Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Mischa Barton attended the launch of the Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve at Whisky Mist in London last night.

The actress wore her second Temperley London gown in a row; this time she selected a piece from the Fall 2012 collection.

I loved this sleek, long-sleeved, black satin gown with cold-shoulders and gold-beaded cuffs on the runway, but it loses its appeal on Mischa.

She doesn’t give me the feeling that she put much effort into this.

The fit feels off – but that could just be her pose – and the uninspired styling pulls down what could’ve been an amazing look.

Mischa Barton celebrated Independence Day at the launch of Aston Martin Vanquish at the London Film Museum on Wednesday.

The actress/designer wore a Temperley London Spring 2012 gown.

Her ivory silk-crepe gown with crystal embellishments is a show-stopping choice.

I love the cutout shoulders which gives this a vintage-inspired feel.

Unfortunately it falls a bit flat on Mischa.

Maybe it’s the makeup, maybe it’s her hair covering most of the detail, or maybe it’s because she decided to style this gorgeous dress with those hideous Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ cork pumps.

It could just be all of the above. What do you think?

I can’t say I am much a fan of Mischa Barton’s style, but she did look very pretty whilst attending the annual Serpentine Gallery summer party held in Hyde Park, London, on Tuesday evening.

Dressed in a floor-sweeping Luisa Beccaria Spring 2012 gown, I would say this is the best she has looked in a very long while.

Her lightly lemon ruffled frock with a sheer yoke was styled with a shoulder bag, which I wish she’d carried as a clutch, a bold red lip colour, and a chic updo.

As much as I think this is an improvement style-wise, the gown would’ve looked better for me with the runway belt.

Hit or miss?

Mischa Barton opted for lots of texture and volume when she arrived on the red carpet for the 2011 Shanghai International Film Festival opening ceremony this weekend.

Her black tulle gown with a feathered neckline and embellished waistband was beautifully contrasted with bright red heels.

I can’t quite decide if I like this gown or hate it.

It’s very interesting, but I don’t think Mischa’s wearing it with much conviction.

Plus she should’ve worn her hair up with this look considering the neckline.

I’m sure many of you will ask, but I have no idea why she was there either.

At this current rate Mischa Barton will receive the Comeback Kid of 2011 Award.

It’s amazing how she’s turned herself around from the disheveled mess she was last year.

Last night she looked beautiful wearing a Paule Ka Black Carpet dress as she headed to the “Flash Trash” Jewelry Launch party which was held at Sketch in London.

Her white dress with a black sleeve and shoulder ruffle details was paired with orange Paula Ka wedges and a black Paule Ka clutch.

With her blonde hair swept to one side I think it’s safe to say she back to her pre/post-OC best.
