Lucy Liu looks stunning wearing this steel blue fringed Alberta Ferretti Spring 2009 cocktail dress, with a polka dotted satin layer underneath. The dress is adorned with jeweled embellishments on the shoulders and a grey sash at the waist.

She completes her look with a Roger Vivier clutch and nude Jimmy Choo ‘Idol’ platform heels.

She now leaves me in a dilemma as to which dress I should put her up for Best Dressed this week.

Melissa George wears the Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall 2008 chunky cardigan/dress I was drooling over when it was presented earlier this year.

Nicole Richie wore an ivory Alberta Ferretti Spring 2007 gown which draped beautifully on her. The dress appears to have a lace detail, or it could just be a camisole or her bra peeking through.

She completes her look with a splash painted clutch.

Not only do I adore the colour of this turquoise dress on Sanaa Lathan, but I also love her ivory statement necklace.

Marisa Tomei also wore an ensemble from the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2009.

Like Lucy’s dress, Marisa pine green skirt was also fringed.

Love that sparkling clutch.

Nicky Hilton arrived with her boyfriend, wearing a harlequin black and steel grey Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti sequined tank dress with black patent Christian Louboutin heels.

I wish one day she would do something different with her hair.

Elisha Cuthbert’s jewel black strappy sandals compliments her black velvet dress which is studded with silver crystals.

January Jones shows off her very long legs wearing an ivory paillette covered Alberta Ferretti mini dress.

Ali Larter didn’t manage to top her Ungaro look of earlier in the week, but she did look very sophisticated in her plunging navy satin Alberta Ferretti sheath dress

Emmy Rossum opted for a light blue chiffon one-shouldered Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti empire-waist dress with lavender square toe heels.

The heels ruin the look.

Amy Smart put on this gorgeous turquoise Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti crisscross satin dress, but her hair and make-up let her down a tad.

Hollywood Life’s Behind the Camera Awards, LA

The delectable Lucy Liu took to the red carpet last night wearing a wearing a vintage pleated tulle ruffled and black knitted patchwork Christian Lacroix Haute Couture dress.

She completed her look with Gilan jewelry, YSL Trib Two pumps and a red Roger Vivier clutch.

Evan Rachel Wood lightens her wardrobe since her reported split with Marilyn Manson, wearing a gold satin sheath dress.

Lupus LA’s 6th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon, LA

I know a lot of you feel like Mischa Barton should get a job, but I feel that being on the red carpet is her job, because lets face it she can’t really act.

Mischa is wearing a strapless Monique Lhuillier Fall 2008 cocktail dress with a embellished bodice and a feathered skirt.

She completes her look with a pair of gold heels and a gold leaf detailed hair accessory.

Hollywood Dominoes: VIP Launch, London

I do have a soft spot for Sienna Miller, despite her the tabloid stories. She always look like she is having fun, and she dresses well for ever occasion.

Here she wore a slate grey mini Preen dress, which had a lace up detail at the back.

She completed her look with tights, black booties and a B. Romanek clutch.

“Kung Fu Panda” DVD Release, LA

Angelina Jolie has already snapped back to her svelvte self, and she shows off her great leg and stunning figure wearing a Ralph Lauren Resort 2009 black mini dress, with Stuart Weitzman nude shoes.

4th Annual A Fine Romance To Benefit The Motion Picture & Television Fund, New York

Every time I see Catherine Zeta Jones on the red carpet, I lose a bit of hero worship for her. She use to always wow me on the red carpet, but even with all that embellishment on her Reem Acra gown, she does not shine for me.

Amy Adams gets better and better on the red carpet. She always picks the right dress and the right colours.

The 14th Annual Make-A-Wish Ball, Miami

Kim Kardashian style transformation is nothing short of a miracle. What is even more miraculous is that she is keeping it up.

This olive one-shoulder gown is just spectacular on her and her make-up is flawless.

She is definitely on the most improved list with Beyonce.

Manolo Blahnik Receives Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style Award, LA

Lucy Liu wore a black and white printed Giambattista Valli Resort 2009 dress.

This is fast becoming Lucy’s designer of choice.

She wore her hair up, which allowed the paillettes detailed neckline of the dress to stand out, as well as her Garrard square cut black white gold earrings.

Her Blahnik’s were embellished with jeweled details on the side.

Hilary Duff wore peep-toe Blahnik booties with her a multi coloured floral Chloe blouse and a bandage Herve Leger black skirt.

Dania Ramirez arrived wearing a knock-out dress by Bradley Bayou. The actress looked stunning in the one shoulder cocktail dress with asymmetrical panels.

“Living Proof” Premiere, Washington

Renee Zellweger’s stunning steel blue Carolina Herrera Fall 2008 dress was embellished with rosettes and feathers.

“Rachel Getting Married” Screening, New York

Anne Hathaway wore a black Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 dress, which was only on the runway 3 weeks ago. Damn she is so lucky.

The star was clinched in at the waist with a gold chain belt.

Her platform heels with those cute little bows, are also from Marc’s Spring 2009 collection.

End Of Summer Ball In Berkeley Square, London

British actress Naomi Harris, was dazzling in her white gown.

TV presenter Tess Daly wore a strapless chartreuse Donna Karan Fall 2007 gown. She teamed her gown with a gold clutch.

Actress/model Tamsin Egerton kept it simple in a white haltered Amanda Wakeley Fall 2008 gown with a black band on the empire-waist and black straps.

Hilary Swank has an amazing body, so it’s no wonder she looks so fantastic in this Marchesa Fall 2008 strapless gown, but I just don’t think her hairstyle suits this dress.

Lucy Liu’s black and white floral printed silk Balenciaga dress, was simple, yet very elegant.

She completes her look with those YSL tribute pumps, that do not seem to be going out of fashion, and a black clutch.

Ali Larter stood out the most, with her blue and white printed strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with a pleated skirt.

She used blue eye shadow to compliment the vibrant blue on her dress.

I would expect this strapless animal print mini dress, to be worn by Kim Kardashian or Melanie Brown, and not Hayden Panettiere.

Nothing appeals to me about this dress at all, apart from her gold Swarovski box clutch.

I love the black belted Julian MacDonald Fall 2008 dress, with a sequined bodice and ruffled skirt. I also love Christina Aguilera’s Miu Miu heels, but she needs to stop impersonating Elvis with the lip curl.

I know she thinks it is sexy, but I think its hilariously ridiculous and I wish she would stop it.

I love the dark olive colour of Kate Walsh’s Jenny Packham dress, but I am not so crazy about the sheer panels.

I think the majority of us believed that August 2008 Harper’s Bazaar cover girl Jessica Biel editorial was a great idea, but wish they had chosen someone else to execute it better.

I think Alicia summed it up best when she said:

“I do love the uniqueness of the designers included in the photos, but I wish they had chosen someone with more style than Jessica Biel.”

Agreed, but thanks to Lucy Liu, all is not lost. My girl of the moment looked amazing in her Olympic theme photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar. And I am sure most of you will agree with the mixture of Spring 2008 Couture, Fall 2008 Ready-to-wear, and the athletic theme, Lucy TOTALLY rocks this shoot. In fact I think she should have been the cover girl for this issue.

On the eve of the games in Beijing, Lucy Liu demonstrates that it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you’re dressed that counts.

Here is her stunning editorial. My particular favourites are were accessories are used as props like the silver Chanel bag used as a hammer, and the Gucci bags used as weights.

Thanks Fashion Ivy.

Lucy Liu had a very busy week traveling from Tokyo to LA, promoting both Kung Fu Panda and Dirty Sexy Money.

She was consistent throughout the whole week, in an array of stunning dresses.

My personal favourite was the Bill Blass ivory dress.
