Who Wore Gucci Better? Kate Bosworth or Anna Kendrick?

Thanks to JGV’s brilliant memory we have this who wore it better? moment.

A young, fresh faced Kate Bosworth was the first to wear this -then- fresh-off-the-runway Gucci Fall 2006 dress to the ‘Superman Returns’ London premiere.

11 years later, Anna Kendrick wore the same dress to the ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ LA premiere, taking an already sexy dress a few steps further with the Giuseppe Zanotti over-the-knee boots.

I have a feeling that Kate, who styled her look with Louboutins, will win this by a landslide, but I’m still gonna root for the boldness and unexpectedness of Anna’s look.

Kate Bosworth In Erdem – The Late Late Show with James Corden

Kate Bosworth made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ to promote her new film, ‘The Long Road Home’.

The actress made a contemporary yet sensual statement wearing Erdem.

I love the cloqué fabric, chic bows and the simplicity of how the cut is sculpted with the nipped-in waist to create an hourglass silhouette.

In lieu of statement accessories, Kate completed her look with a red hot lip.

Kate Bosworth In Antonio Marras – HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Every time Kate Bosworth has stepped out recently, I have been dazzled by how she experiments with different styles, but still presents a cool, effortless mix.

She did not let me down at the HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards event on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California, where she joined Nina Dobrev.

‘The Long Road Home’ actress wore an Antonio Marras Spring 2018 dress. The ankle-length style had a sweet vintage feel courtesy of the gathered sleeves and beaded neckline.

What struck me was how the frock played with texture with the appliqués strewn across the translucent base. The gathers down the front added even more dimension, as did her velvet accessories.

Kate Bosworth In Antonio Marras – The Today Show

As Kate Bosworth continues down the promo circuit for the ‘Long Road Home,’ she stopped by ‘The Today Show’ on Wednesday (November 8) in New York City.

There would be no waiting for balmier, spring temperatures, as she introduced a look from the Antonio Marras Spring 2018 collection.

However, the scarf-print dress did receive the winterized treatment with her plush jacket and buckle-embellished handbag and shoes, which lent a vintage-ladylike sensibility.

Was it enough to bring the wispy frock into the fall season for you?

Kate Bosworth In Rochas – 11th Annual Stand Up for Heroes

Kate Bosworth has had a string of gorgeous red carpet moments recently, flitting between princess gowns, sleek suiting and sultry outfits.

She continued to dazzle, this time stepping out at the 11th Annual Stand Up for Heroes event on Tuesday (November 7) in New York City.

Her Rochas Spring 2018 dress had a magical quality thanks to the full skirt decorated with shimmering embellishment. The black colour palette and sheer blouse tempered the romantic feel, giving it an alluring vibe.

The ‘Long Road Home’ actress opted for a modified bodice with more coverage as opposed to the underboob look from the runway, but the ensemble still presented a sultry but sweet finish.

The feathered detail on her Roger Vivier ‘Swirl’ sandals brought even more of a fairy tale quality to the look, as did the ribbon tied in her updo.

Kate Bosworth’s ‘Long Road Home’ New York Promo Tour

As Kate Bosworth has embarked on promoting the ‘Long Road Home,’ she has already made a number of chic entrances. Her latest round of appearances in New York on Tuesday (November 7) continued that stride.

‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’: While we’ve seen her opt for some girly looks, this Coach 1941 Spring 2018 head-to-toe ensemble offered a different interpretation of modern femininity with the floral-embroidered, jade-green suiting. The Coach 1941 bag and shoes contributed an additional element of ladylike primness to the standout look.

Street Style: After her ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ TV appearance, she changed into an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2018 ensemble in which the intriguing mix of pastel pink and sunny yellow hues could have brightened up any chill in the air whilst she was out in the streets of Midtown, New York. The heart-embellished T-shirt added sweet chicness to the look, and I like the metallic punch of her silver pumps and Edie Parker ‘Lara’ silver chainmail clutch.

Street Style: Her third and final look stayed within the pants theme of the day yet presented an entirely different attitude. These Mother ‘Cha Cha Fray’ jeans had so much retro-fun spirit, and I love the boho nature of the one-sleeve floral top mixed with the rocker-girly edge of her embellished Roger Vivier boots and clutch.
