Elizabeth Olsen In Chloé – Late Show with David Letterman

Elizabeth Olsen In Chloé - Late Show with David Letterman

Elizabeth Olsen made a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ on Tuesday (May 6) in New York City, where she talked about the making of the monster movie spectacle ‘Godzilla’.

Opting for her favourite brand Chloé once again, the actress selected pieces from the Spring 2014 collection.

What I love about this look is that each piece is interesting in its own right, starting with the olive-green collarless blazer featuring bold shoulders and tie cuffs.

The white tank top is elevated with a shimmering coral woven jacquard pattern and her cloqué textural tapered patterned trousers add a luxurious touch to her chic look.

Accessorized with her favourite gold pendant necklace and snakeskin shoes, this is my favourite look from her this week, and that’s including her Met Gala look.

Elizabeth Olsen attended a party held at Buddakan in New York City to celebrate her Flaunt Magazine cover on Tuesday (May 6).

The actress wore a spaghetti strap Issa ‘Cecilia’ dress from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection punctuated by an exuberant collection of grosgrain bows along the neckline.

She styled her basic-with-a-flourish slim fit dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and gold jewels.

Elizabeth Olsen In Chloé – The Today Show

Elizabeth Olsen was spotted leaving the NBC Studios in New York City following her guest appearance on the ‘Today’ show today (May 7).

The actress wore a Chloe Fall 2014 v-neck chiffon frock with a loose, fluid silhouette.

I love how the look is injected with a sunny and energetic print which screams Spring despite its Fall label.

The look was styled with a Marni Spring 2014 ‘Trunk’ olive green and black leather shoulder bag and snakeskin pumps.

Elizabeth Olsen In Miu Miu – 2014 Met Gala

Elizabeth Olsen In Miu Miu - 2014 Met Gala

Elizabeth Olsen also attended the 2014 Met Gala, hosted this evening (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

In a sea of sweeping gowns, the starlet stood out for her head-to-toe Miu Miu look, eschewing a long dress in favour of a custom-designed pale blue mini, encrusted with heavy-handed crystal embroidery along the décolleté and sleeves.

In what can only be explained by the signature quirk of Miuccia Prada, Elizabeth paired the pastel frock with primary colours via red and yellow satin strappy sandals.

Not content to stop there, another strange, clashing tone was added via a metal-framed turquoise satin clutch.

While from the neck up, Elizabeth was rather lovely with her smokey mauve eye and red lip, the rest of the ensemble had about as much appeal as a figure-skating costume, which is to say, hardly any at all.

From the failed illusion nude neckline to the over-the-top glittery embellishment and the long sleeves that came to a diamond point at the hand, all this look was missing was a pair of ice skates.

Miu Miu Fall 2014 Front Row

Miu Miu FROW

A host of stars, including many faces of the brand, took to the front row of Miu Miu’s Fall 2014 show in Paris, France this morning (March 5) during Paris Fashion Week.

Rihanna: After looking chic in Chanel yesterday, she looked a hot mess today at Miu Miu. Over-styled and overworked in garish colours, nothing from the knees up is appealing to me. She wore a Prada red nappa leather and black shearling overcoat, paired with a tobacco and yellow intarsia-knit cashmere sweater and purple silk scarf, all from the Prada Fall 2014 collection.

Lea Seydoux: The French beauty cleanses my eyes from Rihanna’s car-crash Couture, wearing a pretty pastel look featuring a petal-pink printed silk blouse and ‘Ciré’ vinyl pencil skirt with Jimmy Choo bronze heels. While the look reads spring, it is so very pretty and styled effortlessly that I just can’t help but fall in love with it.
