Fergie In Gucci – ‘Safe Haven’ LA Premiere

Fergie hit the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Tuesday evening to support hubby, Josh Duhamel, and his co-star, Julianne Hough, for the LA premiere of their latest movie, ‘Safe Haven’.

The singer wore a Gucci Resort 2013 dress.

Her black silk shift dress, with black-and-gold three-dimensional floral embroidery, was styled with a matching Alexander McQueen skull knuckle clutch and simple black sandals.

Fergie made the smart move of wearing her hair up, but the black clip was one accessory too many.

It’s been a while since I liked a Fergie look from head-to-toe.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Fergie In Oliver Tolentino & Song Jia In Stella McCartney

Fergie was your Best Dressed this week, wearing an Oliver Tolentino gown while hosting Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

The words ‘elegant’ and ‘Fergie’ aren’t always used in the same sentence, but she looked stunning on this occasion.

Maybe she’s taking a leaf out of Katy Perry’s book and vying for ‘Most Improved 2013’. We will have to wait and see, but I will not be holding my breath.

In a week where many Asian stars donned Stella McCartney, Song Jia’s Spring 2013 orange-and-white combo grabbed my attention.

The look may have appeared too casual for a red carpet look, but she styled it perfectly to make this sheer-sweater-and-dress combo work for the dressy event.

Fergie In Oliver Tolentino – Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2013

Fergie co-hosted Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve 2013 on Monday night with Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy.

The singer, who was on the West Coast hosting from CBS studios in California, wore an Oliver Tolentino chartreuse-yellow gown.

Her elegant one-shoulder silk-chiffon gown with a draped bodice and draped skirt was styled with spectacular earrings and glossy, wavy tresses.

Fergie isn’t on my list of favourite celebs, as I find her style beyond tacky and at times dated, but I have to give credit where credit is due on this occasion as this is a BDOTW-worthy look.

Fergie In Carven – Crustacean Restaurant

Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel were spotted leaving the Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday after lunch.

The singer was nice enough to stop and take pictures with a few fans that were waiting outside.

I hope none of them lied to her by saying they liked her outfit.

OK, so the pieces separately are fine, but together it’s a bit of a disaster.

Fergie wore a Carven brown blouse with the brand’s signature twisted front, which isn’t very flattering on the singer considering her ample chest. It looks like she tried to strap down her boobs.

I see where she was going with the orange blazer as it offsets the orange hue on her Carven Resort 2012 mountain-print shorts, but between the twisted top and the blazer, the look just feels top heavy.

She accessorized with a Goyard shoulder bag plus a cream Louis Vuitton bag, aviator shades and brogues with a striped platform.
