Who Wore Forever Unique Better…Georgia May Foote or Alexandra Burke?

Who Wore Forever Unique Better Georgia May Foote or Alexandra Burke

The Pride of Britain Awards took place at Grosvenor House in London yesterday evening.

Georgia May Foote of Coronation Street must have been really excited to come to the big smoke and attend a prestigious event in her Forever Unique ‘AKI’ black gown with a sheer panel (which didn’t appear to be so sheer due to her tan), only to find Alexandra Burke wearing the same dress in red.

Thankfully they didn’t wear the same colour; that would’ve been even more embarrassing.

Despite the illusion panel failing both ladies miserably, I will have to say Georgia wore it better for me as I much prefer her styling. I don’t know what Alexandra was thinking adding that satin blush-coloured clutch to her red dress.

2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

Jessica Brown-Findlay: The actress opted for a very pretty neutral look wearing a Valentino floral dress with nude pumps. One of the very few good looks on this red carpet.

Katherine Jenkins: The singer wore a colourful Mary Katrantzou Spring 2012 strapless dress teamed with nude pumps and blue nail polish.

Alesha Dixon: The talent judge wore a Julien Macdonald Spring 2011 dress. It’s a perfect summery red-carpet look, but we saw this dress on the red carpet almost a year ago when Mollie King wore it to the ‘Harry Potter’ premiere.

Alexandra Burke In Peter Pilotto – 2011 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Alexandra Burke was another attendee at the 2011 GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London tonight.

The singer chose this black and white abstract print Peter Pilotto long sleeve dress.

She accessorized with a black envelope clutch and an oversized diamond Martine Wester cocktail ring.

Alexandra styled her long hair into a high ponytail and completed her look with flawless makeup.

I’m not a fan of this look as I think it’s too overwhelming for her body and a little too covered up.

Her hair and makeup is perfect, but I would’ve loved to see her in a dress with more attitude.

Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter Host A Party For Dolce & Gabbana

In London last night Net-A-Porter.com and Mr Porter.com hosted a party to celebrate Dolce & Gabbana joining the forever expanding list of brands on their virtual shelves.

Celebs donned in their finest Dolce & Gabbana treads to join in the celebrations at Net-A-Porter HQ.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel and long-term friend of Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana wore an animal print chiffon halter dress with black Alaia cut-out suede sandals.

Alexandra Burke: The British singer opted to wear a dark pink Dolce & Gabbana strapless lace bustier which she teamed with black lace Dolce & Gabbana peep-toes and a gold clutch. The clutch is really not working for me. Like really really not working for me.

Jamie Winstone: As you know I have a soft spot for Jamie. The British actress is never boring on the red carpet. She opted to wear a colourful Dolce & Gabbana floral print satin dress which she paired with Michael van der Ham blue devore wedges, which were worn over black socks. I was going to say that her shoe choice is shocking, but everyone else opted for black heels so I should be grateful she did something different.Read More…

Alexandra Burke In D&G – 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Worst Dressed X Factor Winner Award
Alexandra Burke arrived at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London this evening wearing a very summery dress.

The X Factor winner wore a D&G Spring 2011 maxi dress which I feel would’ve been more appropriate for a daytime event.

I may have been forced to like the look had she decided to belt her dress like the model, but even then I think it would still look like a tent on her.

The floral print is the same floral print of Elle Fanning’s MTV Movie Awards playsuit.
