Which Was Your Favourite Anne Hathaway ‘Interstellar’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Anne Hathaway ‘Interstellar’ Promo Tour Look

Anne Hathaway went into the ‘Interstellar’ promo tour with a new stylist and a brand new red carpet look.

Judging by your comments, this wasn’t a successful tour, so let’s take a look back at her looks and see if you can pick a favourite.

LA was the first stop on the tour where she donned a midnight-blue Richard Nicoll bias-cut gown which some deemed very unflattering.

Next up was London, my least favourite of the tour, where she wore a Wes Gordon Spring 2015 Swarovski-crystal-embroidered dress. I wanted to be wowed, but even with the embellishments and the hypnotic emerald accessories, I couldn’t have been more underwhelmed.

We wanted more so Anne upped the ante wearing a web-like embroidered lace, macramé lace, sequined, and Swarovski-crystalized Rodarte frock to the New York premiere, yet many were still unconvinced.

For the Washington DC premiere I could’ve perhaps got on board with her Calvin Klein look had it not been for the lacklustre hair.

On to Asia, where Anna promoted the movie in Shanghai wearing Lanvin to the photocall and a Chanel Couture dress to the premiere which saw Anne back to her captivating best. This was the only bright spark for me on the tour.

Which Was Your Favourite Jessica Chastain ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Jessica Chastain ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby' Promo Tour Look

Jessica Chastain, the hardest working and most stylish woman in Hollywood, had a massive year promoting many movies.

This takes a look back at the promo tour for ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby’ which started in Toronto back in September for the film festival where she wore a dreamy turquoise Atelier Versace with the colour complementing both her pale skin and her flame-red hair.

At Cannes, she took to the red carpet for the premiere wearing one of the best dresses of the year, donning a jaw-dropping Atelier Versace electric-blue gown which six months on still gives me goose bumps.

Flirty and playful in Alexander McQueen for the Cannes photocall, she turned up the heat again wearing a Mary Katrantzou inky-blue paisley-print gown to the Ischia Global Film + Music Festival while giving her bangs their red carpet debut.

Her Prada outing for the New York premiere is perhaps the most forgettable here.

She had three outings during the San Sebastian Film Festival with her wearing Michael Kors and Oscar de la Renta, which showcased her lady-like style, with the tour ending with a bang as she looked sensational wearing a full-skirted cocktail frock with a custom Dsquared² orange and lilac jacquard design which she fully embraced with feminine flare.

My favourite look was the blue Atelier Versace, obvs, with her Dsquared² frock a close runner-up.

While I find myself constantly exasperated by Dakota Fanning’s red carpet style, the same doesn’t apply to her younger sister Elle.

The young actress had an incredible run promoting ‘Maleficent’ this summer wearing an array of looks, starting with Valentino in Paris.

Due to the nature of the movie, we expected a few princess gowns and she didn’t let us down on that front, serving up two epic embellished designs from Georges Hobeika Couture and the red carpet king Elie Saab in London and Hollywood respectively, with the Japan premiere seeing her wearing an Edwardian-style Alexander McQueen gown which didn’t go down too well, but showed that she’s not averse to trying something new.

Of the photocall looks, her Ellery two-piece was perhaps my favourite for its flamenco flair, with the Lanvin being my least favourite for being a bit bland and lifeless.

Which Was Your Favourite Emma Stone ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Promo Tour Look?

Before the promo tour for ‘Magic in the Moonlight’ kicks off, let’s have a look back at Emma Stone’s amazing run promoting ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′.

What I liked most about this tour were the few chic, well-tailored separates. Her Roland Mouret Beijing press conference ensemble and her Saint Laurent suit for the London photocall were my favourite of the non-gown.

When it came to her favourite designers, Valentino was her most-loved brand, with her wearing them on four occasions.

Emma’s favoured style proved to be collared dresses; courtesy of Valentino, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana.

I hate to be obvious and say the Atelier Versace was my favourite, but this really was a movie star moment, followed by her Prada gown.

She had fun with more interesting designs by Lanvin (aka the ‘Trash Bag’ dress) and Erdem, which didn’t go down too well with the majority, but it was great to see her experiment with fashion.

Diane Kruger ‘The Bridge’ New York Promo Tour

Diane Kruger 'The Bridge' New York Promo Tour

Diane Kruger had a busy day promoting Season Two of her hit TV show ‘The Bridge’ on Monday (July 14) in New York City following the press conference for the show last week.

‘The Today Show': Her first look of the day was a sweet Honor Resort 2015 floral frock with a fit-and-flare silhouette. I love the easy-breezy feel of the summery frock, which she styled with a pair of white sandals with an asymmetrical strap. Covet from head to toe.

Press Junket: Diane’s second look was a gorgeous hot-pink Wayne sports-inspired racer-back frock with a fluted skirt adding fluidity to the vibrant dress. She styled the look with white Givenchy sandals.

Which Was Your Favourite Shailene Woodley ‘Divergent’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Shailene Woodley ‘Divergent’ Promo Tour Look

Following a few appearances on the red carpet during awards season, some (especially me) have decided that we will never get Shailene Woodley’s style.

Then along came a new stylist and new direction and the ‘Divergent’ promo tour.

Gone were the meh frocks and in came glamour, and plenty of it.

The tour started with some low-key screenings in Atlanta and Chicago, where she wore Alexander McQueen with some directional footwear and Diane von Furstenberg with plain pumps respectively.

Onto Toronto, where she opted for a sparkly yet casual look courtesy of No. 21. Judging by the comments, this wasn’t your favourite; ‘too office-like’ some said, despite the sparkly trousers.

She stunned at the LA premiere wearing a gold draped Elie Saab Couture gown before heading to New York wearing a modern black jumpsuit from the same designer.

In Mexico City she got fiery, wearing a bright tangerine and black colour block Roksanda Ilincic gown, before cooling down the colour but not the temperature in London wearing a capri-blue Stella McCartney gown.

Next up was Berlin, where she looked breathtaking in a white gown with striking gold embellishments, bold shoulders and a plunging neckline.

The final stop on this tour was Madrid, where she dazzled wearing a red body-skimming Donna Karan Atelier gown.

My favourites were the Elie Saab jumpsuit and the Stella McCartney gown, with the bold colour of the Roksanda Ilincic look sitting top of the tree.
