America Ferrera In Roland Mouret - 'XY' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

America Ferrera attended the ‘X/Y’ Premiere during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival held at BMCC Tribeca PAC on Saturday (April 19) in New York City.

The actress wore a Roland Mouret Spring 2013 navy-and-white ‘Abbotsford’ halter dress masterfully created with tucks and folds for the most flattering effect.

I’m not so crazy about the Rodo orange clutch, even though it ties in nicely with her tri-colour orange, black and nude Kurt Geiger ‘Bank’ sandals and her glossy orange lip.

If you are having a case of déjà vu, that’s because this is the fourth time this dress has hit the red carpet, although it is a first for this colour way.

Samantha Barks wore it in black and green, plus Karolina Kurkova and Natalie Dormer both wore it in green and white. Karolina is still the queen of this look for me.

America Ferrera In Veronica Beard - Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014America Ferrera continued her welcome embrace of colour at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held on Saturday (March 29) at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

Whisking aside the flirty frocks, the actress took a more mannish approach by suiting up in sleek Veronica Beard Pre-Fall 2014 separates.

Her midnight-blue blazer and complementary colour-block, cropped trousers were paired with a sheer black blouse for a touch of peekaboo style, while two-tone nude-and-black Casadei heels also ensured the restrained sexiness of the menswear moment.

Injecting even more bold hues to this strong statement, she added Vernier jewels, including a pair of contrasting green earrings—all the better seen, given her edgy pompadour ’do.

America Ferrera In Dolce & Gabbana - The Cesar Chavez Foundation's 2014 Legacy Awards Dinner

America Ferrera attended The Cesar Chavez Foundation’s 2014 Legacy Awards Dinner held at Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Thursday (March 27) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a cherry-blossom-print Dolce & Gabbana frock, which is becoming increasingly popular as we saw Miranda Kerr wearing the same print just yesterday.

With its flattering ruched sides giving America a delightful silhouette, the actress’s styling couldn’t have been more perfect, with chartreuse satin pumps, IPPOLITA’s ‘Squiggly’ bangle and a mother-of-pearl EMM KUO clutch.

Delighted about this colourful run.

America Ferrera In Sportmax - 'Cesar Chavez' LA Premiere

America Ferrera joined co-star Rosario Dawson for the ‘Cesar Chavez’ LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday (March 20) in Hollywood, California.

Much like Rosario, America ended the week on a high, finally heading towards the lighter, non-black section of her closet, selecting a fanciful pretty pastel-lemony Sportmax Spring 2014 strapless frock featuring a sweetheart neckline and sheer panelled skirt.

The colour couldn’t be more heavenly against her olive skin. I pray that, if there are any more premieres left in this tour, she continues to opt for colour.

Watermelon-pink Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps, a matching lip colour and a chic updo completed her look.

America Ferrera In Alaïa - ‘Cesar Chavez’ Washington Premiere

America Ferrera attended the ‘Cesar Chavez’ premiere at The Newseum on Tuesday (March 18) in Washington, DC.

Like her co-star Rosario Dawson, America wore an LBD in a shimmering patterned material, but her fitted frock was from Alaïa.

Styled with a black cropped Giambattista Valli jacket, the actress complemented her look with metallic-silver Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and a silver clutch.
