Andrea Riseborough In Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood – Build: ‘Battle of the Sexes’ Discussion

As Andrea Riseborough continues to promote ‘Battle of the Sexes,’ she stopped by Build Studio for a discussion of the movie on Wednesday (September 20) in New York City.

As I’m still adjusting to her transformation, I continue to be surprised each time I see her. But, she is working the platinum blonde crop, and I have to commend her for the all-new attitude.

This Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Fall 2017 ensemble offered up a casual-chic vibe inspired by lounge wear.

So, I know there will be pyjama comparisons. But in this case, the floral separates were suitably tailored to her form so the trend presented well, with the peek at the midriff providing a respite from the looser silhouette.

The pop of metallic shoes added another layer of bright punch to the more muted colour palette.

Andrea Riseborough In Monse – ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Special Anniversary Screening

Shining in golden yellow, Andrea Riseborough attended the ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Special Anniversary Screening on Tuesday (September 19) in New York.

I’m still adjusting to seeing the ‘W.E.’ star’s peroxide crop in comparison to the long, raven locks she had during her first red carpet appearances, but this direction is intriguing.

After playing about with a Saint Laurent one-shouldered, cognac leather mini at the ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Toronto premiere, she chose a softer look with this golden Monse Fall 2017 gown.

The peek-a-boo shoulder cutout was a refreshing take on the staple detail and the dress’s golden colour was enhanced by Andrea’s red lip.

The surprise blue shoes were another pleasing addition so I would have liked to see the gown shortened a few inches so they could be seen better.

The one earring look is something that has graced many runways of late, but I would like to see it removed here as I don’t think it adds anything or balances out the exposed shoulder.

Andrea Riseborough In Saint Laurent – ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

When I think of Andrea Riseborough, my mind always goes back to her first red carpet appearance at the ‘W.E’ Venice Film Festival premiere when a raven haired, pale-skinned actress stepped onto the red carpet in Dior Couture.

So, that’s why I didn’t recognice Andrea upon first sight at the ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere, where she joined Emma Stone.

Rocking a new blonde shorter ‘do and a tan, the actress swapped princess dresses for a Saint Laurent Fall 2017 cognac leather mini.

Ordinarily I’m not a fan of when actresses go so far left, but the new look works with the new attitude.

I’m glad she opted for the modified version and the blue pumps absolutely set my fashion senses on fire.

New and improved, or trying too hard?

Final Sweep Of The 2017 Met Gala Red Carpet

As you know when it comes to the Met Gala, we always – as impossible as the task is – try to feature everyone.

We don’t intend to leave anyone out, nor do we intend to disrespect anyone.

So here is the final sweep from Monday’s event.

As this is very last post, leave your top 10 in the comments.

Deepika Padukone: I was kicking myself for not spotting Deepika on Monday night. The Bollywood beauty looked breath-taking wearing a bias-cut Tommy Hilfiger design enriched with silver embroidery. Some might say the gown is too simple, but the accessories really help bring the look to life.

Tracee Ellie Ross: The ‘Black-ish’ star wore an avant-garde cobalt-blue Comme des Garçons creation, which I’m sure many of you would’ve expected Solange to wear. There is so much beauty in this off-centered design. I wish more had been brave enough to wear Comme des Garçons at this event.

Andrea Riseborough In Escada – 2015 SAG Awards

AndreaRiseboroughInEscada2015SAGAwards

Andrea Riseborough attended Sunday’s (January 25) 2015 SAG Awards, hosted at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.

The ‘Birdman’ actress stayed true to her love of green hues and wore a sea green version of an Escada Pre-Fall 2015 design with a Swarovski clutch.

After such red carpet success like this metallic and feather design, it’s a disappointment to see the ‘Birdman’ actress looking not her best in this gown.

I can appreciate Andrea’s bold choice with an unusual colour and architectural bow detail at the halter neckline, but I wish the gown was enhancing versus masking her figure.

I applaud Andrea’s tricky and brave style choice–that’s what fashion is all about, after all–but I don’t love the end result. What’s your take?

Andrea Riseborough In Escada – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Andrea Riseborough In Escada - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Andrea Riseborough made a return to the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The British actress opted not to wear a predictable gown, instead donning a jade-green suit from Escada’s Fall 2014 collection.

Embodying a masculine profile that is deceptively minimalistic but meticulously constructed, I love how she styled the look with feminine touches such as the rich red lip and wavy tresses.

Nude Casadei ‘Tulip’ sandals and a Zagliani ‘Faye’ blush clutch accessorized her look.
