Carla Gugino In Amanda Wakeley – Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon

Carla Gugino joined a host of stars on the red carpet at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday afternoon, for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon.

Jumping on the orange trend, which celebrities have been embracing the last few weeks, the actress looked gorgeous wearing an Amanda Wakeley Fall 2011 dress.

Her fitted scuba dress with double straps and an open back was styled with complementary gold accessories including H.Stern’s Oscar Niemeyer bracelet.

I love the clutch, gold hooped earrings and cuff, but those python pumps should’ve been replaced with some more elegant strappy sandals or peep-toes.

Naturally wavy tresses and a glossy pink lip colour completed her look.

Carla Gugino In Carolina Herrera – ‘The Mighty Macs’ World Premiere

Carla Gugino looked very colourful on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘The Mighty Macs’ at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia on Friday night.

She was radiant wearing a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2010 dress.

Her multi-colour abstract brushstroke print dress was accented with a cute red bow and teamed with Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ pumps.

Gorgeous waves, drop earrings and bold red lips completed her look.

Carla’s style tends to be very inconsistent for me. On this occasion I love this look which has a retro vibe despite her very modern dress, but wish she had opted for dainty red strappy sandals.

Carla Gugino In Zac Posen – “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” LA Premiere

Carla Gugino showed off her beautiful curves on the red carpet at the “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” LA Premiere this weekend.

Her sky blue Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011 dress fit like a glove.

The body-skimming sheath is sexy, yet elegant with a very sleek silhouette and embroidered trims around the pockets and shoulders.

I love her tan accessories which don’t take any focus away from her dress.

This has to be the best I have seen Carla look on the red carpet in a long while.

BaubleBar and Jamie Wolf jewels completed her look.

Jamie Chung, Vanessa Hudgens & Carla Gugino – “Sucker Punch” London Premiere

The final 3 stars on the red carpet for tonight’s “Sucker Punch” London Premiere are Jamie Chung, Vanessa Hudgens and Carla Gugino.

Jamie wore a hot pink D&G haltered dress with black Sergio Rossi pumps, Vhernier jewels and hot pink lips.

It’s a cute dress, but it doesn’t come close to her Giambattista Valli dress from last week. In my opinion this whole look is a huge step down.

Vanessa wore a beautiful white silk Alberta Ferretti gown with green beading detail around the neckline. Her stunning dress has sexy plunge v back.

It’s a shame that the dress – yet again – appears to be hanging off her.

Carla opted for a bold pop of colour like Jamie.

Her cobalt blue dress was paired with a Ferragamo clutch, De Beers jewels and gold heels.

Carla Gugino In Dolce & Gabbana – “Every Day” LA Premiere

Carla Gugino shimmered her way down the red carpet at the “Every Day” LA Premiere this week.

The brunette actress wore a red hot fully sequined Dolce & Gabbana sleeveless dress.

I love the striking colour on her, but I’m not too crazy about what’s going on around her waist.

I wish the elasticated waistband was covered by either a contrasting or same coloured belt.

Can someone please tell me if there is a shoe famine in LA, because her gold heels are hideous and do not work with her dress.

Carla Gugino In Georges Chakra Couture – “Faster” LA Premiere

Carla Gugino walked the red carpet in LA last night for the premiere of her new movie, “Faster” which also stars Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock.”

She shimmered wearing a Georges Chakra Couture dress.

I’m a huge fan of Carla’s style and Georges designs, but this sparkling short silver lame dress with radiating bursts of rhinestones doesn’t quite work for me.

In order for me to like this dress it would have to be modified into a spaghetti strap dress and remove the yoke, but even then I think I may still struggle to like it.

Her hair and make-up are beautiful though.

Silver peep-toes and a matching clutch complete her look.
