The 2015 Women In Film Max Mara Face Of The Future Event Celebrating Kate Mara

Max Mara x W Magazine Event 1

The Max Mara 2015 Women In Film Face Of The Future Event celebrated Kate Mara at the Chateau Marmont on Monday (June 15) in West Hollywood, California, where the woman of the hour and a host of additional Max Mara-clad lovelies made the rounds.

Kate Mara: Looking appropriately glorious, the actress was stunning in an impeccable, ruby-red Max Mara jumpsuit sleekly styled with complementary sandals and a black Max Mara clutch. I love the slight nod to femininity that the ruffle provides to the more structured, mannish lines of the ensemble.

Ashley Madewke: Showing us that monochromatic is far from dull, Ashley was the epitome of effortless elegance in an off-white Max Mara loose blouse paired with cropped trousers. The Max Mara bronze snake clutch in combination with metallic sandals and a bright red lip appropriately punctuated this perfectly minimalistic statement.

Jena Malone: She added her own unique flair to the tonal nude hues of this Max Mara houndstooth strapless dress and pearlescent Edie Parker clutch with the addition of a sporty denim jacket thrown over her shoulders for a casually chic finish.

Jena Malone In Valentino – ‘Love & Mercy’ LA Premiere

Jena Malone In Valentino - 'Love & Mercy' LA Premiere

Jena Malone joined Elizabeth Banks at the premiere of ‘Love & Mercy’ at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday (June 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

Inspired by the highly decorative nature of an intricately beaded, lace-embellished Valentino Pre-Fall 2015 design, the actress put fresh new meaning into her modified dress.

The more conservative, solemn drama of the original lookbook gown received a lighthearted, youthful facelift in this pleated, short-sleeve frock, which was styled with a glittery clutch and complementary Brian Atwood pumps.

I do wonder if her former flame-red locks would have added another layer of depth to this look, as I haven’t quite warmed to the blonde hair mixed with that oxblood lip.

MatchesFashion.com + Mary Katrantzou Exclusive Initials Collection Launch

MatchesFashion + Mary Katrantzou Exclusive Initials Collection Launch

Actresses Gillian Jacobs, Jena Malone, Jenny Slate, Kiernan Shipka, and Michelle Monaghan all donned Mary Katrantzou looks while attending the launch celebration for the Matchesfashion.com + Mary Katrantzou Exclusive Initials Collection on Monday (April 20) at the Kayne Griffin Corcoran Gallery in Los Angeles, California.

Gillian Jacobs: Playing with prints, the actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Pre-Fall 2015 strapless frock that mixed tartan checks with exploded paisleys. The heavy black sandals dampened the fun, colourful mood of the dress.

Jena Malone: More successful was Jena’s fresh Mary Katrantzou Spring 2015 frock which embodied youthful elegance and flirty flair, especially when styled with the quirk of platform heels. I love this look for its artfully chaotic mix of prints and warm coral undertones, which were beautiful with the actress’s flame-red hair.

Michelle Monaghan: The girly, flared silhouette of this Mary Katrantzou Pre-Fall 2015 dress with exploded paisley prints received a dose of sultrier allure with sheer detailing. The heavy-strapped shoes unfortunately didn’t live up to the frock.

Jena Malone In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Jena Malone In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture - 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Jena Malone attended the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California on Saturday (February 21).

She turned heads in an Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2015 Couture look with Russian-inspired detail that delivered the full-on drama we’ve come to expect from the actress.

A corset-inspired cutout bodice provided the structural simplicity needed for the dimensional waffle silk skirt that was an art piece in and of itself with its extraordinary attention to detail in every section of the design.

Her blazing red waves put another pop of attitude into the ensemble, which may end up being the Marmite look of the evening.

Jena Malone In Roksanda & Valentino – ‘Angelica’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Jena Malone In Roksanda & Valentino - 'Angelica' Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Jena Malone was not quite done with Berlin Film Festival as on Saturday (February 7) she served up two more looks while promoting her next project ‘Angelica’ with a photocall and premiere in Berlin, Germany.

Photocall: Bubbly and light with blue tones, Jena’s Roksanda Spring 2015 dress, highlighted with a layered collar and accented with a metal belt, exudes feminine charm. This polished appearance, with its seamless details, was styled with a tie-dye green Edie Parker clutch and suede green Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps. At first the shades of green with the blue didn’t work for me, until I noticed the green slit in the skirt. Now, I get it.

Premiere: Stepping things up for the evening premiere the actress wore a Valentino dress which embodies girlish chic with flirty ruffles, colourful floral embroidery, and a mesh bib. This piece is breathtakingly sublime, its bold and vibrant in design was styled with some chunky ankle strap pumps and bold red lip, adding the touch of sass we expect from a Jena Malone look.

Jena Malone In Thom Browne – ‘Nobody Wants the Night’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Jena Malone In Thom Browne - 'Nobody Wants the Night' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Following her promo tour for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ last year, Jena Malone was back on the red carpet on Thursday evening (February 5) for the ‘Nobody Wants the Night’ (Nadie quiere la noche) opening night premiere during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival held at the Berlinale Palace in Berlin, Germany.

The flame-haired actress never does things by halves, and don’t we love her for that?

Here we see her take on after-dark glamour with a rebellious edge wearing a bold sequin flower-power design by Thom Browne featuring a double slit on the skirt.

Letting this dramatic top and skirt speak for itself, just kohl-rimmed eyes and a slicked-back do rounded out her jaw-dropping look.

Jena Malone In Adam Selman - 2015 Art Of Elysium HEAVEN Gala

Jena Malone attended The Art of Elysium 8th Annual HEAVEN Gala at Hangar 8 on Saturday (January 10) in Santa Monica, California.

‘The Hunger Games’ actress wore an Adam Selman Spring 2015 short sleeve tee gown accented with pearl detailing.

For me this gown embodies the idea of easy dressing for a playful, sexy, fearless woman, all which Jena is.

Continuing to rock that flame-hair which give this look all the colour it needs, she completed her look with smoky eyes and a Thale Blanc ‘Anjelica Pearl’ clutch.
