Emily Blunt In Brock Collection – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Emily Blunt showed her support for husband John Krasinski who was honored at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24). The couple joined Yara ShahidiNicole KidmanDeepika Padukone and Kesha.

The ‘Mary Poppins’ actress embraced moody florals in a Brock Collection Pre-Fall 2018 number.

She elected for a more modest version by lining part of the bodice in black. Not only does it remove the naked feel, it punctuates the black and ivory blooms in a more sophisticated manner.

Some might think the asymmetrical lace peplum overcooks the look. It’s not the detail that bothers me as much as the placement. Had it been a few inches further down or the angle was adjusted slightly, it would have been stronger.

She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Proving his fashion credentials, John looked debonair in Tom Ford. The metallic sheen in silver jacket popped against his classic white shirt, black pants and bow tie.

Ansel Elgort In Alexander McQueen & Violetta Komyshan In Givenchy – ‘Jonathan’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Ansel Elgort and Violetta Komyshan made for an adorable pair at the ‘Jonathan’ premiere, joining Suki Waterhouse on Saturday (April 21) during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

I’m always particularly fond of an aubergine suit, so Ansel’s hip-handsome Alexander McQueen Fall 2018 version definitely checked the box.

With his doorknocker ring and those blinding-white sneakers, the young actor definitely introduced an urban-forward edge to the tailoring here.

The shoes, however, are going to have to remain an un-acquired taste for me, as I couldn’t get past their near-comical bulkiness.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA Premiere Menswear Roundup

At the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA premiere on Monday (April 23), the men scored as many fashion points as the ladies. The gents joined Zoe SaldanaKaren Gillan, Brie Larson and Letitia Wright.

Tom Holland: The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ actor punctuated a Joshua Kane suit with a merlot sweater poking above the buttoned jacket. The suit itself was an interesting style with the multiple buttons and unique fabric that merged blue, gray and green. Christian Louboutin Top Daviol shoes added the finishing touch.

Sebastian Stan: Tom’s costar went for a darker look in Givenchy. Traditional in colour but not in fabrication, the sleek one-button style was constructed out of a pinstripe fabric with subtle sheen. The monochromatic satin lapels and cotton shirt give the outfit an interesting tactile quality.

Chadwick Boseman: Celebrating his love of fashion, the ‘Black Panther’ star was clad in a Prada bottiglia green kid mohair suit with a denim blue and burgundy bicolor popeline shirt. I love his joyful mix of colours. He never disappoints. Christian Louboutin Ajmone boots completed his look.

Sophie Hunter In Christian Dior & Benedict Cumberbatch In Giorgio Armani – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA Premiere

Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch posed arm-in-arm at the LA premiere of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ on Monday (April 23). The couple joined Jennifer ConnellyBrie LarsonLetitia Wright and Zoe Saldana.

Sophie Hunter: The voluminous shape of the English beauty’s Christian Dior dress was enhanced with the metallic grid fabric. The top brought even more shimmering dimension. The sheer neckline added some allure to the ladylike style and it was refreshing to see the detail focused on the bodice as opposed to the skirt.

Benedict Cumberbatch: Looking dapper in velvet, the ‘Sherlock’ actor was clad in Giorgio Armani. Some might deem the fabric too wintery for the season so he was clever to add some lighter elements via his shirt and tie. The finishing touches also tied in the tones of his wife’s dress for a coordinated finish.

‘Westworld’ Season 2 LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Many more stars joined Angela Sarafyan, Thandie Newton, and Evan Rachel Wood at the ‘Westworld’ Season 2 LA premiere on Monday (April 16).

Tao Okamoto: This Elie Saab Spring 2018 gown fully encompassed the designer’s foliage-driven collection with its leafy motif. Many of us will have to choose to ignore the visible nude undies underneath the sheer skirt, as I question whether black granny panties would have been any better.

Jonathan Tucker: Proving that men can certainly wear pink—and look damn handsome—Jonathan took a sharp turn in this Strong Suit by Ilaria Urbinati Collection suit that retained a sense of casual flair thanks to the unbuttoned dress shirt. Rich chocolate loafers and a David Yurman pinky ring rounded out the look.

Katja Herbers: I appreciate that Katja let her Giamba Spring 2018 mixed pattern frock with boho broderie influences stand on its own without the clutter of extraneous accessories.
