Red Carpet Fashion Awards

With Kristen Stewart in Madrid and Ashley Greene in New York, Nikki Reed headed to Norway for the Oslo premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ at the Colosseum yesterday evening with co-star Jackson Rathbone.

The actress was radiant, wearing a Naeem Khan Resort 2013 gown.

The navy halter gown featured a delightful fringed, beaded bodice, and Nikki styled it with a gold clutch.

This would’ve been my favourite look of the three actresses last night had the styling been better.

The gold Swarovski clutch provides too much of a stark contrast against her dress. I would’ve preferred something simple.

My second issue is her hair. That bodice is stunning; why cover most of it with your hair?

Nikki Reed joined her co-stars, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene, on the red carpet on Monday night for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ premiere, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

In Nikki’s interview with us she did say that she was going to wear designers she has never worn before, and that was true in this case as she wore a gorgeous Versace gown.

Her light-grey strapless gown with silver embellishments outlining a corset, was styled with a silver Judith Leiber metallic box clutch.

Further complementary accessories included dazzling diamond earrings and rings.

A side-parted bun and flawless makeup completed her look.

All three ladies were on fire on this occasion. It will be hard to pick a favourite.

Twilight star Nikki Reed looked gorgeous in her winter white Vanessa Bruno embellished shift and silver metallic Giuseppe Zanotti heels at the launch of her Mattlin Era jewelry line at Los Angeles’ famous Fred Segal boutique on Melrose Avenue Friday night.

Not only did the delicately hammered silver and gold gems in the starlet’s capsule collection ($28-$97.50) catch our eye, so did the trinkets that adorned her little white dress, especially the ones all around her skirt—how does it feel to sit in the number with all of that back there? “It’s interesting on the butt,” the actress graciously explained. “It doesn’t hurt. The whole car ride here, I just kept thinking, What am I sitting on?”

Read on to learn more about the brunette’s new jewelry line, which is a collaboration with Pascal Mouawad (the same man who partnered with Nicole Richie for House of Harlow 1960), her favorite red carpet moment ever and what she’s planning to wear to the upcoming premieres for the final installment in the Twilight film series.

On her passion for designing jewelry: There are so many creative people in my family. Everyone is an artist to one extent or another. My grandmother, whom my line is named after, was a jewelry designer. She makes ceramic tile murals. My brother is a photographer. My dad was an architect and is now a set designer. There was just art everywhere, and I grew up making jewelry. My mother and I made jewelry together. That was actually my first way of making money as a kid. That was my first job when I was in the third grade. Not to make it a sob story, but I just grew up really poor. I worked at the cafeteria and got free lunches. Then, I made bracelets at home and sold them for $3. That was my first source of income.

On how involved she was in the process: This has been a long time coming for me. I didn’t want anyone to design a line and hand it to me with my name on it. That’s actually easier to do nowadays instead of going in and asking to do it myself. I really fought for this. I brought all of my sketches to the meeting. I showed them every theme I wanted to explore and they helped me narrow it down. This line came from me and my family. Read more…

Nikki Reed was also out promoting ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ today in New York City, as she was spotted outside the Today show prior to her guest appearance.

The actress kept warm wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2012 coat.

Her black double-breasted textured coat with leather cuffs and a black leather panel at the bodice with gold buttons, doesn’t quite work for me.

I think I would’ve appreciated it more less rigid and unbuttoned.

The actress wore taupe pants and black Jimmy Choo ‘ Mercury’ ankle boots.

Nikki Reed was at the Vue West End in London yesterday evening for a photocall for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ with co-star Kellan Lutz.

Just recently I said I was starting to enjoy Nikki’s red-carpet looks, but then she does a 180 on me.

So far her start to this promo tour has been less than exciting.

This Skaist Taylor dress with a plunging neckline and pleated skirt is cute enough I guess, but she pretty much blends into the background.

Thankfully her Ferragamo lace-up sandals grab my attention, because nothing else did.

‘Twilight’ stars Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed attended a fan event in Glasgow, Scotland, where they signed autographs and talked to fans, ahead of the release of ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ next month.

Nikki wore a cream Dolce & Gabbana drop-waist dress with a black lace hemline and black satin bow accent around the neckline.

The look was complemented with a pair of Rupert Sanderson ‘Flamente’ sandals.

Signature tousled wavy locks and glossy lips completed her look.

The final instalment of the ‘Twilight’ movie premieres in the UK on November 14.

Nikki Reed helped 7 For All Mankind and Step Up Women’s Network celebrate their ‘A Stepped Up Affair’ at a lavish dinner party held at Cecconi’s Restaurant in LA on Wednesday.

The ‘Twilight’ star opted for all-black with the statement piece being her black blazer with velvet lapels and gold embroidery, which she wore with a black tee and shiny leather pants — all by 7 For All Mankind.

Miu Miu black pumps and Mattlin Era jewels accessorized her look.

A low ponytail with wavy loose tendrils and a light pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.
