This event has got to be one of the Best Dressed events I’ve ever seen, as everyone made a magnificent effort.

I’ve never been one to go gaga over Chloe Sevigny, but I absolutely LOVE her in this Miu Miu Spring 2010 dress.

It’s something only the likes of Chloe and Zooey Deschanel could pull off without looking like a grown woman dressing childishly.

Her bejewelled turtle neck dress is so playful and dainty, plus I love her neutral accessories which complement her dress well.

*Sighs*

Kate Beckinsale blew me away at this event.

I love the way her midnight green asymmetrical Andrew GN Spring 2010 gown appears to snake around her toned body.

The draping is magnificent, the embellished belt and shoulder detail adds texture and the look is pulled together with an elegant updo.

This is one of my favourite looks from Kate, who completed the look with a black Jenny Packham Baguette clutch.

Christina Ricci wasn’t brave enough to wear the runway version of this Prada Spring 2010 cloque baby doll dress, but she settled on a forest green modified version which she accented with a silver waist band.

Christina isn’t shy at taking risks, but baring her panties at this event wouldn’t have been quite appropriate.

Is it me or does Christina change her hair colour every time she hits the red carpet?

Jessica Alba’s also opted for a Prada Spring 2010 cloque halter dress.

Looking at the closet match to the runway, I would have preferred her to have worn the runway look as it’s far more interesting.

Red satin Prada heels and a red velvet Prada Velluto Sere clutch from the Fall 2009 collection complete this rather tame look.

It looks like what we saw on the Prada and Miu Miu Spring 2010 runway’s may not be exactly what we will see in the boutique’s.

Eva Mendes’ Miu Miu Spring 2010 black and beige dress, takes the jewel embroidered detail from the runway look to perfect her sexy sheath dress.

I adore her look, especially the hair accessory which adds a bit of pizazz to her classy updo.

The edgier runway version wouldn’t have quite worked for her.

Normally I can match a dress to a celebrity the moment I see it on the runway, which also helps me memorize runway looks.

This Marchesa Spring 2010 embroidered black tulle gown with draped sleeves looks like it was made for Shirley Manson, despite that fact that I would never have consider her for this stunning gown.

The singer gives the gown a romantic Gothic vibe I don’t believe Georgina Chapman was going for, but Shirley really works this look.

Daisy Fuentes saw the magic which Gustavo Cadile created for Catherine Zeta-Jones last week, and created it for herself wearing one of his luscious gowns.

I love the amethyst colour of her Spring 2009 halter chiffon gown, which is slightly modified from the runway as hers has jeweled straps.

This would’ve been the reason she pulled back her hair, so we could see that stunning detail.

Last week Lady GaGa and Carine Roitfeld opted for risque looks from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2010 collection, but Gwen Stefani opted for something less revealing.

The singer walked the red carpet with her husband wearing a white bustier with a black lace trim, paired with tapered pants from the same collection.

Sexy strappy sandals completed her look.

I keep looking at Zoe Saldana’s strapless Marchesa Spring 2010 tulle column gown with sequin detail and keep thinking that something is missing.

I think a waist band, either contrasting or the same colour of the gown would have given her more of a defined waist.

The actress carried a black Jenny Packham Lipstick clutch to complete her look.

I’m so thankful Carine Roitfeld removed all those OTT silver embellishments from her Balmain Spring 2009 as they were overkill.

The dress is much more appealing without all that bling, and I’m a girl who love a bit of bling.

Christian Louboutin Supra Fifre 120 thigh-high boots complete this effortless look.

Unlike most of the others on this red carpet, Kate Bosworth doesn’t really rock my world.

Her animal print Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 dress is nice enough, but she could’ve blown us away with much more interesting pieces from this collection.

I will always love how Rose McGowan always gives us va-va-voom.

Jessica Rabbit eat your heart own.

Rose’s red Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2009 gown is so sensual and divine.

Of course she adds a red lip to her look.

My only criticism is that she would have looked a hell of a lot better with her hair pulled back.

Fashionista Liz Goldwyn always likes to wear the unexpected.

Her fruity watermelon Sonia Rykiel Spring 2010 jumpsuit was paired with a dazzling pair of heels from the same collection.

Miuccia Prada makes her self designed Prada Spring 2010 dress more wearable, by adding a shirt dress under her chandelier-styled crystal embroidered dress.

Carey Mulligan was also wearing Prada, like so many others.

The Oscar hopeful donned a heavily embroidered Prada Spring 2010 dress paired with shoes with a clear heel from the same collection.

She just keeps getting it right. I predict hope she blows us away this coming Awards season.

One person who never lets me down on the red carpet is Marisa Tomei.

I’m just loving this burst of colour.

The actress wore a 1950s Jean Desses Haute Couture bubble-gum pink cocktail dress from Decades Inc.

Boucheron jewels and a Leiber purse complete this outstanding look.

This is one I will come back to drool over again and again.

Rachel Zoe opted for a one-shouldered Pucci gown

Ciara might have been wearing those fierce Christian Louboutin studded pigalle’s but the rest of her look is really disappointing.

When so many stepped outside the box, or wowed us with drama and colour Ciara’s look is very blah and uninspired.

Mr & Mrs Snoozeville were there also.

She was wearing Armani Prive.

It’s a upsetting trend but some stars are skipping the red carpet for some events.

Jessica Alba was one of those stars who we only saw on stage at this event.

I guess she skipped the red carpet because she was presenting the award for ‘Most Anticipated Fantasy Movie’ to actor Johnny Depp.

A girl’s got to get ready for that moment.

Jessica looked beautiful wearing a Lanvin black floral metallic lame ¾ sleeve dress with draped detailing on the shoulder.

From head-to-toe this is the best I have seen her in a long while.

Despite being the new face of Armani underwear Megan Fox seems to love Martin Grant.

This is the second time she has worn a dress from the Paris based Australian designer.

Her red haltered Martin Grant Spring 2010 dress wraps and drapes around her toned body, as she sports a classic updo.

Anna Paquin walked on stage to accept her award for ‘Best Horror Actress’ wearing the same Marc Jacobs duchesse satin zip-embellished dress which Anne Hathaway wore to the Costume Institute Gala earlier this year.

Kate Bosworth opted for a sexy nude Alexander Wang Spring 2010 bandage dress, which she paired with leopard print heels.

Isabel Lucas is wearing a very detailed black and gold embroidered Chanel Resort 2010 mini dress, but with her newly lighten locks I just can’t help but be dumbstruck by her eyebrows.

Had I not read that this was Jamie King, I would never have recognised her.

The hair, dress and make-up are not what we would normally expect to see from Jamie who usually fades into the background.

She was front and center at this event wearing a nude Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 tiered asymmetric mini dress, which has been modified from the runway.

Love the dress, and the heavier make-up is different, but the hair is a big no-no.

Christina Ricci is always totally captivating on the red carpet, no matter what she wears.

Even her hair is quite fascinating as she changes again from light brunette to this raven colour.

She showed-off her legs wearing a Jasmine di Milo Fall 2009 dress with cut-out detailing on the yoke, paired with YSL Trib Two patent platform heels.

Olivia Munn showed off her tanned pins wearing a blue French Connection long sleeved fitted dress.

I love how this colour pops.

Victoria Justice looks like she has grown a few inches.

The Zoey 101 star was totally decked out head-to-toe in Rock & Republic.

Her look cute included wearing a Rock & Republic’s “Patricia” v-neck mini dress with leather and sheer chiffon trim paired with Rock & Republic’s “Brooklyn” military-inspired leather jacket in deep purple, and “Leena” peep toe ankle booties and “Newport” clutch in black.

“Meat Free Monday” is the McCartney family’s new initiative to encourage meat-eaters to forgo meat for one day each week. I did my bit yesterday as I only had sushi.

Stella McCartney’s muse Kate Bosworth showed her support for the campaign, and for Stella McCartney’s Resort 2010 collection.

The actress wore a stunning cute ivory skirt suit.

The skirt is high waisted with a cute bow detailing, and she opted to wear her look with a white tank instead of the black runway shirt, which is perfect for a sunny day in London.

Her look was complete with Stella McCartney platform pumps.

I really love Stella McCartney’s casual style as much as her glamorous style.

Casual was the order of the day as she wore a striped blazer, a white tank, and jeans. It’s a simple everyday look, but with does of McCartney magic.

Model Anouck Lepere was also on hand for support.

She wore a grey sequined tunic dress, with low slung tie and gold pumps.

It’s like a fabulous well-dress family picnic.

I don’t think I will ever tire of this Stella McCartney Resort 2010 collection.

Oceana, Nautica & Vanity Fair Celebrate World Oceans Day, New York

Amber Valletta wore a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress, which was recently presented.

The dress has an interesting origami detail on the skirt, which very much reminds me of the strapless dress Myleene Klass wore during Cannes recently.

This is a beautiful sophisticated dress, so I really don’t like how Amber has opted to toughen up her look with those black peep-toes booties.

I’ve been wondering what is it about Estelle that’s so different. She seems to be glowing lately. Then I realised that she has taken off her braces.

I love the swirly print mini dress, it has a very 60s vibe to it, but her lilac clutch, and blue bangle ruin this look for me.

The saying goes, “Before you leave the house, take one thing off.” In this case it should have been two.

Her look is paired with tan Jimmy Choo Prize t-bar sandals.

3rd Annual American Institute For Stuttering Benefit Gala, LA

I love this silver and black beaded Marc Bouwer Spring 2009 halter dress, but not on Emily Blunt.

The dress looks spectacular on the runway, because it is considerably shorter. Emily should have opted for the shorter length.

Simon Aboud Book Launch Party, London

Looking stylishly dishevelled Kate Bosworth wore an interesting painted Josh Goot Fall 2009 top, which looks like it should belong in an art gallery.

She paired her work of art with a simple black mini skirt, a gold purse and Nicholas Kirkwood booties.

8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, LA

Angie Harmon looks amazing wearing a Ikat printed chiffon Kaufman Franco wrap dress.

I love the leather straps, as it reminds me of my favourite Michael Kors dress, which has the same detail.

Is it me or does AnnaLynne McCord just get hotter with every red carpet appearance?

This girl really knows how to make things interesting. I should be frowning that she’s wearing a simple black sheath dress, but the back detail and her elegantly coiffed hair really make this a sizzling look.

Keep it coming AnnaLynne.

Oceana Celebrates World Oceans Day, LA

January Jones’ look is ultra soft and feminine in this lemon dress.

I’m sure you will have noticed that the braided belt details on the dress, matched the braids in her hair to complete this Grecian inspired look.

I adore her make-up.

Apollo Theater’s 75th Anniversary Gala Concert & Awards Ceremony, New York

Mariah Carey please give us something new. I feel like I have seen this type of Roberto Cavalli dress on her a million times before.

After a long battle between Leighton Meester and Kate Bosworth, Kate was finally voted your Best Dressed this week.

Kate looked radiant, graceful and chic wearing a nude Rodarte dress to a dinner in London.  You admired her overall neutral look, and her complementary accessories.  Many of you commented that she wore the dress, whereas Emma Watson was worn by her Rodarte dress.

I was captivated by Amanda Seyfried, in her Peter Pilotto dress. It was colourful, bejeweled, and had an interesting series of drapes on either side of her hips.

I loved her accessories, especially those strappy gladiator heels.

June 4th, 2009

Last night Kate Bosworth was the hosted for an intimate dinner for the Laura and Kate Mulleavy, who make up the design duo for Rodarte.

The dinner took place at Harvey Nichols in London.

The host glowed wearing a nude ethereal dress, from the Spring 2009 collection, which had a leather pleated skirt, and a knit bodice and sleeves. Her subtle accessories included an elegant apricot clutch, and gold peep-toes.

The neutral theme continued to her flawless make-up.

Emma Watson was by far my favourite of the two, wearing a deconstructed black, blue and white Spring 2009 dress, with two tone Chanel Spring 2009 Couture ankle strap heels.

The blue and the black skirt of Emma’s dress, reminds me of the Rodarte gown which Reese Witherspoon wore to the Oscars this year.

Emma totally owns her look, without appearing to try too hard, as many may have tried to interpret the look.

I glad neither was prepared to follow Rihanna and wear the leather cut-out thigh highs.

In terms of style appreciation, Kate Bosworth and Chloe Sevigny are pretty equal, so this should be an interesting poll.

Kate Bosworth was the first to bring the Chloé Spring 2009 scalloped shorts to the red carpet, when she attended the Launch Party For The New BlackBerry Bold, in Beverly Hills last year.

Kate’s picked shorts which were lighter in colour to her jacket, pairing them with a simple white tank.

Actress Chloe Sevigny attended the PaleyFest09 presentation of “Big Love” in Hollywood last month, wearing the same Chloé scallop shorts, plus the matching camel jacket, with an animal print top.

Chloe’s camel look really doesn’t work for me, it makes her look older, despite the animal print breaking up the colour.

I much prefer Kate’s interpretation of this look. It feels fresh and young.
