Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Naomi Watts In Erdem - 2nd Annual 25 Most Powerful Stylists LuncheonNaomi Watts just whirled through a successful 2013 awards season—at least when it came to her red-carpet style—and she continued her consistent, sophisticated run at ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ and Jimmy Choo’s 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon on Wednesday in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an Erdem Resort 2013 abstract floral-print dress in shades of Venetian blue, smartly paired with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and a matching nude Valentino ‘Rockstud’ clutch.

We’ve previously seen Jessica Chastain and Gemma Arterton in looks from Erdem Moralioglu’s floral-focused collection.

But who can argue with this scoop-neck frock that’s ladylike and lovely, especially with Naomi’s fresh, new wavy bob.

The modish mastermind orchestrating Naomi’s ultra-sleek looks? Her stylist, Jeanann Williams, whose clients also include Emily Mortimer, Ryan Hastings and Robert Pattinson.

Naomi Watts Awards Season

Naomi Watts’ red carpet run during awards season was, for me, the most enjoyable and most consistent.

She kick-started her ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ campaign for ‘The Impossible’, wearing a stunning Alexander McQueen gown at the People’s Choice Awards, before going sexy in Pucci at the Critics’ Choice Awards the following evening.

My favourite look had to be her Golden Globes Zac Posen gown, from the colour to the drama it brought to the red carpet, with other notable looks including her Marchesa gown at the SAG Awards and Prive gown on Oscar night.

LV FROW

The Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 presentation took place in Paris, France this afternoon, with stars wearing pieces from Spring 2013 and Pre-Fall 2013 collections.

Fan Bingbing: The Asian beauty took her front row seat wearing the same black-and-white chequered-flag-print dress we saw on Jessica Alba. I love the retro ‘do and the edge she brings to the look via her leather half gloves. A cream LV bag and stacked peep-toes complete her look. This is the 19th chequered look to hit the red carpet.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress gave us a more interesting look, wearing a black-and-red floral-print look from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. Her patent black pumps work well on this occasion, with a chic top-handle LV bag and a red-hot pout and plenty of attitude completing her FROW look. You may remember that Michelle Williams wore these same pants recently.

Lily Collins: Looking totally adorable in her gold-and-black Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013 dress with a black pointy collar, the actress styled her look with a lusty worthy LV top-handle bag, a top-knot and black pumps.

Naomi Watts: After wearing a selection of high-glamour looks during awards season, Naomi scaled things back this morning by wearing a simple white shift dress from the Spring 2013 collection with a white coat. I love the mint-green tote, but I dislike the black pumps with a passion with this look.

Naomi Watts In Emilio Pucci - 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Naomi Watts sparkled all night on Sunday, wearing her second beaded look at the 2013 Vanity Fair party held at Sunset Tower in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2013 one-sleeve asymmetrical dress with black-and-gold panels, which she styled with a Chloe ‘Bella’ clutch from the Spring 2013 collection, and a silver cuff which didn’t work for me.

She has had an amazing awards season, despite not picking up any major honours.

Did she go out on a high, or did you not love this 70s-disco-inspired look?

Naomi Watts literally sparkled as she made her way down the red carpet at the 2013 Oscars, hosted at the Dolby Theater, on Sunday evening.

To celebrate her nomination in ‘The Impossible’ Naomi opted for a custom Armani Privé gown. The grey-ish, silver-y sequin gown was a perfect combination of stunning and sexy. Naomi definitely stood out on the red carpet in this beautiful one-shoulder cutout design.

The fully sequined gown called for minimal accessories, and Naomi piled on just the right about of bling with an eye-catching bracelet, cocktail ring, and diamond drop earrings.

The actress knows a good hairstyle that works: the slightly messy updo. The volume of her hair, rosy cheeks and light pink lip complimented the metallic gown perfectly.
