Lily Collins In Paper London - Comic Con 2013 'The Mortal Instruments City of Bones' Press Line

Lily Collins made her way down ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ press line at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, California on Friday.

The actress managed to simultaneously blend in and boldly stand out with her Paper London Spring 2013 on-trend cropped top and high-waisted, A-line shorts, featuring a black-and-white, basket-weave print.

The ensemble looks like it could have been made for the classic, newsprint-like Comic-Con logo.

Bright metallic blue nails provided a super-gal pop, but she did soften her styling with wavy locks and a petal-pink pout, along with a few Palladium jewels.

Now, if only she had opted for the lookbook’s funky yellow-and-black sandals, rather than Brian Atwood’s ‘Hamper’ black platform pumps, this would’ve had Comic-Con written all over it.

Lily Collins In Moschino - 2013 Met Gala

Lily Collins made quite a statement in her Moschino look at the Met Gala.

I can only say, be careful what you wish for! Here everyone has been complaining about such a total lack of punk styling by many of the Met Gala’s guests, and here you have someone really going for it. I think.

Part of me thinks that Lily’s look is much more witchy than punk, but she’s definitely committed to her look.

While I can’t see the entire gown, I’m thinking maybe she should have work it alone, rather than pairing it with this outrageous sequin and flying-heart adorned jacket, because the two together is what we call ‘a lot of look’.

Then, when you add the blue streaked hair and the extreme eye makeup, it really is a lot to try to take in. But, if you really just focus on the young star’s face, she looks beautiful. I’m thinking the hair and makeup are keepers and should have been paired with a less heavy dress.

Am I being too harsh on someone finally going for the punk theme, or do you agree that this is just too much all together?

Lily Collins In Helmut Lang - Extra

Lily Collins made an appearance on the show ‘Extra!’ at The Grove in LA on Wednesday.

The young actress wore a Helmut Lang Spring 2013 blazer with Thakoon Addition leather shorts, a Loeffler Randall ‘Lock’ clutch, EF Collection earrings and a Givenchy necklace.

While the look is polished and sophisticated, Lily was careful not to let it read too old by leaving her hair down in loose waves.

The addition of the leather shorts and bright red bag also keep the sophisticated blazer fresh and young.

I really love Lily’s fashion choices, and this one is no different. Do you agree? Is this look a win in your opinion?

Lily Collins Rag & Bone Temperley London and Phillip Lim

Lily Collins was on hand for Cassandra Clare’s ‘Clockwork Princess’ book signing in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, prior to the release of her upcoming movie, ‘City of Bones’, which is based on one of Cassandra’s novels.

We are so used to associating the 24-year-old actress with princess-y dresses that this laidback distressed look is a refreshing change.

She greet fans wearing a black-and-white printed Temperley London Pre-Fall 2013 tie neck blouse, which she styled with a 3.1 Phillip Lim leather vest with Rag & Bone distressed boyfriend jeans.

Apart from the blouse, the other ladylike touch to her look came via her Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ bubble embossed pumps.

Pretty makeup and a top knot completed her look.

You can buy Lily’s Rag & Bone Salvage Boyfriend jeans from Neiman Marcus, Cusp.com,
Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom.com.

LV FROW

The Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 presentation took place in Paris, France this afternoon, with stars wearing pieces from Spring 2013 and Pre-Fall 2013 collections.

Fan Bingbing: The Asian beauty took her front row seat wearing the same black-and-white chequered-flag-print dress we saw on Jessica Alba. I love the retro ‘do and the edge she brings to the look via her leather half gloves. A cream LV bag and stacked peep-toes complete her look. This is the 19th chequered look to hit the red carpet.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress gave us a more interesting look, wearing a black-and-red floral-print look from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. Her patent black pumps work well on this occasion, with a chic top-handle LV bag and a red-hot pout and plenty of attitude completing her FROW look. You may remember that Michelle Williams wore these same pants recently.

Lily Collins: Looking totally adorable in her gold-and-black Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013 dress with a black pointy collar, the actress styled her look with a lusty worthy LV top-handle bag, a top-knot and black pumps.

Naomi Watts: After wearing a selection of high-glamour looks during awards season, Naomi scaled things back this morning by wearing a simple white shift dress from the Spring 2013 collection with a white coat. I love the mint-green tote, but I dislike the black pumps with a passion with this look.

Lily Collins In Zuhair Murad Couture - 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Lily Collins looked sensational while taking to the red carpet at the Sunset Tower Hotel for the 2013 Vanity Fair party on Sunday.

Last year she stunned, wearing a princessy ballgown, and this year she stunned again, opting for an uber-sexy Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture gown.

I would’ve loved to have seen this on the likes of Catherine Zeta Jones, but the young star owns this long-sleeved gown, which features an embroidered bodice and sexy open back.

A slick centre-parted bun and dazzling emerald earrings completed her breathtaking look.
