Ciara In Bally – Aquazzura Private Dinner

Ciara In Bally - Aquazzura Private Dinner

Ciara joined Nieves Alvarez at the Aquazzura cocktail party, hosted by Edgardo Osorio at Hotel Le Marois on Friday (September 26) in Paris, France.

Wearing a textured black Bally dress that was just as sombre as her pose, the songstress did spice up the look with her strappy, printed Aquazzura sandals.

The shoes—and that deep plum lip—were about all I could get excited about. The half-hidden necklace was a distracting little addition.

I’m still waiting for Ciara’s red-carpet mojo to return.

Cate Blanchett In Stella McCartney – 2014 Zurich Film Festival IWC Photo Exhibition Opening

Cate Blanchett In Stella McCartney - 2014 Zurich Film Festival IWC Photo Exhibition Opening
Cate Blanchett returned to the scene for the 2014 Zurich Film Festival IWC Photo Exhibition Opening during the Zurich Film Festival on Saturday (September 27) in Zurich, Switzerland.

The actress continued her affinity for Stella McCartney, also seen earlier this month, this time donning a textural, nubby-print blue dress from the designer’s Resort 2015 collection.

Retro with oversize tonal buttons and side pockets, the frock featured a free and easy silhouette while riffing on the midriff trend with a triangular cutout. Dark mahogany pumps also played into the vintage-inspired mood, while she completed the look with what was no doubt an IWC watch.

Perhaps it could have looked mumsy on many (or most), but Cate still managed to carry off the piece with her signature elegance and grace. And once those statement shades came off, she couldn’t have looked more radiant with her pretty pink lip.

Does she make this look work?

Emily Ratajkowski In SAFiYAA – ‘Gone Girl’ World Premiere

Emily Ratajkowski In SAFiYAA - 'Gone Girl' World Premiere

Emily Ratajkowski slinked onto the red carpet at the opening night gala presentation and world premiere of ‘Gone Girl,’ held during the 52nd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall on Friday (September 26) in New York City, where she joined Rosamund Pike and Reese Witherspoon.

The British model-actress donned a British label, strutting out a SAFiYAA Pre-Fall 2014 floor-grazing gown, where the hot red hue was only matched by the sultry silhouette.

Sexy was the name of Emily’s style game with this off-the-shoulder, body-skimming number that directed ample attention to the bust line. That said, the bodice could have fit just a bit better given its starring role here.

Letting her cleavage speak for itself, she skipped a necklace and jewels and simply completed the look with brunette bombshell waves and a glossy pink lip.

Julianne Moore In Rodarte – ‘Maps To The Stars’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore In Rodarte - 'Maps To The Stars' New York Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore attended the ‘Maps to the Stars’ premiere held during the 52nd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall on Saturday (September 27) in New York City.

The actress wore a black Rodarte Fall 2014 glitter, velvet, silk-chiffon and tulle dress enriched with Swarovski crystals.

By this point I should be stressing that this is yet another black gown from Julianne, but much like her Giambattista Valli Couture gown, this is yet another masterstroke from the actress. She looks composed and confident, oozing glamour from head to toe.

Possibly too heavy for some with the asymmetrically draped velvet fabric, I love the overall mystical direction she has taken lately.

Holland Roden In Emporio Armani – 2014 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party

Holland Roden In Emporio Armani - 2014 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party
Holland Roden also joined the starlet set at the 2014 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party with Emporio Armani, hosted on Fridya (September 26) in Los Angeles,

Like Zendaya Coleman, Holland also showed off a monochromatic Armani Fall 2014 look, hers a black tea-length jersey dress featuring a scoop neckline and dramatic drop scallop waist.

Instead of wearing the exaggerated collar neck piece from the runway, the actress added her own flash of personality via David Webb jewelry, including a pair of coral-orange statement earrings highlighted by her upswept auburn locks.

Thankfully the earrings made the cut.

They served as the only pop of colour and provided enough of a jolt to keep this ensemble on the right side of minimal, especially when finished with a black patent clutch and classic black pumps. Did you still get the sense that something was missing?
