Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Looks like Camilla Belle is back.

This is her 2nd red carpet appearance in as many weeks and I’m sure many more will follow.

The difference between this run and her other red carpet appearances is that she actually has a movie to promote, “Prada to Nada”.

Camille looked radiant at the 2010 Freedom Awards in LA last night wearing a Derek Lam Spring 2011 ensemble.

The look consisted of a nude embellished vest and a black skirt with a perforated detail around the hemline.

She carried a black clutch and completed her look with Brian Atwood Katie Lee patent-leather sandals.

As much as I judge her, I can’t fault her perfection on the red carpet.

She looks stunning.

Ralph Lauren hosted an elegant evening of cocktails in honor of Gloria Vanderbilt at the new women’s store at 888 Madison Avenue, to celebrate the publication of ‘The World of Gloria Vanderbilt’ by Wendy Goodman.

Camilla Belle returns to the party scene after a brief hiatus.

She becomes the first celebrity to wear a look from the Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 collection.

Her look included a white cotton mens shirt paired with a silk georgette beaded fringe skirt.

I prefer her mahogany belt, but I don’t like her brown suede pumps. Not only are they not well co-ordinated with the rest of her look, but they also feel really heavy.

We can’t see much of Sarah Jessica Parker’s look as she wearing a gorgeous wool coat, which just gives us a peek of her embellished dress with a floral embroidered hem.

A white bag and sparkling peep-toes complete her look.

Uma Thurman opted for a chic head-to-toe black Ralph Lauren look.

The 2010 Cartier International Polo event took place at the Guards Polo Club in Egham, England last week and a host of stars attended.

I shouldn’t be, but I was surprised to see Camilla Belle at the event. At this point I don’t think there is an event she hasn’t attended this year.

Camilla did look good wearing a Carolina Herrera Resort 2011 ensemble which included a crisp white sleeveless ruffled top, and a ruffle-hem print skirt which was accented with a fuschia pink belt.

A white quilted bag, taupe slingbacks and pink lips to match her belt completed the look.

I’m not sure what she was doing there (or at any event) but if her only purpose was to look pretty she succeeded.

Katherine Jenkins wore a white Lanvin asymmetric ruffle dress which she’s worn once before.

This dress has also been worn by Michelle Williams at the “Shutter Island” New York Premiere and Kim Cattrall at the Laurence Olivier Awards in London.

Champagne wedges complete her look.

Like everyone else at this event, Leslie Mann opted for a summery dress wearing a floral print Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2010 dress.

Even though she has black trims on her dress, I would’ve preferred a lighter coloured shoe.

Singer Paloma Faith is known for her alternative approach to fashion, so I wouldn’t expect a summery dress from her.

She wore a floral print Dolce & Gabbana dress which she paired with a stunning Philip Treacy hat and yellow platform heels.

Cat Deeley looked pretty wearing a vintage maxi dress with her Balenciaga bag.

Geri Halliwell actually looked really good wearing this blue mini Herve Leger dress which we recently saw on Stephanie Pratt.

The former Spice Girl wore her dress with gold Louboutin’s whilst carrying a silver Louis Vuitton bag.

Despite her dress being a re-run, Katherine Jenkins is my favourite here.

I wondered how long it would take for Camilla Belle to reappear on the red carpet after Cannes Film Festival. It took nearly 5 weeks.

That’s a long time for her to be out, so her return is welcome.

She was one of the guests at the “Rouge Dior Lipstick Launch Party” which was held in Paris this week.

I guess Camilla is shooting a movie in France.

The actress looked beautiful as always wearing a lime green Christian Dior Resort 2011 chiffon dress.

She’s the second star to wear a look from this collection after Natalie Portman.

Surprisingly we are yet to see Dior devotees Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard grace the red carpet with looks from this collection.

Camilla’s look was paired with the same Lady Dior bag the model carried on the runway, plus delicate pink Dior bow front heels from the same resort collection.

She did however try to make the look her own by wearing the bow slightly to the side.

UPDATE: It’s believed that Camilla will be fronting the new “Rouge Dior Lipstick” campaign.

Camilla Belle wears her 3rd Gucci gown after 3 red carpet appearances during Cannes Film Festival, so I think it’s not very safe to assume she’s officially at Cannes to support Gucci.

The actress wore her second Gucci Première look tonight at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala.

This time she wore a strapless black Gucci Première gown with a sheer panel on bodice.

Around that panel the gown was decorated with black micro beading and swarovski crystal details.

A black crystal beaded box clutch and a deep pink lip shade completed her look.

The crystals and the pop of colour on her lips saves this look from being boring.

It’s official Gucci have taken over Cannes Film Festival this year.

They threw a party yesterday with Vanity Fair honoring Martin Scorsese with many fabulous ladies attending – in Gucci of course.

Jennifer Lopez wore a one-of-a-kind pale grey one shoulder silk Gucci dress with pleated organza and georgette ruffle detail on the shoulder.

Her look was paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Mercury’ silver sandals.

I would’ve liked to have seen her in something more fitted.

Her host Frida Giannini wore one of my favourite dresses of this event.

She wore a self designed a one-of-a-kind Gucci grey halterneck dress with cutaway shoulder neckline, metal beaded embroidery and mirrored geometric stone detailed neckline.

Lea Seydoux has come a long way from her first red Cannes red carpet appearance at the Robin Hood premiere.

I love her in this one-of-a-kind strapless dark green pleated chiffon Gucci gown with horizontal drape detail on the bust and empire waistline.

Definitely one to watch.

Salma Hayek continues to wear nothing but Gucci during Cannes Film Festival, as she opted for a one-of-a-kind bronze paillette Gucci cap sleeved dress with a deep v-neck to show of her famous assets.

Naomi Watts opted for a sexy Gucci black sequined dress with an open back.

Camilla Belle shows why she is at Cannes Film Festival – to look pretty.

The actress was beyond gorgeous opting for a one-of-a-kind off the shoulder Gucci dress encrusted with gunmetal Swarovski stones, beads and sequins.

Gucci grey was obviously the colour of the night.
