouret dress gracefully styled with nude strappy heels.

Not only was the look rendered in the most stunning shade of purple for Reese, the cold-shoulder frock featured the designer’s signature precision tailoring with a feminine edge.

The Goldie button was such a fun—and apropos—way to finish the look.

Reese Witherspoon In Mugler – 2017 Met Gala

Reese Witherspoon hit the blue carpet of the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

The A-Lister wore a custom Mugler gown, which, unfortunately ages her a bit. I would be thrilled to see this gown on Jane Fonda or Helen Mirren, but for Reese, it just feels really mature.

I do love the striking shade or blue, and the asymmetrical sleeve drama is quite visually stimulating.

Overall, this definitely doesn’t push the fashion envelope very hard, but considering how traditionally Reese typically dresses, I think we have to give her props for getting ever-so-slightly outrageous.
