Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Elizabeth Banks continues her amazing run on the red carpet since her return to promote her new movie, ‘Man On A Ledge’.

The blonde beauty was radiant on the red carpet yesterday evening wearing an Emilio Pucci Resort 2012 mini dress.

Her fully embellished gold gown with a keyhole open back was teamed with matching accessories.

They included Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Max’ sandals and a Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

Once again her hair and makeup are flawless. She really is on a roll.

Following her appearance on ‘Late Night With David Letterman’, Elizabeth Banks took to the red carpet this evening in New York City for the screening of her new movie, ‘Man on a Ledge.’

The actress donned a sexy Versace Spring 2012 mini dress.

As Elizabeth is very much a Versace girl, having worn the brand on many occasions, I’m not surprised to see her wearing this one-shoulder black dress with intricate black leather and gold H.Sternstudded details with pleated chiffon draping on one side.

I’m obsessed with the sultry makeup and the hair.

She’s totally transformed herself from her earlier look, but I much prefer the heels worn by the model.

I can let the tights slide, but not those booties.

The look was edgy enough without them.

Do you agree?

H.Stern gold Copernicus stud earrings and an Ippolita gold Glamazon ring completed her look.

It can be difficult to look stylish on a cold evening in New York City when you just want to dress for warmth, but Elizabeth Banks had no such issue whilst arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater for a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

The actress wore an Andrew Gn Spring 2012 coat.

Her short-sleeve brocade coat with origami details was paired with two-tone leather gloves.

The rest of her accessories included Tabitha Simmons ‘Esther’ boots and a red Prada bag.

A simple updo with swept bangs completed her look.

Despite this being a head-to-toe black I do like it as cach piece is interesting and a pop of colour via the bag was a welcome finishing touch.

Elizabeth Banks was one of the few stars to add some colour to the red carpet last night when she attended the LA Premiere for “Our Idiot Brother.”

She wore a colour-block Prada Resort 2012 dress which I like and dislike in equal measures.

From the front we can see black and pink panels, but the colour-blocking get a tad out of control at the back with additional dove grey and mint green panels.

I think the dress already has enough going on with embellished neckline without adding more focus to the back.

Black Miu Miu Suede peep-toe pumps and a pink Prada clutch complete her look.

Retro curls, Irene Neuwirth jewels and flawless make-up completed Elizabeth’s look, but the back of the dress almost ruins all that is good with this look.

Not Feeling It Award
Elizabeth Banks attended the 2011 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA last night.

She wore a fitted J.Mendel Resort 2012 dress.

Her scarlet red leather mini fitted dress features strips of fabric which drape asymmetrically off the skirt.

The dress really isn’t saying much plus I really dislike the details on the skirt. This dress would’ve looked so much better without that detail.

Elizabeth opted for neutral accessories, including nude platform peep-toes and an Edie Parker ‘Nude Lara’ clutch.

Bright red lips, side swept bangs and two cocktail rings complete Elizabeth’s look.

Least Favourite Brand Ambassador Award
Elizabeth Banks wore her favourite brand on the red carpet at the BAFTA Brits To Watch Event which was held at the Belasco Theatre in LA yesterday evening.

The blonde actress opted for a Versace gown from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her one shoulder white cady gown with gold Medusa buttons and side pocket details was paired with a gold Versace clutch and matching Versace shoes.

I wasn’t a fan of this gown on the runway, and despite the fact that I prefer Elizabeth’s accessories she still does nothing to make me fall in love with this look.
