Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – WW1 100 Years Commemoration Ceremony

The Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge Attend A Service Of Remembrance

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge; French President Francois Hollande; Queen Mathilde of Belgium; and the Duke of Cambridge attended the WW1 100 Years Commemoration Ceremony held at Le Mémorial Interallié on Monday morning (August 4) in Liege, Belgium.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge: The duchess opted for a coat dress, naturally, by her favourite British brand, Alexander McQueen, which featured a pleated skirt and Peter Pan collar, which she accessorized with a Jane Taylor Millinery hat with dusty-pink roses, her trusted L.K. Bennett nude heels, a cream suede Alexander McQueen clutch sans skull clasp, and a pair of Kiki McDonough pearl drop earrings.

Queen Mathilde of Belgium: Opting to wear her favourite colour, blue, the Queen wore a faux-wrap dress with a gathered detail at the side which draped at the hip, styled with grey accessories which dampen my love for this look.

A Week In Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s Closet

A Week In Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's Closet

It has been a busy few days for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who has attended several events in the UK this week.

M-PACT Plus Counselling Programme: On Tuesday (July 1) the duchess wore a sweet coral-pink Goat 3/4-sleeve belted dress styled with her favourite L.K. Bennett clutch and nude pumps.

Wimbledon Championships: On Wednesday (July 2) for the Simone Halep v Sabine Lisicki match on Day 9 of the Wimbledon Championships, Catherine repeated her Zimmermann ‘Roamer’ eyelet dress she wore on her tour of Australia. The look was of course styled with her L.K. Bennett nude pumps, with a red, tan and ivory Anya Hindmarch fan clutch providing the finishing touch.

Tour de France Grand Depart: For the official launch of the Tour de France – which, despite its title, kicked off from Harewood House in Leeds, England on Saturday (July 5) – the duchess repeated her green Erdem Pre-Fall 2013 coat. Worn over a green and white printed Suzannah summer dress, her nude L.K. Bennett clutch and pumps were of course also present.

Wimbledon Men’s Final: The duchess attended the Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer match held at Wimbledon on Sunday (July 6). Wearing another repeat, she opted for a Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012 dress which she first wore back in 2012. While we can’t see her shoes, I wouldn’t bet on her wearing anything other than her go-to L.K. Bennett nude pumps.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Bletchley Park Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen - Bletchley Park Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge paid an official visit to Bletchley Park on today (June 18) in Bletchley, England.

She was wearing Alexander McQueen once again, which was also a re-run.

The Duchess first wore this Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 miltary blouse with navy trims, gold button-fastening epaulets and military-style frogging with a wool-crepe skirt with gold anchor-embossed buttons back in 2011 while on a visit to Birmingham.

This was one of Catherine’s rare chic looks before she became the Queen of repeats and coat dresses.

Many of you have asked why I continue to feature her.

Perhaps out of some sense of duty, but mostly I’m hoping she will turn things around.

FYI, I am not holding my breath.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Christopher Kane – Garter Ceremony

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Christopher Kane - Garter Ceremony

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, watched as Queen Elizabeth II led the Knights of the Garter to the Most Noble Order of the Garter Ceremony from the Galilee Porch on Monday (June 16) in Windsor, England.

Opting for yet another repeat, the Duchess wore a Christopher Kane pale blue coat dress with a matching hat from Lock & Co.

Her favourite LK Bennett ‘Natalie’ raffia clutch and a new pair of nude pumps courtesy of Jimmy Choo completed the look.

Catherine first wore this coat dress back in July 2012 while attending a pre-Olympics reception. We were baffled that this look didn’t have a trace of Christopher Kane’s usual aesthetic.

Now, those coat dresses are just blending into one.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Queen Elizabeth II’s Official Birthday

Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday Parade: Trooping The Colour

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, joined Prince William, Prince Harry and their grandfather Prince Philip to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday with an impressive Trooping the Colour parade, which they watched from the balcony of the Royal Horseguards in London, England, on Saturday (June 14).

The Duchess wore a pale blue brocade Alexander McQueen jacket over a matching dress colour-coordinated with her Jane Taylor hat.

How is this McQueen? Well, if you look closely enough you can make out a few of the brand’s signature skulls woven into the fabric.

Catherine accessorized with a pearl brooch and Annoushka earrings.

I can’t say I am impressed with this look; quelle surprise, I find it quite aging for Kate and the colour a tad dull.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended a garden party held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (June 10) in London, England following her visit to the National Maritime Museum earlier in the day.

The Duchess wore a cream Alexander McQueen lace dress with a Jane Corbett hat in the same hue.

This is yet another repeat, as she wore this same dress, with a grosgrain belt, to a service at St. Paul’s Cathedral celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee exactly a two years ago.

Opting for a half-up, half-down hairstyle, she styled her look with a Russell and Bromley ‘Park Avenue’ clutch, Annoushka pearl earrings and, of course, L.K. Bennett nude pumps.
