Here is another quick menswear roundup from the fellows who attended the ‘For The Love of Cinema’ dinner party hosted at Urban Zen in New York City on Thursday (April 17).
James Marsden: Sporting a buzz cut, which doesn’t in any way diminish his charming good looks, the actor wore a navy Ermenegildo Zegna suit and a complementary shirt which really enhanced his eyes. Brown lace-ups completed his look.
Dev Patel: The British actor went for a more laidback look, wearing a printed navy tee shirt and black jeans smartened up with a burgundy blazer, which has always been a great colour on him. Sadly, though, for a dinner party his shoes look a bit scruffy.
Anton Yelchin: The actor wore a Dior Homme deep-blue wool-and-silk notch-lapel tuxedo styled with a white cotton shirt and black leather derbies, opting to go sans tie. You may remember that Jeremy Renner wore this same suit to the ‘American Hustle’ LA screening late last year.
A handful of handsome guys were on the scene this week. Here, a look at their sartorial statements.
Andrew Garfield: Joining Emma Stone at the Berlin premiere of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man: Rise of Electro’ at the Sony Center on Tuesday (April 15), the lead actor was all buttoned up in a refined Louis Vuitton double-breasted, grey plaid suit, accessorized with a dark micro-dot tie, lavender dress shirt and brown loafers.
James Franco: Alongside Leighton Meester, James was at the Broadway opening night after-party for ‘Of Mice and Men,’ held on Wednesday (April 16) at New York City’s Plaza Hotel. He took a classic turn in a black Gucci peak-lapel, two-button ‘Signoria’ suit with a white evening shirt, black silk tie and black leather lace-ups—worn with a side of facial scruff.
Dane DeHaan: Well-coordinated to his co-star at ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ premiere, Dane was also dressed in grey, wearing a Prada suit with a white popeline printed shirt and black calf lace-up loafers. Did you like his tie-less look?
Before the MTV Movie Awards 2014, Jared Leto was making waves—or at least his style was—whilst at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California last weekend (April 11-12). The actor hit the desert scene in appropriately fest-ready attire, looking every bit like an off-duty rock star with equal parts grit, grunge and edge.
Friday: Imparting a bit of the tropics into his ensemble, he put on a blue beach-print short-sleeve popeline shirt from the Prada Uomo Spring 2014 Collection, pairing it with a message tee and slouched, skinny dark pants. His Zadig & Voltaire ‘Joe’ boots, which we’ve seen a few times during this past awards season, made another appearance in their half unzipped and undone state. Of course, the aviator shades, leather wrist cuff and the shirt tied around the waist were all presented and accounted for.
Saturday: The next day, he injected a wild edge into his look via Saint Laurent zebra-print jeans from the Spring 2014 collection, which he wore with a white Enfants Riches Déprimes t shirt worn back to front and black Vans sneakers. This time, he brought back the red plaid with one of his favoured accessories: the shirt around his waist.

Puff Daddy was seen during the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California on Sunday (April 13).
Paying homage to his friend, the late rapper Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, the record producer wore a sweater by Paty Abrahamsson, who has quickly gained fame in the fashion world for her ironic use of graphics on her clothing, including this image of the iconic rapper.
The boys of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro’ are doing a very good job of keeping up with the stylish Emma Stone.
Last night in Rome, they once again showcased their savvy, individual styles.
Andrew Garfield: When in Rome, go sans socks? That is what Andrew did, wearing a Viktor & Rolf Monsieur burgundy suit from the Fall 2014 collection worn with an open-collar shirt and brown lace-ups.
Dane DeHaan: The actor, who is the current face of Prada’s Spring 2014 campaign, wore a light-brown suit from said collection with the most interesting part of the look being his floral-print shirt. While some might think the suit is too stuffy buttoned up, I think it’s better this way to prevent the look feeling like a Hawaiian vacation shirt.
Jamie Foxx: Solidifying his spot as the dapper one of the group, Jamie donned another Ozwald Boateng suit working the bow-tie angle. While the trouser length may not be perfect, this is still a very slick look.
