TargetStyle, In Vogue

TargetStyle, In Vogue

The TargetStyle, in Vogue event was held at Cedar Lake in New York City on Wednesday (September 9), where Emily Ratajkowski, Amanda Seyfried, and Camila Alves were in attendance in remarkably coordinated ensembles despite their significant style differences.

Emily Ratajkowski: Familiarly sexy, the actress flaunted a Balmain Fall 2015 design that was unified by its use of allover lace. Clearly modified from the runway to be even more skin-baring, the top half of the belted bodysuit maintained the silhouette of the label’s plunging power blazers which created an interesting contrast to the sultry, see-through lace pants below. If nothing else, she looked entirely ready to rock out on a stage somewhere.

Amanda Seyfried: Adorably innocent with a hint of come-hither, seductive flair in the lace bra-like detailing, this RED Valentino Fall 2015 frock was a chic, quietly alluring take on the LBD.

Camila Alves: Likewise embracing the Target red colour scheme, Camila struck a pose in a form-fitting strapless dress that beautifully traced her hourglass curves. A matching sandal rather than nude would have created an even more seamless effect.

Camila Alves attended the 2015 Couture Council Awards Benefit Luncheon, which honored Manolo Blahnik and was hosted at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday (September 9).

Opting for a minimalist look that fused mannish lines with mod allure, she donned a Georges Hobeika Fall 2015 wide-legged jumpsuit, which was designed with a fresh twist given the peek-a-boo circle cutouts down the front.

She accessorized with Kurt Geiger heels, Monica Vinader jewels, and a Target clutch to finish the sleek chic statement.

Camila Alves In Gabriela Cadena – ‘The Sea Of Trees’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"The Sea Of Trees" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Camila Alves swept onto the red carpet for the premiere of ‘The Sea of Trees’ at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

Striking the dramatic profile that Cannes permits, the Brazilian beauty wore a Gabriela Cadena gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Perhaps attempting to balance the impressive tulle-like layers of the long skirt, she overcompensated a bit with the extravagant diamond pendant necklace.

I would also say that the piece drew unnecessary attention to the deep plunge of the neckline, which wasn’t the most flattering silhouette for Camila.

Camila Alves In Milly – Mack, Jack & McConaughey Charity Gala

Camila Alves In Milly - Mack, Jack & McConaughey Charity Gala

Camila Alves and husband Matthew McConaughey attended the third Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity gala at ACL Live on Thursday (April 16) in Austin, Texas.

Following The Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection Launch Party, the beauty kept the summery vibes going wearing a Milly Spring 2015 dress.

I love how the painterly flower pattern charges the classic, flattering silhouette of this charming gown.

It’s such a shame Matthew attempting to transform into Christian Bale’s Moses character from ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ is so distracting.

The Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection Launch Party

The Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection Launch Party

With spring heating up, The Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection, full of preppy Palm Beach-inspired resort wear, launches on Sunday (April 19), in a well-timed dose of sunshine and colour.

The 250 piece collection for women and girls, home, entertaining, travel, and beach gear, priced from $2 to $150, features 15 prints created by Lilly Pulitzer for this limited edition line.

To celebrate, the designer hosted a launch party alongside Target at Bryant Park Grill on Wednesday (April 15) in New York City, with plenty of gorgeous girls showcasing the pieces we will fighting over this weekend.

Emmy Rossum: Working a swinging 60s style, there is always something so captivating about Emmy. Here’s it’s the bubblegum styling, which elevates the sweet nature of her fitted frock.

Kate Bosworth: While I love the tropical fusion of her dress, I can’t help but be let down by the styling. Those flat shoes worked for her previous look, but are quite drab with her dress. I can’t say I’m a fan of the Mark Cross bag either.

Camila Alves: I love how the vivid floral print is enhanced against her caramel skin tone, adding the white jacket dials down the saccharine nature without nullifying the look and the extra punch via the matching clutch keeps the fun feeling within the look. I will even give a thumbs up to the white pumps on this occasion.

Camila Alves In Ashi Studio – ‘One Night for One Drop’ Event

Camila Alves In Ashi Studio - 'One Night for One Drop' Event

Camila Alves attended the ‘One Night For ONE DROP’ blue carpet event, held at 1 OAK Nightclub at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, on Friday (March 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I wasn’t a fan of Camila’s last look and this sheer one-of-a-kind jumpsuit by Ashi Studio doesn’t fill me with glee either.

It’s not a sheer fatigue issue, I just perhaps would’ve liked this more had the jumpsuit been accented at the waist, and had she worn this sans blazer.

Camila Alves In Romona Keveza - 2015 amfAR New York Gala

Camila Alves attended the 2015 amfAR New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (February 11) in New York City.

The Latin beauty wore a Romona Keveza Spring 2015 dual-colour black and white halter dress.

I do love the drama of the dress created by the transparent tulle overskirt, but it’s the underskirt that is preventing me from loving this look as it feels stiff, conservative, too office-like.

I know many of you have long given up on the allure of sheer skirts, but for me this signals that it’s finally time to call time on the sheer skirt.

It’s just not working. Not even the belt would’ve saved this look.
