Nicole Kidman In Valentino – ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman has been experimenting with looks ranging from romantic to classic on red carpets of late. At ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Saturday (September 9), she opted for a maximalist approach.

She donned a Valentino Resort 2018 maxi gown which complemented her statuesque beauty.

The heavily-detailed dress was tempered by simple hair, soft pink lipstick and Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals.

Some might wish that Nicole wore her hair up to fully reveal the details on the bodice, but I thought the effortless waves worked with the dress’s bohemian flair.

Nicole Kidman In Oscar de la Renta – ‘The Upside’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

After a couple brushes with her frou-frou, princess side, Nicole Kidman was back to more streamlined, feminine glamour at the premiere of ‘The Upside’ during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival on Friday (September 8).

The actress donned an Oscar de la Renta dress, notable for the elegant allure of its ruffle neckline and fit-and-flare silhouette.

The actress accessorised with the classic girl’s best friend, diamonds, to complete her little black dress along with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Nicole Kidman In Christian Dior Couture – NGV Gala

Nicole Kidman attended the NGV Gala on Saturday (August 26) in Melbourne, Australia.

Following Nicole’s last red carpet look, it’s apparent that the majority of you aren’t fans of her going down the princess route, so I’m keen to know your thoughts on this frothy Dior Fall 2017 Couture gown.

I love Nicole’s style and I never met a princess gown I didn’t love, yet this look feels like a costume from Disney movie.

I’m also struggling to like the belt worn with this look.

Nicole Kidman In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ Sydney Premiere

Nicole Kidman was back on the red carpet for the ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ premiere held at Sydney Opera House today (August 1) in Australia.

Channelling her inner ballerina, the actress wore a dainty dress from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2017 Couture collection, which sees her stick to a neutral hue.

I know reader Meme will be disappointed to see yet another frou frou dress from Nicole, and some might think she raided Elle Fanning’s closet while they were promoting ‘The Beguiled’, but I absolutely adore how precious this look is, even though I wish she’d opted for a different belt; considering her gold Jimmy Choo sandals.

Both her hair and makeup up are exquisite here.

You’ll get no complaints from me.

‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ – Television Critics Association Press Tour

The 2017 Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour brought out four femmes behind ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ for a panel discussion on Saturday (July 29) in Beverly Hills, California.

Elisabeth Moss: I always find myself slightly underwhelmed by Elisabeth’s style, as I think she often dresses too maturely. This Camilla and Mark pleated frock fell somewhat in that category, although the brighter colour and print was a step in the right direction. However, the high neckline isn’t the most flattering or youth-achieving for her.

Gwendoline Christie: While Gwendoline’s 6’3” height will always command attention, I was bored with her choice of menswear-inspired ensembles as she can do so much more with her statuesque form than this standard-issue silk blouse and black trousers uniform.

Nicole Kidman: With a rosy outlook, Nicole donned a dainty Rochas Resort 2018 embroidered ruffle dress. I always like seeing her channel a softer, feminine side, but the illusion neckline and overbearing sleeves quickly ruined me on this prairie frock.

Alice Englert: Marching to the beat of her own style drum, Alice kept it quirky and casual in her plaid shirt and boyfriend jeans, topped off with sculpted teal sandals for a style-rebel look that certainly made no apologies.

Clearly, there was no fashion pow-wow prior to this panel, given this highly eclectic, motley mix of looks.

Nicole Kidman In Proenza Schouler – HBO ‘Big Little Lies’ FYC

Nicole Kidman was a vision in all-black for the ‘Big Little Lies’ FYC event in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 25).

Following her reservations about her ‘Love’ magazine cover, the actress opted for a sheer Proenza Schouler Resort 2018 top and lace skirt which sees her continue down flirtatious path while having fun with fashion.

The level of sheerness might put off some, because we all know the sheer trend has been done to death, but I’m applauding “something new” from the actress.

I’m also applauding her wavy tresses, as there was a period without finesse.
