Runway To Sidewalk – Kirsten Dunst In Miu Miu

J’adore.

Kirsten Dunst looks so adorable walking through the streets of Soho, New York with her boyfriend Jason Boesel this weekend.

She wore a Miu Miu Spring 2010 dress with block colours of black, white and baby blue.

The trademark swallow and naked ladies print of course features on her dress, which she pairs with comfortable ballet flats for her romantic stroll.

The former Miu Miu campaign girl does the brand proud.

I love this look for the mere fact that Kirsten pulls it off effortlessly on the sidewalk.

On many this look could’ve looked very contrived or ‘try hard’.

Louis Vuitton Bond Street Maison Launch Stars In Louis Vuitton Fall 2010

Kirsten Dunst, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Chung were my favourites at the Louis Vuitton Bond Street Maison Launch in London last night.

I loved the blue print of Kirsten dress, the simplicity of Gemma’s dusty pink dress and how demure Alexa looks. This is really refreshing as you know I’m not a fan of her scruff bag style.

Gemma opted for LV’s Fall 2010 bow front heels which I absolutely adore.

These girls have made me fall back in love with this collection.

Daisy Lowe who is the face of Louis Vuitton’s Damier Azur collection opted for a corseted Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 dress with a print skirt.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a grey tweed keyhole dress with a sparkling purple clutch and LV Fall 2010 heels.

The only thing I have to say to Pixie Geldof is congratulations on picking the only dress from the LV Fall 2010 collection which matches your ridiculous hair.

2010 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony – Kirsten Dunst In Chanel

Kirsten Dunst arrived at the Palme d’Or Award Closing Ceremony during Cannes Film Festival wearing a turquoise Chanel Resort 2011 dress.

I loved this dress on the runway, but it feels so ordinary on the red carpet.

It has no magic, no wow factor.

It’s a press conference or TV show dress at best.

I love how she styled her hair, but I was fond of the embellished snow flake shaped hair accessory.

Nude crystal embellished heels completed her look.

2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala – Kirsten Dunst In Chanel Couture

Kirsten Dunst will be showing her short film “Bastard” during Cannes Film Festival.

Before the presentation she enjoyed a night out at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala this evening.

On this occasion she opted for a black Chanel Fall 2009 Couture.

Thanks to Kirsten we can finally see the front of the gown as it drapes at the front revealing a sheer split which is embellished with black crystals.

Normally we see Kirsten in edgy looks by Rodarte or Opening Ceremony, but I guess she wanted a more grown up look at Cannes considering she’s at the Festival to present her work.

2010 Met Costume Institute Gala – Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte for Gap

The Mulleavy sisters created a stunning white Rodarte for Gap gown for Kirsten Dunst.

Kristen looked exquisite as she glided down the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala last night.

The white one-shoulder gown had a embroidered chiffon skirt and a fluffy detail on the shoulder.

I’m not crazy about the white shoes, white socks combo but everything else is amazing so that can just be overlooked.

“Between the Lines” New York Premiere – Kirsten Dunst In Nina Ricci

It’s been like forever since we last saw Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet.

She flashed a confident smile at the Tribeca Film Festival for the movie “Between the Lines”, which she wrote, produced and directed.

Her Nina Ricci floral dress was bursting with spring time freshness, but yet again for the umpteenth time today I’m bitterly disappointed with the heels.

Whoever makes black pumps in Hollywood must make a killing.

Gladiators, strappy sandals, hell even flip flops would’ve been preferred to those black pumps.

Back to the dress. She looks beautiful.

I love the pleats and the slightly voluminous sleeves.

Kirsten Dunst For V Magazine #64

Kirsten Dunst looks stunning on the cover of V magazine’s issue #64 wearing a white Givenchy dress.

With Mario Testino behind the camera and Nicola Formichetti styling this shoot, it was guaranteed to be an amazing shoot – and it was.

The feature is titled “The Art of Being Kirsten Dunst” and in her editorial we see Kirsten wearing Dolce & Gabbana, Rodarte, Burberry Prorsum, Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton and a Gareth Pugh headpiece.

In each picture she looks like a perfect porcelain doll.

Dunst discusses her unique friendships with both the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte and Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami as well as her upcoming long-awaited film “All Good Things”.

For more on this feature check out VMagazine.com.

Here are some extracts from her feature:

Rodarte’s Mulleavy sisters on Kirsten: “She has a magical quality that all the greats, like Mia Farrow, have had before. You fall in love with her as a real person. She is both a character actor and a leading lady, which is a rare combination.”Read More…

Who Wore Rodarte Better? Keira Knightley, Kristen Dunst or Jennifer Lopez

Keira Knightley and Kristen Dunst are huge fans of Rodarte, so the biggest surprise of this trio is Jennifer Lopez wearing this bronze bow accented Rodarte mini dress.

Keira wore the dress when she posed for the cover of Empire’s 20 Anniversary issue shot by Adrian Green, with fellow Brit actor James McAvoy.

Without a pout in sight, the actress wore her dress with black pointy heels.

All eyes were on Kristen Dunst when took her front row seat at the Rodarte Spring 2010 presentation last month.

She paired her dress with tight black tights despite the soaring heat during New York Fashion Week, plus black pumps.

Jennifer Lopez arrived at the “Fiesta Latina” event at the White House pairing her dress with matching strappy sandals and a box clutch.

Despite the fact that I was initially critical of Jennifer’s decision to wear this dress, her legs look amazing plus I much prefer her shoe choice so she wins for me.

This dress is available to purchase in a midnight blue print version from Collette for €2,635/£2,402.46/$3,917.98

‘Opening Ceremony’ Japan Opening Reception Party

Although I do appreciate Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s style, they never appear to be having fun but that changed when they arrived on the red carpet for “Opening Ceremony” Japan reception party wearing Maison Michel Fall 2009 lace ears with their ensembles.

You may remember Lady Gaga wore these same lace ears recently.

Ashley wore the Mickey Mouse lace head band with a black fitted The Row Weatherby dress with a cream coat, her favourite Prada studded heels and Ralph Lauren tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Mary-Kate opted for the Rabbit Ears with her interesting black dress by a Japanese designer.

Her Toga Fall 2009 long sleeved dress had lots of texture with ruffles, pleats and layers.

She wore her dress with Prada Spring 2009 heels, and both girl carried Prada Fall 2009 bags.

It seems they both have a love for Miuccia Prada’s accessories.

There’s no way Kirsten Dunst’s could top the Olsen twins looks, but her look was also far from safe.

The actress looked like a maid wearing a high neck black mini dress trimmed with white lace and black ribbons.

A Chanel purse and black lace-up peep-toe booties completed the look.

This is not my favourite look from Kristen, plus the Chanel bag seem too big and a bit much for her look.

Humberto Leon the Creative Director of Opening Ceremony, actress Rinko Kikuchi and Carol Lim the CEO of Opening Ceremony walked the red carpet together.

Rinko wore a black double strap mini dress with exposed zippers.

I love the smokey eyes, and her sleek bob which has grown out from the shorter bob she was sporting earlier this year.

She wore her dress with the very popular Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony multi buckle wedge booties as worn by Chloe herself and Leighton Meester.

Carol Lim was wearing the same Opening Ceremony Lantern dress Alexis Bledel wore to the Teen Choice Awards, but Carol’s is black and blue, whereas Alexis was blue all over.

Designer Alexander Wang and model Erin Wasson look so hip it hurts.

Erin gave us her usual “I just threw this on” look, wearing a taupe tank top with leopard print shorts and black ankle boots.
