Kerry Washington In Gucci – LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala

Kerry Washington joined a host of stars who took to the red carpet on Saturday evening for the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick in LA.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a Gucci Spring 2013 satin dress with heavily beaded details.

I love the colour, but I almost feel like there is too much going on around the neckline.

Nonetheless Kerry pulls off this look wonderfully. Thankfully she was wise enough to pull her hair back so it didn’t compete.

Gold Gucci open-toe ankle strap sandals and a beige Gucci python box clutch completed her look.

Kerry Washington In Monique Lhuiller – 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala

Kerry Washington attended the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a Monique Lhuiller Spring 2012 dress.

Her black-and-white splatter-print dress was so very appropriate for the occasion.

Borgioni earrings, a Louis Vuitton clutch and black satin pumps with a taupe bow at the front and navy bow at the back accessorized her look with a half-up, half-down chic hairstyle providing the finishing touches along with flawless makeup.

I love everything sans the bows on her pumps.

Who Wore Stella McCartney Better…Kerry Washington or Britney Spears?

Back in April, Kerry Washington joined Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx for the ‘Django Unchained’ photocall during Summer of Sony 4 Spring Edition held at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

The actress wore a Stella McCartney ornate floral dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection which she styled with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Cosmic’ pumps.

Last month Britney Spears wore the same dress, which she shortened, to the season two premiere of ‘The X Factor’ held at the Chinese Theatre in California.

Between the tight fit of Britney’s dress and that painful fake smile, this was a very easy win for Kerry.

Kerry Washington In Marchesa – BET’s Black Girls Rock 2012

Kerry Washington received the ‘Star Power’ Award during BET’s Black Girls Rock 2012, held at the Paradise Theater in New York City on Saturday evening.

The actress looked gorgeous, wearing a Marchesa Spring 2013 ensemble.

Her gorgeous floral embroidered ivory cape worn over a mini-skirt was let down by her black Christian Louboutin ‘Love Me’ bow pumps.

I would’ve preferred pewter heels to complement the embroidery on her dress and metallic Anndra Neen clutch.

A chic updo, berry lip colour and gold Anito Ko earrings provided the finishing touches.

Yay or nay on Kerry’s shoe choice?

Kerry Washington appeared on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Wednesday, where she revealed that she’s obsessed with Lady Gaga and even pre-ordered her perfume.

She also talked about speaking at the Democratic National Convention saying that the Emmys were a piece of cake compared to the DNC.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a beautiful Novis ‘The Tango’ dress which has an asymmetrical hemline.

Opting not to add too many accessories to her confetti-print boucle dress, she kept it simple with a silver ring and a red lip colour.
