Nicole Kidman In Valentino – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Nicole Kidman looked radiant on the red carpet for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, where she was awarded Best Actress in a Movie Made for TV or a Limited Series for ‘Big Little Lies’.

The actress gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Valentino Fall 2018 collection wearing this hot pink creation by Pierpaolo Piccioli.

I love the sense of romance which is enhanced by the delicate ruffles and the semi-sheer fabrication, but it the unexpected bold colour which really captivated me.

Nicole Kidman collected her third award of the weekend, when she took home the Best Actress In A Mini-series or Motion Picture for TV her work in ‘Big Little Lies’, at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in LA.

The Australian actress gave us a sneak preview of Clare Waight Keller’s debut Spring 2018 Haute Couture collection for Givenchy, wearing a bewitching black gown.

Her look was quite a stunning take on contemporary glamour, oozing all the elegance and sophistication we would expect from Nicole.

I love how the lace embroidered bodice has a sensual impact while the streamlined skirt creates a dramatic effect.

Fred Leighton jewels added a touch more majesticity to the look.

Nicole Kidman In Carolina Herrera & Louis Vuitton – 7th AACTA International Awards & Golden Globes Party

We may be at the start of awards season, but Nicole Kidman is already collection many awardds.

7th AACTA International Awards: Nicole picked up the AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Lion’ and the AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actress in a TV Drama for ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ on Friday (January 5) wearing a pretty Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 gown. I know some of you don’t like it when Nicole goes super girlie, but I love how this look is brimming with charm and femininity.

GOLD MEETS GOLDEN Party: On Saturday (January) Nicole turned cocktail hour into a very prim and conservative affair . I love the ’90s lingerie-inspired feel of her Louis Vuitton silk dress which becomes very understated when styled with the Louis Vuitton blazer. Simple black pumps and a LV bucket bag completed her look.

Nicole Kidman in Gabriela Hearst – The New York Times Magazine Celebrates ‘The Great Performers Issue’ 2017

Nicole Kidman attended The New York Times Magazine Celebrates ‘The Great Performers Issue’ 2017 on Thursday (December 7) in LA.

Gabriela Hearst has become a celebrity favourite this year, with stars drawn to the designers refined, practical chic pieces.

Nicole’s Spring 2018 navy dress is beautiful in its simplicity, yet defined by panels of intricate pleats and a semi sheer skirt which creates an irregular silhouette while adding airy movement.

My stance over white shoes has soften over the years, but on this occasion I will not be handing out any passed to Mrs Kidman-Urban.

Unfortunately this pair is too stark and the ankle strap feels too fussy for this style of dress.

Another case of great from the calf’s up.

An Evening Honoring Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquière

‘An Evening Honoring’… an annual fundraising event for the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, paid tribute to Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière with ‘The Women’s Leadership Award’ on Thursday (November 30) in New York City.

The award was presented by Jennifer Connelly, to celebrate his many years of excellence in the fashion industry.

As you’d expect, the same list of ladies, and gents, who’ve shown their support for recent LV events were in attendance, plus Nicole Kidman.

Ruth Negga: Of the winged trio here, Ruth is the most successful at pulling off this Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 look. Dreamy in parts with a sheer and leather overlay giving the look an edge, there really is nothing she can’t pull off.

Michelle Williams: The actress perhaps went with the most safest interpretation of this Spring 2018 look, and I have a feeling many will consider this a tad washed out and too one note. I think that she looks really pretty, and to be honest, I’m glad she played it safe. Complicated LV styles overwhelm her in my opinion.

Jennifer Connelly: While I will tip my hat and have huge admiration for Jennifer for going with probably the trickiest look in the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 collection, my feeling is she has bitten off a little more than she could chew here. There’s way too much going on, and it doesn’t feel as cohesive as the other two ladies.

Nicole Kidman In Altuzarra – 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Nicole Kidman was honored with the Actress Tribute Award for her contributions to the film industry at the 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 27), joining the ranks of past winners Helen Mirren and Tilda Swinton.

The actress dazzled in an Altuzarra Spring 2018 dress which is quite a show-stopper. So much so, that it’s likely to out-shines any disco ball.

I love the baroque-inspired romance imbued in the bodice, juxtaposed with the ultra sassy black Chloe Gosselin ‘Bryonia’ sandals.

Nicole’s hair was full of glossy waves with natural makeup rounding out her uber cool, yet chic look.

Nicole Kidman In Olivier Theyskens – 2017 American Music Awards

Nicole Kidman joined husband Keith Urban for the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA.

Some might say that this Olivier Theyskens Spring 2018 dress was a desperate attempt to “hang” with the AMA crowd, but I think Nicole totally rocks this sexier look.

The actress has always been one to make a effort and do something a bit different for music awards ceremonies, which I fully appreciate, as we know she can do glamour like no other.

Giuseppe Zanotti over-the-knee boots completed her gorgeous look.
