Eva Longoria In David Koma – Tribeca Talks: After the Movie: ‘Food Chains’

Eva Longoria In David Koma - Tribeca Talks After the Movie 'Food Chains'

Eva Longoria attended Tribeca Talks: After the Movie: ‘Food Chains’ during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival held at SVA Theater on Saturday (April 26) in New York City.

With Cannes just around the corner, it’s time for Eva to start upping her red carpet looks.

On this occasion she kept to a familiar fitted style when wearing a look from one of her favourite designers, David Koma.

The black halter dress with a leather and lace construction at the neckline was styled with simple black pumps and a snakeskin clutch for added interest.

Sweeping bangs, smoky eyes and a glossy nude lip completed her look.

Eva Longoria In Rubin Singer – ‘Border’ Guadalajara Film Festival Presentation

Eva Longoria In Rubin Singer - 'Border' Guadalajara Film Festival Presentation

Eva Longoria attended the presentation of the movie ‘Border’ held during the International Film Festival of Guadalajara on Sunday (March 23) in Guadalajara, Mexico.

One word kept coming to mind when I was looking at Eva in this Rubin Singer dress, and that word was ‘no’.

No to the pukey pink colour, no to the shape of the neckline, no to the way this dress look makes her shoulders look so broad, no to the over-complicated hemline, no to that foundation – which is perhaps two shades too light for her skin – and finally a big no to the bangs.

I have been undecided with regards to the bangs for a while, but this whole look has forced me to finally jump off the fence.

Cannes can’t come around soon enough for Eva.

Eva Longoria In David Koma – Ocean Drive Magazine Spring Fashion Issue Debut

Eva Longoria In David Koma - Ocean Drive Magazine Spring Fashion Issue Debut

Eva Longoria attended the Ocean Drive Magazine Spring Fashion Issue Debut at Cavalli Miami on Friday (March 14) in Miami Beach, Florida.

Opting for a red satin-trimmed David Koma dress in a body-con silhouette to show off her taut figure, the actress styled the look with gold jewels, including an ‘Eva’ nameplate necklace and Cartier bracelet, and a pair of nude sandals.

Eva’s style is hit and miss outside of Cannes Film Festival but I find myself appreciating all that is good about this look, even though I’m still trying to get used to her new bangs.

Eva Longoria In Philosophy – ‘Paycheck To Paycheck’ LA Premiere

Eva Longoria In Philosophy - 'Paycheck To Paycheck' LA Premiere

Eva Longoria attended the premiere of HBO Documentary Films’ ‘Paycheck To Paycheck’ at the Linwood Dunn Theater at the Pickford Center for Motion Study on Monday (March 10) in Hollywood, California.

Showing off her new bangs, the actress wore a Philosophy navy-and-white tweed dress styled with a black and gold trimmed Brian Atwood clutch and white Louboutin pumps.

Her dress is perfect for a low-key premiere but I can’t say I’m too fond of the clutch, which feels a bit out of place here.

Are you liking the new bangs?

Eva Longoria In Georges Hobeika Couture – Unite4:humanity

Eva Longoria In Georges Hobeika Couture - unite4humianity

Eva Longoria added a powerful hit of colour to the last night’s unite4:humanity at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Piling on the glamour, Eva wore a Georges Hobeika Couture figure-hugging pink dress with embellished funnel neck and hem which perfectly showed off her amazing figure.

With her hair back-combed and slicked back and dark nail polish to complement Eva’s dramatic eye make-up, this was a seriously full-on look.

While I love her daring approach to colour and confidence in mixing colours with a pair of red Christian Louboutin pumps, there is just too much going on with this look, especially for such a petite frame.

Eva looked radiant the previous night in an ivory Philosophy ensemble and I much prefer her less-is-more approach. Do you agree, or do you prefer her more stand-out look?
