Olivia Munn In Michael Kors – Late Show With David Letterman

Olivia Munn Michael Kors Pre-Fall

Olivia Munn was spotted leaving her apartment en route to the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City yesterday afternoon for her guest appearance on ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ to promote her Golden-Globe-winning show ‘The Newsroom’, which is currently in its second season.

The exotic beauty wore a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 strapless dress featuring a nude-and-black satin bustier and a pretty lace skirt.

I’m not a huge fan of the top half because of the black stripes but I love the streamlined silhouette of this form-fitting frock, which strikes an even balance of sexy and chic.

Nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and glossy red lips completed the look.

Opting for simple, yet sexy, the actress wore a Thakoon Resort 2014 black satin step-hem dress with side slits and a rather odd lace detail going across the bodice.

The actress was glowing, opting for neutral makeup and copper eyes, accessorizing her look with a single cuff earring and a black-and-gold clutch, with black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals providing the finishing touches.

Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Awards Honouring Hailee Steinfeld

Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Awards Honouring Hailee Steinfeld

On Tuesday evening, Max Mara hosted an evening in conjunction with W Magazine to honour Hailee Steinfeld as the Women In Film’s 2013 Face of the Future award winner. The attendees either wore Max Mara or Sportmax.

Hailee Steinfeld: The woman, or should I say girl, of the hour wore a Sportmax grey cotton-and-neoprene sleeveless dress, which she styled with a black clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Myth’ black-and-yellow sandals. For an honorary guest, the dress doesn’t stand out enough for my liking. Thankfully, the accessories – a red lip colour and youthful side-swept wavy ponytail – save the look.

Jordana Brewster: While I don’t like Jordana’s accessories, when I saw her Sportmax ‘Azulene’ white-and-orange floral-print sleeveless dress my reaction was “this is more like it”. The looks stands out; it’s fresh, colourful and perfect for the current season.

Olivia Munn: The ‘Magic Mike’ actress also grabbed by attention in her Max Mara red-and-black velvet floral-printed dress featuring a black waistband, asymmetrical peplum and side slit. What it lacks in season appropriateness (who wears velvet in summer?), it makes up in vibrancy and ultra femininity. Like Jordana, the styling is way off track. The gold clutch gets a pass, but the grey Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ heels get a hell no: mostly because of the colour, but I thought we had finally seen the back of these pumps.

Olivia Munn was looking very chic on Thursday evening when she attended the 2013 Television Academy Honors held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress, who currently stars in ‘The Newsroom’, wore a J. Mendel Spring 2013 frock.

Her cream sleeveless dress with a draped neckline features a contrasting pale-pink back for a surprising twist.

Metallic-gold-and-blush Christian Louboutin ‘Corpus’ pumps and a blush-pink Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch styled her look, which Olivia finished off with a chic bun, and Neil Lane diamond bracelets adding some bling to her wrists.

Olivia Munn In Marchesa – 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Olivia Munn In Marchesa - 2013 White House Correspondents' Association DinnerAfter bringing a shot of sunny yellow to the Time 100 Gala, Olivia Munn walked a darker line at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, hosted last night at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.

‘The Newsroom’ actress played her own political game here, appealing to two sides of fashion—the refined and the razzle-dazzle—with her Marchesa design.

On the one hand, this was just a simple black dress. On the other, the elaborately embellished bib collar brought a bolt of gleam to the otherwise plain-Jane gown.

With the waterfall of sparkle, Olivia didn’t need a glut of accessories.

She polished off the look with a Marchesa clutch and a simple drop earring, paired with a sleek top-knot and bronze glow.

Too much or just enough?

Olivia Munn In Michael Kors - 2013 Time 100 Gala

Olivia Munn took to the red carpet for the 2013 Time 100 Gala, held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress lit up the red carpet, wearing a bold-hued canary-yellow Michael Kors Spring 2013 lace strapless gown with an elegant train.

I love how she kept the accessories to a minimum, opting only for a single gold cuff.

A natural radiant glow and super-sleek tresses completed her look.

I would neither add to nor take away anything from this look. She is utter perfection here.
