2010 Deauville Film Festival “Fair Game” Premiere – America Ferrera In Malandrino

America Ferrera gave us a good run of colour, but now she reverted back to black for the “Fair Game” Premiere during the 2010 Deauville Film Festival yesterday.

She may be wearing my least favourite red carpet colour, but she looks absolutely sensational.

Her black Malandrino dress with a tulip hem was teamed with a leather waistband and what appears to be a navy blue clutch.

As much as a pop of colour would’ve been welcome, I can’t find a single fault, not even with her black Brian Atwood pumps because she’s totally dazzled me.

2010 Deauville Film Festival “The Dry Land” Photocall – America Ferrera In Black Halo

The Deauville Film Festival is currently taking place in France.

America Ferrera is there to promote her new movie “The Dry Land”.

At the photocall she continued to shun black by wearing a navy blue Black Halo dress.

Her dress wouldn’t look out of place on the final season of “Ugly Betty” in which Betty has a chic make-over.

Her cap sleeved belted dress was worn with gold Brian Atwood pumps.

I love the silhouette of this dress, despite its secretarial feel.

“The Dry Land” Miami Premiere – America Ferrera In Catherine Malandrino

America Ferrera walked the red carpet with fiancé Ryan Piers-Williams for the Miami Premiere their new movie “The Dry Land” on Saturday night.

She stars in the movie which her fiancé wrote and directed.

The former “Ugly Betty” actress looked radiant wearing a Catherine Malandrino Pre-Fall 2010 asymmetrical dress.

Her tangerine dress with side draping was paired with a black utility 3.1 Phillip Lim belt and matching Louboutin peep-toes.

I adore this colour on Ferrera as it complements her skin-tone giving her a fresh glow.

Ippolita jewels complete the look.

Who Wore Malandrino Better? Beyonce Knowles or America Ferrera

Here are two gorgeous curvaceous women wearing the same Malandrino Resort 2010 dress.

Beyonce Knowles was the first to step out wearing this jade dress to Billboard’s 4th Annual Women In Music event back in October last year.

The singer wore her dress with ivory Sergio Rossi peep-toes, super-straight hair and large earrings.

This was a refreshing sweet style switch for Bey.

America Ferrera wore the same dress when she attended the 25th Annual Imagen Awards in LA this weekend with red Louboutin’s.

I loved the refreshing burst of colour from America, but I prefer how the dress looks on Beyonce so she wins for me.

25th Annual Imagen Awards – America Ferrera In Malandrino

Woot woot.

Let’s rejoice in the fact that for the first time in a long while, America Ferrera is not wearing black.

The former “Ugly Betty” actress usually stick to her red carpet staple of wearing a LBDs, but she arrived at the 25th Annual Imagen Awards in LA yesterday wearing a beautiful Malandrino Resort 2010 jade dress.

Her Malandrino Resort 2010 dress with draped skirt and ruffled shoulders was even more surprisingly paired with ruby red peep-toes which matched her bold lipstick.

The colour is to die for and I love how the dress nips in her waist.

You may remember that Beyonce wore this same dress to the Billboard’s 4th Annual Women In Music Awards last year.
