Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Karolina Kurkova joined Pharrell Williams at the private dinner celebrating Remo Ruffini and Moncler’s 60th Anniversary during Art Basel Miami in Florida on Friday evening.

As we all know, Karolina loves wearing menswear-inspired looks; no one rocked this trend better this year, so she feminized the look by opting for an Elie Saab Spring 2013 ensemble.

Her trio of magenta pieces included a collared button-up blouse paired with a matching crepe blazer and shorts.

The look was originally presented in a cool royal-blue hue, but everyone ups the ante during this event so I’m not surprised she opted for an even brighter colour.

The cut-out ankle boots and feathered clutch give the look an edge, with kohl-rimmed eyes and ‘I’ve been lounging by the pool all day’ hair completing her look.

Karolina Kurkova made a rare visit to London to support the PeaceEarth Foundation Fundraising Gala held at Banqueting House in London on Saturday evening.

The supermodel stuns wearing a Nicholas Oakwell Fall 2012 Couture gown.

Nicholas may be still regarded as an emerging designer, but celebs just can’t get enough of his classic designs.

In the space of two weeks, this is his third look to hit red carpet, following Gillian Anderson and Naomie Harris.

On this occasion, Karolina donned a grey chiffon long-sleeve dress enriched with silver bungle beads.

A metallic silver waist nipping waistband, a signature of this Fall 2012 collection, and a matching tube clutch accessorized her look.

Playing up to the retro vibe of this look, the model styled her hair into a slick back do and sported a bold red lip colour that both Gwen Stefani and Dita von Teese would be proud to rock.

Karolina Kurkova was in Berlin, Germany, yesterday evening for the Prix Montblanc 2012 at the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt.

The supermodel wore a Carlos Miele Spring 2013 gown.

Her beige gown has satin strips appliquéd to a tulle sheer bodice and a flowing chiffon skirt.

Karolina is a beautiful woman, but her supermodel powers are on the fritz as this gown totally washes her out.

Maybe the gown isn’t totally at fault; maybe the dark gothic makeup isn’t helping things.

Either way I’m not at all fond of this look. She can do so much better.

Zhang Ziyi was the runaway winner for best dressed this week.

Many of you have immediately added her to your BDOTY lists; that’s how much you love the Asian beauty in her Marc Bouwer navy blue ruched gown which she styled with Bulgari jewels and a Bulgari bag.

I totally agree with you guys that Zhang Ziyi was the best dressed this week, so I decided to give credit to my second choice, Karolina Kurkova.

The supermodel totally nailed this menswear-inspired Roberto Cavalli look in a chic and sexy way. As I said in the original post, she worked the hell out of this look from H-2-T.

Bergdorf Goodman celebrated its 111th anniversary at the Plaza Hotel in New York City last night, inviting its favourite supermodels.

Coco Rocha: The model gave us her fiercest pose donning a blood-red Zac Posen strapless mermaid gown with a ruffled front from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. Giving the look the old Hollywood vibe it commands, the model styled her hair into a side-swept bun and red hot lips, adding a gold clutch and silver earrings to complete the look.

Karolina Kurkova: Going in the totally opposite direction, Karolina wore a Roberto Cavalli Resort 2013 menswear-inspired look with an exquisite blue-and-white trumeau print paired with silver Christian Louboutin pumps. Between the kohl-rimmed eyes, the pose, the attitude and her slicked-back hair, she nailed this look.

Erin Heatherton: The model looked stunning wearing a Jason Wu Spring 2013 dress. She looked breathtaking wearing a navy halter dress with an embellished bodice and a sheer skirt. A black leather harness belt and Jason Wu accessories including a gold clutch and Jason Wu ‘Nadja’ pearl-accented ankle-strap sandals, as recently worn by Cody Horn, completed her look.

Here are the rest of the Michael Kors Golden Heart Gala attendees.

Karolina Kurkova: The supermodel’s Fall 2012 all-black look, save for her metallic copper ankle-strap pumps, featured a wool vest over a black crystal Chantilly lace long-sleeve cascade dress accented with a leather belt.

Erin Heatherton: The ‘Victoria’s Secret’ model wore a crimson Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2012 dress with black double ankle-strap pumps completing her laidback look with a simple ponytail.

Leigh Lezark: The DJ kept things simple wearing a black Fall 2012 leather dress with jersey sleeves. The look was styled with a Chanel bag with hooves for footwear courtesy of YSL.
