Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

On Friday (February 13) Fendi celebrated the opening of their New York flagship store during New York Fashion Week.

Rihanna: The singer, who designed a 3Baguette and micro baguette in aid of her Clara Lionel Foundation, wore a bronze leather Fendi archive dress styled with a pink chinchilla coat and Manolo Blahnik sandals. The look would’ve worked better sans coat.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The actress opted to go sans fur wearing a Fendi Spring 2015 look that was a feast for the eyes with its many colours, fabrications and layers. The smoky eye was perhaps too heavy for my liking, but I’m too distracted by her custom 3Baguette bag and stunning sandals.

Hailee Steinfeld: My first thought was that it was refreshing to see the young star in colour, then I realised she does often embrace colour but not always as boldly as this Pre-Fall 2015 look. A part of me feels there is too much going on, but the right side of my brain loves it from head to toe.

Prada The Iconoclasts, New York 2015

Prada The Iconoclasts, New York 2015

Prada hosted an evening to celebrate the latest chapter of ‘The Iconoclasts’ installation project with a private viewing of their collaboration with distinguished costume designer Arianne Phillips during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (February 12).

Hailee Steinfeld: Even with the vivid print of the trousers and the steely blue colour of her top, what captivates me here is her makeup, especially that plump red lip. The look itself is an eclectic mix of pieces from Prada’s Spring 2015 collection featuring a coat with contrast stitching, which was a signature of said collection.

Bonnie Wright: The British actress has long been a member of the Prada family. On this occasion she wore a Prada contrast-stitch dress that echoes her style sensibility: simple, classic, no fuss.

Gabrielle Union: The ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress was not about to let the sub-zero temperatures of the city come between her and her Prada crop-top look. The touch of sparkle accented on her pleated skirt gives this causal offering an after-dark flourish. Black Prada sandals and Vale jewels completed her easy breezy look.

Hailee Steinfeld In Stella McCartney – 2015 InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards Post-Party

Hailee Steinfeld In Stella McCartney - 2015 InStyle and Warner Bros Golden Globe Awards Post-Party

Hailee Steinfeld attended the 2015 InStyle and Warner Bros. 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Post-Party held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, California.

There is often a tendency for some celebs at the parties to dress like they attended the main event, but Hailee played it right, wearing a Stella McCartney paisley-print Resort 2015 dress.

I love the carefree feel of this look, which is spliced with lace and crochet panels for a more alluring twist.

Simple Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals completed her look.

Hailee Steinfeld attended the W Magazine Shooting Stars Exhibit Opening held at the Wilshire May Company Building on Friday (January 9) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Calvin Klein Collection Pre-Fall 2015 ivory turtleneck dress styled with black accessories.

I love how this geometrically-driven piece has an underlying cool edge.

We always expect something sweet from Hailee, so I like that she took a side step on this occasion.

Esprit Dior Tokyo 2015 Front Row

Esprit Dior Tokyo 2015 Front Row

A trio of Dior-outfitted darlings showed up for the Esprit Dior Tokyo 2015 Fashion Show at Ryogoku Kokugikan on Thursday (December 11) in Japan. However, their looks couldn’t have been more different.

Hailee Steinfeld: The starlet donned a Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture embroidered, off-white silk cocoon-shaped dress with patent Dior pumps. Worn with nude makeup and a slick updo, the look follows Hailee’s sophisticated yet sweet style. Yet the hemline fell a few centimetres too short and the overall effect was too precious for my liking. You may remember that Angelababy wore a similar dress.

Audrey Tautou: The French star wore a Christian Dior grey wool embroidered coat with a Dior black wool top and cropped black pants, all accessorized with Dior T-bar heels and a mini Dior “Bar” bag. I’m not a fan of the shrunken silhouette of the coat or its gaping front.

Crystal Kay: Bringing a shock of colour to the front row, the Japanese recording artist stood out in a Christian Dior Fall 2014 orange silk dress worn with a Dior bright blue wool coat and a lemon-yellow Dior clutch. The contrasting hues surprisingly all worked together, yet it was the embellished nude Dior heels that really didn’t match here.
