Emily Blunt’s ‘Arthur Newman’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere Makeup

Makeup artist Jenn Streicher made sure that Emily Blunt stood out at the Toronto Film Festival’s premiere of ‘Arthur Newman’ this week with her flawless skin and a beautiful pink lip.

Jenn gave us a peek inside her make-up bag and let us in on how she achieved this look.

‘To prep Emily’s skin I used La Mer The Eye Concentrate, followed by Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and Hourglass Veil Fluid Foundation in No. 1.5: Nude.

‘I’m also a fan of Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion in Medium for a great, even-looking décolleté, and arms and legs.’

‘On the cheeks I used Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Bronze.’

‘For Emily’s eyes I went for Chanel Ombré D’eau in #60 Sand (this has been discontinued so you could try Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Amethyst) and Cle du Peau Beaute Eyebrow & Eyeline Compact in 2.’

‘And for the lips I chose Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Demure, which is actually described as a ‘bright purpled magenta’ – I’m a huge fan of this line – topped off with some M.A.C. Cosmetics Clear Lipglass.’

Emily Blunt In Tory Burch for the Green Carpet Challenge – ‘Arthur Newman’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Emily Blunt got in touch with her ethical side for the ‘Arthur Newman’ premiere during the 2012 Toronto Film Festival last night.

For the event, the British actress opted for a dress made by Tory Burch for the Green Carpet Challenge.

All I can say is ‘bravo.’

The white ruched dress is made from silk tulle reclaimed from Tory Burch’s end of line and archive store, while the neckline is constructed of recycled brass and features floral motifs made from amber and light topaz.

Although ruching of this intensity is difficult to pull off because it adds so much extra bulk, Emily is able to carry this look off.

Grey heels, patterned clutch and a hot pink lip also help to lift this eco chic ensemble.

Emily Blunt In Roland Mouret – ‘Looper’ Opening Night 2012 Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Emily Blunt attended the opening night of the 2012 Toronto Film Festival yesterday for the premiere of her film ‘Looper’.

The actress showed off her petite frame in a formfitting Roland Mouret dress.

I love this darker red hue on Emily and the designer’s signature ‘Galaxy’ neckline works well. The strappy sandals are also a nice choice. I do, however, wish she’d worn her hair in a sleeker style.

Matching Lorraine Schwartz bangles on each wrist and a pair of pretty Lorraine Schwartz rings completed her look.

Emily Blunt In Christian Dior – ‘Looper’ Panel: Comic-Con 2012

Emily Blunt, who is a fan favorite both on and off the screen, attended the ‘Looper’ panel Friday at Comic-Con International 2012, held in San Diego, California.

Blunt was the image of ladylike perfection in a cream Christian Dior dress. While we’ve seen stars take a much more literal interpretation of the Comic-Con dresscode (paging Jessica Biel), Blunt does manage to spice up her demure frock with a good old pop of color — courtesy of Sergio Rossi and Anna Beck jewels.

I love Blunts bold lip and no-fuss accessories, but since Comic-Con is the perfect opportunity to get a little playful with wardrobe choices, it would have been fun to see her take a step outside of the proverbial box. A statement necklace or bold belt would have added another dimension to Dior’s “perfect for tea” creation.

What do you think? Are you head over heels for Blunt’s comic book chic look? Or do you think she could have pushed the envelope a little more?

Emily Blunt In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ Germany Photocall

Emily Blunt joined her ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ co-star Jason Segal for a photocall in Germany on Monday evening.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2012 ‘Amu’ dress.

The red wool-crepe dress features a cowling neckline and a navy back-panel, as well as an unexpected yellow trim along the side.

Nude Giuseppe Zanotti booties help elongate the actress’ legs.

Whilst I love these chic peep-toes, Emily may have been better off with classic nude heels to match the dress’ lady-like silhouette.

A shoulder-length ombre bob, Ista jewelry and simple makeup finish her look.

You can buy Emily’s Roksanda Ilincic dress from Net-A-Porter.com, farfetch.com, Matches Fashion,
Browns Fashion and Selfridges.

Emily Blunt In Calvin Klein – 2012 Met Gala

Emily Blunt joined John Krasinski on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala, which was held on Monday night in New York City.

She looked amazing wearing a Calvin Klein pretty pink gown with cut-outs at the sides and an open back.

With her hair worn down, the British actress completed her look with dark eye makeup and a pink lip shade, statement jewelry and a crystal-embellished box clutch.

Is it me, or are all these Calvin Klein gowns starting to look the same?

It’s like they just keep putting out different variations of Emma Stone’s 2011 Golden Globes dress and Jennifer Lawrence’s Oscar 2011 dress.
