Christina Aguilera In Marchesa – “Burlesque” Madrid Premiere

Christina Aguilera opted for black again at the “Burlesque” Madrid Premiere last night.

She wore a Marchesa Resort 2011 dress.

The black fringed embellished dress with plunging neckline and an open back was paired with her favourite YSL Tribtoo patent leather pumps.

Her bright red lips and matching nails provided the only pops of colour from her look.

I really hope Christina is able to define her style and bring back the wow factor that has been missing from this promo tour.

I’m more interested in the dress than her in the dress. She fails to add any sparkle to it.

Christina Aguilera In Elie Saab – “Burlesque” Tokyo Premiere

Christina Aguilera opted for a more demure look when she attended the “Burlesque” Tokyo Premiere at Roppongi Hills Arena in Japan earlier today.

It looks like all our bad girls are becoming good girls.

The star formerly known as Xtina wore an Elie Saab Spring 2010 black dress with YSL pumps.

Her capped sleeved dress with shoulder pads has a plunging ruched neckline and exposed zippers.

Although I miss the sexy Christina, I do love this look.

For once the make-up looks beautiful and not applied too heavily, and her hair looks pretty so I find nothing to fault.

Her Japanese hosts presented her with the cake this week because Burlesque opens in cinemas on December 18 which is her birthday.

Christina Aguilera In Elie Saab – “Burlesque” LA Premiere

Christina Aguilera attended the “Burlesque” LA Premiere with her co-star Cher at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater last night.

Christina wore an Elie Saab Fall 2008 gown.

I love the emerald green colour and the modifications on the bodice, but I can’t help but feel slightly let down by Christina.

I really expected her to go all out for this premiere. Guns blazing.

Had her look been too literal in relation to the movie it would’ve come off cheesy, but I would’ve preferred a bit of Xtina on the red carpet last night.

Demure Christina doesn’t quite work for me.

Christian Louboutin Eugenie pumps and Neil Lane jewels completed the look.

LACMA Presents ‘The Unmasking’ – Christina Aguilera In Atelier Versace

This weekend Christina Aguilera attended the opening of The Lynda & Stewart Resnick Exhibition Gala held in LA at the LACMA.

The singer showed off her sexy fuller figure wearing a silk chiffon Atelier Versace Spring 2008 gown.

Her champagne coloured low back gown was embellished with champagne and gold beads around the waist.

This is the 2nd Atelier Versace gown Christina has worn this year.

The reason why this works so well, is because she has the right attitude to carry such divalious gown.

She’s modified the gown so she’s not showing off too much boobage, which she may not have done 5 years ago.

My only problem with this look is the hair and make-up.

‘Bionic’ Album Release Party – Christina Aguilera In Mark Fast

Last night Christina Aguilera celebrated the launch of her new album ‘Bionic’ with a party at ‘Avenue’ in New York City.

The singer looked fabulous wearing a Mark Fast peal neckline knit dress from the Spring 2010 collection.

Someone like Christina can wear this type of look and we don’t immediately think ‘try-hard’.

The dress with its grey faux-pearl beads embedded in the high round neckline, plus cut-out details on the bust and shoulders suits her sexy daring personality.

Stephen Webster jewels, sexy bold lips and Christian Louboutin Calypso heels complete this stand out look.

2010 MTV Movie Awards – Christina Aguilera In Atelier Versace

Best Couture Award
I always hoped that someone fearless would wear this stunning Atelier Versace Spring 2010 dress, and I got my wish at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards last night.

Christina Aguilera wore a stunning black Atelier Versace Spring 2010 dress with chain straps, a criss-cross front and an asymmetrical flowing train.

Those who read my review of this collection may remember that I said that the skirt changes colour when light is reflected on it, which you can clearly see that on Christina’s dress.

Her hair had a retro feel and she wore her now trademark red lippie.

Even though I loved the dress I hated the shoes.

YSL Trib Two’s? Really?

I thought celebs were over these heels 2 years on.

Chain embellished strappy sandals would have worked better for me, but it takes nothing away from the fact that I like Christina in this dress.
