Celebrities Love…Stuart Weitzman ‘Clinger’ Booties

With an uncanny resemblance to 1960s go-go boots, the Stuart Weitzman ‘Clinger’ booties have celebrities going gaga for their mod mood.

Considering that ‘it’ girl Gigi Hadid fronted the label’s Spring 2017 campaign featuring the footwear—and little else—the sock-style booties were kicked off on the right foot.

It was only a matter of time before other style darlings gravitated towards their on-trend, pointy toe shape and coordinating, crescent-shaped block heel.

The ‘Clinger’ has been spotted on Adriana Lima, Hailee Steinfeld and, naturally, Bella Hadid is a fan, too.

Despite their retro influence, the stocking boots still sport a fresh, style-forward attitude that’s relevant and surprisingly quite versatile. The streamlined design and flawless fit can truly be worn with anything—from a sophisticated, monochromatic moment, to a boho midi skirt, a sweet floral frock, or casually cropped denim and trousers.

Being clingy never looked so cool.

Celebrities Love…Monochromatic Dressing

Donning color is a surefire way to make an outfit pop, especially when it’s expertly styled from head-to-toe.

Monochromatic dressing has once again resurfaced as one of summer’s major styling tips and fashion-forward celebrities have been pushing the limits of this trends to new heights—by strutting their best street-style looks in vibrant hues, soft neutrals, and varying shades in the same color family.

Bella Hadid: Dusty rose can be feminine by nature, but Bella Hadid’s look embraces the hue with a new sense of attitude by pairing a cropped crisscross top, slouchy pants and coordinating pointy-toe boots. Finish the look with a chain-link choker and knuckle rings for savvy street-style.

Hailey Baldwin: Fashion is full of surprises and when styled to a tee a tracksuit can be subtly sexy, especially when you’re decked out in the color of the season, red. The key to nailing a monochrome tracksuit is all about being bold. Hailey’s look commanded the streets in her Balenciaga sweatshirt, Danielle Guizio track pants, DSquared2 lace-up heels and topped it off with large gold hoops.

Kendall Jenner: Grey can often be a subdued hue, but Kendall Jenner’s latest monochromatic interpretation of the mild color is anything but. Take your next style cute by mixing chunky knit, two-toned gray jeans, white boots and a gray beanie for a look that will surely stand out in a crowd.

Zoë Kravitz: The famed actress is a style savant by nature and her utterly cool fashion sense never disappoints—even her off-duty style. For a sophisticated take on neutral monochromatic dressing opt for hues in soft oatmeal, tan and a dose of mahogany for simplistic style at its finest. Keep the neutral theme going by extending it with camel pointy-toed flats.

Celebrities Love…Roberi & Fraud Sunglasses

Hitting the bustling streets of New York is no easy feat. It not only requires a noteworthy street-style ensemble, but a standout of pair of shades that causes onlookers to do a double-take.

New York based, Roberi & Fraud is the next brand to emerge with a wave of sunglasses that have caught the eye of the style-set. The line’s irresistible ‘90s infused designs have even caught the attention of fashion’s mega-models, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid who can’t help but sport their sleek shades at any given moment.

If you’re a risk taker like Bella, don’t hesitate to pair your gold Doris shades with an equally eye-catching oversized orange coat and if you’re a downtown girl at heart—a la Kendall Jenner—wear your black Betty sunglasses with a leather beret, graphic tee and pink jeans. As for Gigi Hadid—the reigning queen of style—you can’t go wrong with an emblazoned aqua blue sweatshirt, jeans and solid black Doris shades.

Whether you’re a full-blown ‘90s aficionado—go with the Doris shades—or if you prefer a classic Betty cat-eye, Roberi & Fraud’s sunglasses are the ultimate way to achieve sublime style.

Cam Loves…Sunshine Yellow

The sun is always shining for country music singer Cam, who has never met a shade of dazzling yellow that she doesn’t love.

Such a bright hue is not always so warmly embraced by celebrities on the red carpet. But Cam has led us down her yellow brick road, and we’re only too happy to follow her lead.

First up on her style play list, a creamy yellow Christian Siriano confection that was both romantic and radiant, especially with her platinum blonde curls.

At the American Music Awards, her outlook only became even sunnier in a luminous and lemony Maria Lucia Hohan halter gown—punctuated by a light teal eye shadow.

For her third time out in yellow, she skipped a dress in favour of a sexy menswear-inspired Topshop suit at the 2017 ACM Awards. With its boldly saturated goldenrod shade, it was the most striking of the three looks and only further emboldened by her silver metallic heels.

Emily Robinson Loves….White Dresses

White is the new black for up-and-coming starlet Emily Robinson, who’s seemingly never met a white dress she doesn’t like.

What makes her frequent choice of the colour so successful is that, despite the monochrome mood, each and every frock is quite varied as can be seen in the mix of silhouette, styling, and textural dimension in three of her recent looks.

Look 1: With this Carolina Herrera dress, she maintained the epitome of both youthful innocence and ladylike sophistication, with the effortless statement only enhanced by the subtle glitz of embellished metallic heels.

Look 2: A frilled Red Valentino frock was all about schoolgirl charm married with a side of all-grown-up allure.

Look 3: With a nod to the girly lace for which the Self-Portait label is known, this dress ensured plenty of visual interest with its mix of patterns and textures—all topped off with ankle-tie Stella Luna sandals.

You may remember that we even saw the actress’s affinity for white dresses early on, with a floral-printed white look at the 2015 Emmy Awards.

Has she left you inspired to start the spring season on a white note?
