Ann Taylor and Katie Holmes Celebrate The Summer 2011 Collection

Yesterday Katie Holmes hosted a luncheon with Ann Taylor to celebrate their Summer 2011 Collection at the Château Marmont in LA.

Katie’s summery look included some Ann Taylor Fall 2011 pieces.

She wore a white Holmes & Yang blouse with an orange Ann Taylor A Line zip orange skirt.

Her accessories included an Ann Taylor animal print cross body bag and Miu Miu tri-colour Spectator pumps.

The Ann Taylor Spring 2011 ad campaign was shot by world-renowned fashion photographer Tom Munro.

The campaign captures the Spring collections fresh, feminine take on American sportswear.

Katie Holmes In Ralph Lauren – “The Kennedys” World Premiere

Katie Holmes walked the red carpet for “The Kennedys” World Premiere which was held at The AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills last night.

I bet you’re thinking that Tom Cruise wasn’t there. Well he was.

It looks like he finally got my memo, because on this rare occasion he allowed his wife to pose all by herself so we can actually get a good look at her Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 dress.

Her knitted lace pale blue dress with a flared skirt was teamed nude strappy sandals and a gold necklace with an ‘S’ (Suri) pendant to complete her look.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn this colour before, but it’s the perfect colour for Spring.

I’m loving Katie’s sassy confidence at the moment.

I hope we get to see her wearing her own Holmes & Yang collection soon, as Malin Akerman did a get good of showcasing a look last week.

Katie Holmes In Stella McCartney – “The Decision” New York Screening

Katie Holmes attended a special screening of her short film “The Decision” in New York City last night.

The actress opted for a sophisticated menswear look for her big night.

Her Stella McCartney Resort 2011 look included a white blazer with black lapels and black cropped pants.

She added fun pair of Dolce & Gabbana polka dotted heels to complete her sultry menswear look.

For me the best thing about this look is that she doesn’t have a 5ft 7in man hanging from her hip.

You may remember that Julia Roberts also wore the same Stella McCartney blazer on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last year.

Katie Holmes Debuts Her Valextra for Holmes & Yang Bag

Katie Holmes was spotted out in New York City this afternoon after running errands ahead of tonight’s premiere of her latest movie, “The Decision.”

She was dressed casually wearing jeans, a khaki jacket and croc boots.

As you know Katie has been working with Jeanne Yang on their Holmes & Yang collection for a while now.

The collection recently expanded with the addition of bags following a collaboration with the luxury Italian house Valextra.

This collaboration was a natural choice for Holmes & Yang, considering Katie had a mild obsession with their bags back in 2009.

Katie opted to debut a dark grey version of the Valextra for Holmes & Yang bag with a croc-embossed leather flap detail today.

I’m sure people are going to make the comparison with Victoria Beckham’s bag collection, but I think the Valextra for Holmes & Yang bag seems more wearable for everyday use.

The Valextra for Holmes & Yang line consists of one bag in different colourways and 3 different sizes. The best feature of this bag is the iPad compartment.

Katie Holmes In Azzaro – 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards Nomination Announcement

Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, and Blair Underwood were up early this morning to announce the 2011 Golden Globe Awards nominations at the Beverly Hilton in LA.

I’m very jealous that Katie is in the presence of two sexy Hollywood actors.

For once I didn’t get a sense that Katie had aged herself with this look.

She wore an ivory Azzaro knitted dress paired with on trend nude Jimmy Choo ‘Lilac’ pumps.

Her ivory and navy striped dress has short puffball style sleeves, a square neckline and a pleated skirt.

For the first time in a long time Katie gives us a chic and stylish look.
