Kate Hudson In Elisabetta Franchi – Madeo Restaurant

Kate Hudson In Elisabetta Franchi - Madeo Restaurant

Kate Hudson swapped the pre-Oscar parties in favour of a lavish meal at West Hollywood’s celebrity hotspot Madeo Restaurant on Saturday night (March 1).

Despite not actually attending a red carpet event, Kate still dressed the part in a red long-sleeved jumpsuit with sheer detailing from the Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2014 collection.

With understated peep toe shoes and a small clutch, Kate kept things simple to let the structured all-in-one do the talking. And it’s really paid off.

And with her long blonde locks flowing, Kate looked fabulously radiant and effortlessly glamorous.

I know the actresses’ recent Emilio Pucci look garnered quite positive feedback, so how do you think this one compares?

Kate Hudson In Emilio Pucci – BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades Of Glamour’

Kate Hudson In Emilio Pucci - BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades Of Glamour’

Kate Hudson made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived at the BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades of Glamour’ party hosted by Naomi Watts at Soho House in West Hollywood, California, yesterday evening (February 25).

Kate chose a white and yellow colour combination to show off her glowing pre-Oscars tan. Wearing a yellow silk V-neck blouse tucked into a white leather embossed skirt from the Emilio Pucci Spring 2014 collection, Kate seriously dazzled.

A pair of mega-watt white Christian Louboutin leather pumps and sparkling BVLGARI jewels and clutch finished the look.

It was great to see Kate opting for something other than a dress and it was certainly impactful. Kate’s ‘Le Divorce’ co-star and the host of the evening, Naomi Watts also wowed at the event but it seemed Kate was trying to steal the show with this bold look. What do you think?

Kate Hudson In Viktor & Rolf – Live with Kelly & Michael

Kate Hudson made a guest appearance on ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ on Tuesday (January 28), where she said that she and fiancé Matthew Bellamy won’t be tying the knot anytime soon.

“No, I’m planning nothing right now. I’m so busy, we’ve been so busy and it’s been great. I come from an unconventional family – they’re not married, my parents aren’t married, so there’s a part of me that goes, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right. And I’m going to take the time to really plan it right . . . And it’s a lot. Planning a wedding is a lot! I mean, I did a movie about planning a wedding [Bride Wars] and that was a lot, let alone actually planning a wedding! So, no. Not anytime soon, no.”

Opting for a standout colour for her early-morning interview, she wore a Viktor & Rolf Resort 2014 blue suit with cropped trousers styled with a white silk top.

Keeping the hair and makeup fairly simple, the look was further enlivened with a pair of coral-black-and-white snakeskin Chrisitan Louboutin ‘So Kate Ayers’ pumps.

Kate Hudson for Harper’s Bazaar US December/January

Kate Hudson for Harper Bazaar

Kate Hudson is the latest cover star of Harper’s Bazaar US, shot by Alexi Lubomirski for the December-January issue who captures the blonde star wearing Lanvin for the newsstand cover and Givenchy for the subscriber cover, plus a dazzling array of Spring 2014 looks from the likes of Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli and Fendi are featured in the editorial.

She talks to the mag about fitness, family, high-end shopping and my favourite top red-carpet fashion.

On high-end clothing: “People think we own all these dresses. But we borrow them. I can’t afford to buy that stuff. There are certain things I splurge on, but it’s very rare, especially when you have two kids and school tuition. I’m not a big high-end fashion shopper. I wish I could but the truth is things are just so expensive. Before Isabel Marant was a million dollars and famous, I used to go to her store in Paris and go crazy, it was so affordable.”

On the beaded denim Balmain minidress she wore to the ‘Clear History’ premiere: “It was a bit intimidating. The workmanship is amazing. It brought me back to being a little girl looking at anything sparkly.”

On her favourite red-carpet moments this year: “The black-and-gold Alexander McQueen dress I wore to the Golden Globes, and a red Stella McCartney and a red Prabal Gurung. I haven’t really done Valentino yet, but I want to.”

On staying active: “It really is a vital part of my day in terms of energy. And I mean just by putting a sports bra on. Then maybe you’ll do something. Even if it’s a few squats in the backyard and back to the couch.”

Best Dressed Of The Week – Kate Hudson In Gucci & Gisele Bundchen In Atelier Versace

BDOTW 11 1

It was a busy weekend with the Baby2Baby Gala, BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards, EMAs, AFI Fest premieres and two sightings of Blake Lively, so I hope you go back a few pages to catch up.

Kate Hudson swept you off your feet this week so you crowned her best dressed in her gorgeous Gucci gown.

I, on the other hand, opted for Gisele Bündchen in Atelier Versace. There were many wow moments this week, but this one made me feel very nostalgic and reminisce on the real supermodel era.

When it came to the fellas, our selections differed too. You loved Tom Hiddleston, and who can blame you? The guy knows how to wear a suit with such confidence.

Pharrell Williams got my vote in Lanvin. He looked uber cool and savvy and only narrowly beat out Gerard Butler, who looked very cool in all blue.

Kate Hudson In Gucci – LACMA Art + Film Gala 2013

Kate Hudson In Gucci - LACMA Art + Film Gala 2013

Kate Hudson stunned on the red carpet while attending the third annual LACMA Art + Film Gala held at LACMA in California yesterday evening, honouring filmmaker Martin Scorcese and artist David Hockney.

The actress showed off her toned abs wearing a blush Gucci halter-neck gown with a shimmering bodice featuring a deep plunge, embellished waist and cut-outs.

Kate styled her breath-taking gown with nude peep-toes and a nude box clutch. She completed the look with a sweeping updo, smoky eyes and pink lips.

I love how this look creates the perfect balance of sexy and sweet.

While Kate’s Reem Acra dress is still my favourite from her this year, this comes in at a very close second.
