Jessica Chastain In Alexander McQueen – 2013 National Board Of Review Awards Gala

After wearing many colourful looks over the past few days, Jessica Chastain opted for classic black with a touch of gold for the 2013 National Board Of Review Awards Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen signature fitted dress with a honeycomb gold embroidered detail around the neckline, which complemented her gold Aurelie Bidermann cuff.

Black Charlotte Olympia pumps, a dark-pink lip colour and a simple updo completed her look.

I hate to point out the obvious, but like Kerry Washington, Jessica is having an outstanding week.

Jessica Chastain In Michael Kors – Out In New York City

‘Zero Dark Thirty’ star Jessica Chastain was spotted out and about in New York City on Monday whilst making her way to the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City, where she stars in the Broadway play ‘The Heiress’.

She wore a bright-red Michael Kors Spring 2013 coat and strappy black Rupert Sanderson sandals.

The coat has an adorable peter pan collar, round cutouts at the hips and gold-accented buttons. The colour goes wonderfully with the actress’s red hair, porcelain skin and red nail polish.

I love the shoes, but they seem a little out of place paired with the coat in the middle of winter.

Regardless, Jessica looks radiant. Side-swept retro hair and a dark-pink lip completed her look.

I’m glad her stint on Broadway is allowing us to see more of her street style.

Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta – 2012 New York Film Critics Circle Awards

Following her guest appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Jessica Chastain attended both the ‘Mama’ New York Screening, held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, and the 2012 New York Film Critics Circle Awards at the Crimson in New York City.

On this occasion she wore an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 look – our second look at this new season.

I’m not surprised that all eyes are on her, as Jessica looked divinely elegant in her black lace frock with cap-sleeves.

I think the look would’ve been fine without the diamond-encrusted collar necklace but, after looking at the close up, I’m guessing it was added to smooth out the illusion yoke.

Opting for sleek straight tresses for this event, Jessica completed her look with pink lips and Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Jessica Chastain In Antonio Berardi – Late Show with David Letterman

Jessica Chastain is currently appearing in the Broadway play, ‘The Heiress’, but yesterday the hardest-working woman in Hollywood made a guest appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman to promote her latest movie, ‘Mama’.

Dressed in an Antonio Berardi Spring 2013 frock, the figure-hugging piece gives her a sexy silhouette, as all Berardi dresses successfully achieve.

The look is chic from the front, and sexy from the back with the daring cut-out details.

Once again she selects colbat-blue hue, which is fast becoming her favourite colour.

Braving the cold weather, she completed her look with Rupert Sanderson ‘Irene’ black strappy suede sandals, pearl stud earrings, pink lips, red nails and side-swept flame tresses.

Jessica Chastain In Burberry – Walter Kerr Theatre

Jessica Chastain looked chic on Wednesday sporting an effortless daytime look as she was spotted headed to the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City, where she stars in the Broadway play ‘The Heiress’.

The flame-haired actress, unlike most actresses who are sunning themselves in St Bart’s, has worked throughout the holiday.

Opting to wear a plum Burberry Queensbury trench coat with a simple top and navy jeans, her accessories add a chic touch to her look.

They included the Alexander McQueen ‘Heroine’ bag, which continues to be a celeb favourite.

The sleek minimalist bag, with flap closure and interesting side zipper, was accompanied by rose-tinted pink shades, Prada Mary Janes with floral appliqués from the Spring 2013 collection, and a gold Louis Vuitton bracelet.

I wouldn’t change a thing about the look as each piece perfectly complements the other, and I love the plum theme she’s working here.
