2010 Emmy Awards – Emily Blunt In Christian Dior

Emily Blunt seem to be keen to take a back seat and allow it to be her husband John Krasinski’s night at the 2010 Emmy Awards.

He’s presenting.

She stood quitely in the wings as he was interviewed wearing a gorgeous lavender Christian Dior Resort 2010 gown.

It looks like Emily has given up on her bling-tastic red carpet look and opted for a more serene red carpet look since getting married.

In the past she’s wouldn’t hit the red carpet without wearing a heavily embellished dress by a Lebanese designer.

Her one-shoulder Dior gown with white floral appliqués was teamed with a Lauren Merkin oval shaped clutch.

I adore everything about this look.

Her hair really gives this that old Hollywood vibe.

2010 Women In Film Crystal Lucy Awards – Emily Blunt In Elie Saab

Emily Blunt also attended the 2010 Women In Film Crystal Lucy Awards in LA last night.

The Brit actress wore dress by my favourite designer Elie Saab.

Her Elie Saab Fall 2010 knee length draped chiffon and lace dress looks like it has been slightly modified to be less revealing around the bust area.

I just love the lace and ruffled detail on the side of this dress.

Emily’s pulled back hair is accented with a silver hair accessory, whilst she carried a blush Lauren Merkin ‘Allie’ envelope clutch which complemented her Sergio Rossi heels.

This looks is simple, sexy and elegant all at the same time and I absolutely love it.

Giorgio Armani Honors “Fair Game” Cocktail Party

Before the amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala, celebs gathered on board Giorgio Armani’s boat to honor the extraordinary work of the cast and crew of the upcoming Doug Liman-directed thriller “Fair Game.”

Elizabeth Banks opted to wear a cobalt blue, jewel encrusted Giorgio Armani Spring 2010 strapless dress with a thigh-high split.

I love her fresh take on this look, as she wore the dress without the runway belt and the shimmering blue layered skirt.

Natalie Imbruglia wore a cute striped Emporio Armani Spring 2010 skirt paired with a white top.

Her nautical look was quite appropriate considering the event took place on a boat.

Emily Blunt went totally against the grain and opted for a white Dior one shoulder gown which had silver embroidery on the skirt.

When did it stop becoming a faux pa to attend a designers event wearing another designer?

2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala – Emily Blunt In Georges Chakra Edition

Emily Blunt stood out on the red carpet at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala this evening wearing a striking red dress.

I was only able to identify her Georges Chakra Edition Fall 2010 gown by the picture of her from the back.

That was because the same sequin embroidery detail appears on the front of another red gown in this collection.

This gown doesn’t wow on the runway, but with Emily’s smokin’ hot body, that ‘work it girl’ pose and that red hot lipstick she totally owns this look.

So freshing not see her bedazzled with bling.
