Red Carpet Fashion Awards

On Friday evening at the Stella McCartney boutique in LA, Paul McCartney hosted the premiere of ‘My Valentine’, which he directed, with his daughter Stella, who outfitted the guests on the night.
Here are the best dressed on the night. The ones who I didn’t like will follow later.

Miranda Kerr: The supermodel wore a dress from Stella McCartney’s Spring 2012 collection. The model, wisely, opted for a solid black version of the runway dress which still has the curvilinear embroidered and the mesh panel inserts above and on the waistline. I love the Stella McCartney yellow faux-python clutch, but the black pumps are really anonymous. She could’ve punched up the look with black sexy sandals, yellow pumps or gold sandals to complement the gold hardware on her clutch.

Gwen Stefani: The singer nailed her look wearing a chic Stella McCartney Fall 2011 black silk jumpsuit with sheer panels and a peplum waist which I prefer to the runway version with polka dots. She teamed her jumpsuit with a Kelly Wearstler perforated clutch and black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps which work so well on this occasion. A twisted top knot and her signature smouldering red lip colour completed her look. She was easily one of the best on the night.

Jordana Brewster: The actress donned a two-tone Stella McCartney Spring 2012 mini dress with a swirling embroidered detail which we have already seen on Salma Hayek. With her ombre hair tumbling down her shoulders, she completed her look with a blue faux-leather ‘Falabella’ clutch and two-tone faux-leather sandals.

Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving a grocery store looking model perfect – as always – in LA on Monday.

She wore a very vibrant look which consisted of a neon-pink Monrow crew neck sweatshirt which she teamed with Isabel Marant ‘Marcel’ tie-dye shorts with patch pockets.

Her downtown-chic accessories included an Alexander Wang ‘Diego’ textured bucket bag and Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ ankle boots.

DITA Condor sunglasses provided the finishing touches.

I don’t know how she manages to look this good all the time.

The model has been spotted carrying her Alexander Wang ‘Diego’ bag on several other occasions.

Do you share her Miranda’s obsession with this bag?

You can do by buying the bag from Net-A-Porter US.
Net-A-Porter International has the bag in black, and Shopbop.com has the bag in a variety of colours including citrus yellow, tangy tangerine and black with rose-gold hardware.

Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving her apartment earlier this week with her pooch wearing yet another uber chic street-style look.

The paparazzi snapped our street-style queen wearing an Isabel Marant Navajo-print top from the Fall 2011 collection with a simple chic black blazer and a distressed denim short skirt.

She accessorized her look with cool shades, Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ suede ankle boots and a black Miu Miu shoulder bag.

Those Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ boots continue to be a celebrity favourite.

Continuing to enjoy the warm weather in New York City, Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving an office building on Tuesday afternoon.

Firmly holding onto her title of best street style, Miranda tried out the latest trend of printed pants in a pair of leopard-print Current/Elliot jeans.

To offset the wild print, Miranda topped off the pants with a simple white tee and an edgy, but neutral, grey-and-black motorcycle-inspired Dries Van Noten caplet.

Black flats, a large burgundy carry-all and cat-eye shades completed the look.

Just once I’d like to see this girl look imperfect.

You can buy Miranda’s Dries Van Noten jacket from farfetch.com
and her Current/Elliott jeans from Shopbop.com.

Miranda Kerr was spotted out in New York City enjoying the warm weather on Monday afternoon.

Every supermodel knows that the key to perfecting street style, is adding one or two standout pieces to classic basics.

On this occasion Miranda dressed up skinny jeans, a black tee and Tabitha Simmons ankle boots with a geometric print Marni Resort 2012 coat and a burgundy Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton bag.

RayBan aviators provide the perfect finishing touch.

This is why Miranda won the award for Best Street Style of 2011.

If only we always looked so put together when stepping out.

Miranda Kerr graces two covers of the latest HauteMuse magazine wearing a Jenny Packham embellished dress on one and a sequined Pamella Roland jacket on the other, which were both shot by Nino Muñoz.

In her interview, the Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel talks about motherhood, how she snapped back into shape after having her baby Flynn a year ago, her marriage to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom and how she won’t model forever.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On motherhood: “It’s the best thing that I’ve ever done. He is my pride and joy and he’s the most important thing. It’s really wonderful.”

On regaining her figure so quickly after giving birth: “It’s been a lot of yoga and Pilates, and eating healthily. It does take hard work.”

On allowing herself treats: “If you want to have a little indulgence every now and then, then that’s okay. Sometimes I’ll feel like some dark chocolate or sometimes I’ll feel like some French fries.”

On falling in love with Orlando Bloom: “We were friends for at least six months first after we met, so it was a very nice way to start. Romance followed friendship.”

On modelling: “It could all stop tomorrow with modelling; it really wouldn’t faze me. It’s not going to be around forever and that’s okay because I have so many other things that I want to do in my life.”
