Michelle Obama In Vera Wang – The 34th Kennedy Center Honors

The belle of the ball at the 34th Annual Kennedy Center Honors last night was Michelle Obama.

She looked divine wearing a gorgeous strapless Vera Wang custom gown.

FLOTUS once again upstaged the President in this cobalt tulle gown with accentuating bias drape and a tiered skirt with feathered organza accents.

The bold blue hue and statement jewels ensured that all eyes were on her.

She always make my heart melt.

Michelle Obama In Reed Krakoff – Pritzker Architecture Prize Ceremony

Michelle Obama continues to give awe inspiring looks no matter what the occasion may be.

At the Pritzker Architecture Prize Ceremony at Andrew Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC yesterday she looked beautiful wearing a Reed Krakoff Spring 2011 halter dress.

From the runway I wouldn’t have picked this for Michelle, but a few adjustments like replacing the low slung belt to sit on the empire waist and we have a FLOTUS worthy look.

The cobalt jersey gown was paired with some champagne coloured heels.

I love her constant rotation of designers. She can never be accused of being boring.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Michelle Obama In Ralph Lauren & Jessica Chastain In Roland Mouret

You loved Michelle Obama in Ralph Lauren above all others this week.

This proves that despite some of the harsh (unnecessary) criticisms about her weight, that she’s still very much a style icon in our eyes as she’s rarely beaten in these polls.

Whilst I fully agree with your choice, I opted for Jessica Chastain in Roland Mouret.

Since I billed her as one-to-watch back in December last year, I haven’t been that excited about her red carpet looks.

That all changed at “The Tree of Life” LA Premiere when she hit the red carpet glowing in Persian green Roland Mouret gown.

FLOTUS (The First Lady Of The United States) was impeccably well-dressed all week.

She really turns things up a notch during state visits.

This week she was in Ireland and the UK, showcasing both American and British designers.

My personal favourites from this week were her Preen, Ralph Lauren and Peter Som ensembles.

Michelle Obama In Peter Som – Stansted Airport

Everyday my girl (woman) crush on Michelle Obama grows.

She looked divinely elegant earlier today when she was spotted with her husband Barack Obama, as they arrived at Stansted Airport near London.

The couple were enroute to France for a G8 summit.

Michelle wore a Peter Som Fall 2010 pink ombré jacquard sheath dress and coat.

I love the brooch detail which holds her coat together.

Minus the white gloves, I think her accessories have been impeccable and perfectly complement each look during this trip.

The First Lady opted to match her patent pumps with her look, plus she added a navy tote with gold hardware.

A chic updo and drop earrings completed the look.

Michelle Obama In Ralph Lauren – Royal Dinner

President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama hosted a dinner for the Queen at Winfield House, the residence of the Ambassador of the United States of America, in Regent’s Park this evening dressed in their finest eveningwear after a long day of visits, politics, hand-shaking, motivational speaking and meetings.

Michelle looked stunning wearing a Ralph Lauren Fall 2011 elegant black gown with a portrait neckline.

The black satin wrap around bodice is met by a long black crepe skirt.

Not many people can out bling the Queen, but Mrs O does wearing a breath-taking necklace with a matching bracelet and an emerald ring.

I prefer this Ralph Lauren gown to the Tom Ford gown as it more dramatic and sophisticated.
