What is it with celebs and their ankle boots these days?

Don’t get me wrong, I think their fab. But really, for the red carpet?

Especially when wore with a short dress, these boots do a girl’s legs no favour (take note, Leona and Lo).

Ankle boots make the legs appear shorter than they actually are so opt for something more delicate for optimum height.

Nobody wants to appear to have cankles.

I know that Alexa is adored for her tom-boy style, but I’d love to see her in something more feminine on the red carpet.

I love the rock chick look but there’s a time and a place.

A great pair of ankle boots should be worn with jeans or leggings not a gorgeous dress.

Beyonce Knowles is currently in London to perform at the O2 Arena.

It’s not all work and no play, because Beyonce has been seen leaving the Whiskey Mist club most night with hubby Jay-Z.

Looking at what Bey is wearing, it appears she loves more than our famous nightclubs. She loves are British high-street stores, as she’s been seen sporting many pieces from ‘Reiss’, ‘New Look’ and ‘Topshop’.

My favourite look is her ‘Reiss’ white mini dress, which she paired with matching heels. She later added a ‘Reiss’ leather embellished jacket which made her look even hotter.

Can you imagine Bey in ‘New Look’?

Me neither, but that’s were she got her £20 ‘Idol’ grey dress. Not sure about that hat ?!?!?

Her last look has an edgier feel to it as Bey sparkles wearing a sequin vest, paired with Topshop sequin tapered pants.
