Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kylie Minogue was the first to wear this Dolce & Gabbana sequined strapless dress way back in February 2009, when she walked the red carpet at the 2009 Brit Awards in London.

The Aussie singer wore her dress with those beautiful embellished grosgrain ribbons we saw presented during the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009 collection.

TV presenter Camila Alves wore the same dress this week when she attended the Samsungs Hope for Children Benefit in New York.

Her look was so effortless.

No jewels, no embellished belts and what appears to be no make-up. Just her beautiful face and her stunning dress.

Camila wins for me, not only because she looks so damn gorgeous but she also has more height to carry this look off perfectly.

Camila Alves looked truly stunning on the arm of Matthew McConaughey last night, as she channeled her inner Grecian goddess wearing a gorgeous teal asymmetrical Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2009 gown whilst sporting a curly updo.

Her look was completed with a silvery grey VBH Python Stinger clutch with Swarovski crystals and matching jewelry.

This genetically-blessed couple really sizzle together, and know how to light up the red carpet.

Sharon Stone continues to show off her fabulous body this white Herve Leger bandage gown.

Pilates? Yoga? She must tell us her secret.

I’m sure like me you would have noticed that Sharon presents at many events, she must be very entertaining host.

Michael Douglas followed in the footsteps of stars like Al Pacino, Meryl Streep and his dad Kirk Douglas, by receiving the 37th Annual AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.

Catherine Zeta-Jones always outshines her husband, and this event was no exception.

The Welsh actress old wore a strapless maroon Randi Rahm gown, with an embellished bodice and a very high split.

Everything is perfect apart from her hair. Is it me or does it look very limp?

Jane Seymour is another lady who always shines, this time aided by her cream swirling print shimmering gown.

Camila Alves sold the limelight from her partner Matthew McConaughey, as they walked the red carpet last night for his movie premiere.

She wore a very daring plunging nude maxi dress, which was covered paillettes of seaweed green and burnt orange.

Jennifer Garner made a post-baby return to the red carpet last night.

She dazzled in a draped black Rachel Roy gown, which she wore with multiple gold bangle, a gold clutch and a jade necklace.

Simply gorgeous.

You would be forgiven for thinking Camille Guaty fell out of a pharmacy, but her mini dress is actually covered in many multi-coloured beads.

Très uncomfortable to sit in I would imagine.

I really like this. It’s something different and fun to see on the red carpet.

Garcelle Beauvais always looks amazing.

Her two-tone Black Halo dress, with matching red accessories, is so adorable. I want this look.

Emma Stone punched up her black strapless dress, with a cute Miu Miu satin bow necklace, and some sexy strappy sandals.

Kate Bosworth looked so gorgeous and fresh faced at this event.

As co-host she wore grey silk embellished tank, with a lemon floor length chiffon skirt from the Chloé Fall 2009 collection, all whilst showing off an embellished cream Chloé bag.

It’s just so easy for Kate.

Zoe Saldana is doing her best to state her claim as the ‘Girl of the Moment’.

She gives us hit after red carpet hit, and this Chloé Spring 2009 dress comes second in my admiration after her red Prabal Gurung dress last week.

This ethereal white shift, with a keyhole detail, just oozes sweet sophistication.

Definitely one to continue to watch.

Leighton Meester is the a typical Chloé girl, cute, sassy, young and beautiful.

I love her look, but her satin apricot Spring 2009 dress looks like it needs adjusting a little. It kinda looks a bit twisted on her.

I simply adore her bracelet, her hair and flawless make up.

Christian Louboutin Dillian Flower pumps from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2009 collection complete the look.

Chloe Sevigny, who co-hosted this event with Kate, wore a navy blue pant suit from the Spring 2009 collection, under a white blazer with scalloped edged lapels from the same collection.

Like her co-host this is easy for Chloe, and I appreciated her efforts in not wearing Look 29 as presented, and mixing things up a little.

Looking as stylish as ever, Camilla Belle opted out of wearing white, like so many others, but that only made her stand out even more.

Her leather-look Chloé Pre-Fall 2009 LBD, had cute bow ties going down the back. It maybe black, but it ain’t safe. Just look at how short it is.

Two-tone Chloé Spring 2009 heels, and a black clutch complete the look.

Wow so many of my girl crushes graced this event. Fabulous overload.

The absolute beauty of Lake Bell’s look, is how simple, clean and fresh it all looks.

She never tries too hard, but always looks outstanding.

January Jones wore a Chloé draped Grecian gown, belted with a blush pink sash.

Her make-up was a flawless as her dress.

Maria Sharapova serves up an other ace, proving her off-court style is worthy of our admiration.

The plunge neck nude Pre-Fall 2009 dress, with the navy sash is fabulous, but her hair and heels lose her a few points.

Molly Sims opted for a champagne and black printed dress from the Chloe Pre-Fall 2009 collection, with clear embellishments.

I love this sassy dress, which she wore with Chloé Spring 2009 bow heels.

Amber Valletta’s Chloé Spring 2009 asymmetric dress, with a ruffled neckline is very chic, but her hairstyle really lets her down.

I love these peachy/nude colours on Camilla Alves.

Her look was from the Chloé Resort 2009 collection, which included a boyfriend blazer, tank top, embellished mini skirt, nude heels and a clutch I would die for.

Gaile Lai’s khaki Chloé Spring 2009 jumpsuit is so incredibly chic, but I really don’t like her choice of heels.

Ever Carradine picked the only dress from the Chloé Resort 2009 collection, which I never expected to see on the red carpet. I really don’t think this dress will flatter anyone.

Estelle’s black playsuit is well accessorized, but I still feel like she is very muted lately. She’s not the Estelle we are used to seeing.

Emma Stone’s cobalt blue long sleeved shift dress, was worn with Jimmy Choo Samoa Kid sandals.

Dear Agyness Deyn, we all know break-ups are tough, but remember you’re flying the flag for British fashion. Please dress more appropriately in future.

Debbie Matenopoulos presents The Daily 10, and during awards season she also presents Fashion Police.

Debbie, I think it’s time for you to turn yourself in.

She is wearing a Alice + Olivia Penelope party dress.

This is your second to last chance to give your shout outs for Best Dressed this week.
